I have the same fox shocks take offs on mY wj and I'm at 4 inch coils all around and I bottomed out like crazy even on street roads in the wront. I added a 2 inch budget lift pucks on the front and I no longer bottom out. I recommend going no less than 4.5 inch coils or else you will end up with premature blown front shocks
Sweet WJ and great video! Just got me a wj and the rubicon take off wheels on 33s. Do you have a link for the shocks and spring coils or where can I purchase them?
i have the same wheel tire combo with a 2 inch pucks. which adapters did you use to make the front gladiator shocks work? and how did you like it before you replaced the springs
Could I ask what your wheel hub to fender measurement is, front and rear? I know your cut in the front is cut and you can guess that number if you want but IRO does have "Stock" numbers to reference.
Are you using a stock tj spring,if so what year tj,also is there anything else you had to change,I'm a baller on a budget with a wj I'm trying to add my own touches to it,
I don’t know why people are raving about using metalcloak TJ springs on the WJ. First off the TJ is a substantially lighter vehicle and when these springs are used, they completely compress the dual rate portion to where it is absolutely useless. They are also a lower spring rate and cause more body roll. I’m sorry but this was a complete waste of money.
The dual rate part is supposed to compress all the way, only to be used when at full droop so you don't drop a spring, even on the TJ. Extremely helpful when on long arms (which are coming later this year for my Jeep). The top coils are a very low spring rate, you can pretty easily compress them by hand
@@BackyardBuilder513 I agree that the spring rate is somewhat negligible. Ride height can be resolved with spacers. If body roll is a concern then sway bar upgrades are probably the better solution. And with proper selection of shocks you can still get a softer or more firm ride if desired.
