Lexus/toyota has been making very interesting cars lately. It;s amazing how such heavy cars can be so fast with great handling as well as luxury characteristics.
I never understood why people compare the RCF to the M4 when both are in completely different classes. The RCF is essentially the Japanese vision of a refined muscle car while the M4 isn’t trying to fit that image.
@@2URLex besides the m4s extreme power ban I really don’t see how there different, I have a rcf friend owns a m4 ^ somehow this suspension was softer then stock clearly cause the rcf is very rough, my friends lowered m3 is as smooth
They need to re-run this battle with the M4 repaired otherwise this video is pretty pointless. I would still have the RCF over the M4 though. Have driven both and preferred the RCF by a mile. Really didn't like the M4 and I am a BMW driver coming from a Z4 35is DCT. The M4 is boring inside and I found it handled terribly on everyday roads. I've no doubt it would be better on a track than the RCF but only marginally and you would have to be an extremely skilled driver to get the most out of it. The RCF is multiple personality for daily use. Quiet comfortable cruiser when you want it to be then an absolute animal when you want to have fun.
I own 2017 GSF currently but rented 2018 M4(competition) and tested M5(F10) twice last year. Guess what? I still LOVE my GSF a lot!!!(GSF's handling is sharper than M5) In addition, I just put Ohlins DFV(16k/12k) on my GSF recently. I set cruise control at 130 km/h on a very curvy highway. Guess what? I didn't feel scary at all but SLEEPY!!! (maybe Ohlins DFV is also TOO COMFORTABLE???)
Cause American joiurnalis hated the rcf after clarksons review, the m4 is hard to drive, its def faster, he spins right through 2nd hear. but 90 percent of the time rcf 60ft is better cause people can't launch m4, rcf got a really bad take when it came out
