when I saw those landing arrows on his legs, I instantly thought: that is "deceptively" inviting. it just screams "land here in front of my giant twin barrel gun"

I sincerely cannot imagine a giant thing with shoulder cannons the size of legion class figures and the head literally transforming into a deluxe figure can even hope to stand up or pose in anyway

i remember seeing this video shortly after it came out, and it made me have 1 rule for collecting transformers, no titan class figures, cause i knew id never own this toy cause of ebay scalpers. today, i was able to break that rule! thank you for all the content youve made emgo, youre a real asset to the community!
Yep! That is one concept I really love.... I wonder if they could make it even *more* Headmaster-y? This guy is the King of Titan master/Headmasters! Also, Cerebros can slide in more in city mode. The arms weren't lined up.
There are so many secrets to this figure. I got him at release and am still finding new things. Finding out that secret transformations, alternate modes, and hidden compartments are a thing in the new transformers toys since titans returns, it would be really cool to see you do a review or special explaining in detail some of the hidden features of the figures. (Specifically fortress maximus). Love your show, keep it up!
opened up the box and checked for three pieces from the rip Spike: check Cerebros: check where the hell is the Master Sword!? no Gasket? no Gromit? Hasbro, wtf?
i love this line so much its like their loading every gimmick that fans love ie cities and headmasters and triple changing and somehow the figures still manage to be amazing

It kinda makes sense that him, and Metroplex share so much. They both turn into aautobot cities/bases. The "architecture" on each should be kinda similar.
Looking forward to getting this Fort Max! Moms boyfriend took my G1 Fort Max to Goodwill at some point along with a bunch of my other G1 figures, so there is quite a bit of sentimental attachment to Fort Max.
emgo316 Metroplex's flip out white gun is in the Drone... the red part if steamed apart. The Leg drone I believe was meant to be Gasket if the Black Chest gun is placed on the drone. Additionally the drone has a clip piece but nothing to attach it to most likely Grommet Max's other accessory from g1 they together for Cog!

I haven't bought a TF in a loooooong time...happy to see they went back to letting us put the stickers on...that was my favorite part of getting a new TF when I was a kid...the bigger the sticker sheet the happier I was...lol...
would it have been too difficult to have the ramps going over the fists like in the G1 version? that and perhaps a way to make the legs into towers would be my only major change, great figure either way. thank you

Well done as always, Emgo. My city in Northern California needs more TF figures like him. We barely saw figures from last year's Combiner Wars line, I might add. Looking forward to Titans Return as well.
You CAN get Max's legs to stand vertically while he's in base mode (just not sure how stable it is) for a more G1 toy base mode. I've seen Peaugh tweet an image of it!
Can't wait for the PE rifle to go up for Pre-Order. Really wish they included the big rifle at least, oh well, this is why 3p came about. One thing I've heard with the opening legs is that it can help you create more of a G1 style city mode.
Brandon Coe For me, it's a matter of space. I only have 2 display areas in my house and the one that's not hosting a full Shockwave collection is not big enough for 3 titans along with my 3rd party legends collection (DX9 and Iron Factory). Plus I don't know how much space Trypticon will actually take.

Poor Megatron ! I hope Fortress Maximus doesn't rip one on him or take a dump on him. It would be the most humiliating defeat he's ever had in his career as a tyrant.
The reason the original g1 emissary was called Spike was because he is Spike Whitwickey from the last few episodes of the cartoon brought in target masters and headmasters which also brought in 2 new titans being Scorponok and Fortress Maximus.
