Regular & my special ingredient marmalade. You are only a few steps away from the best homemade marmalade. The batch made on video turned out darker orange but was not burned & had a richer taste than the lighter version.
Sadly there are far fewer citrus groves in Mesa these days. Most have been bulldozed to make new homes. There used to be a Sunkist plant here but it closed so the orchards started being sold off. Thanks for watching & have a good one!
Hi, TJ! Wow, that orange marmalade looks amazing! 19 dozen oranges is quite a lot haha. This recipe is a lot less "quilombo" than the others. I like easy, so I like this recipe! Thanks for telling us about how you were a bit overzealous in regards to the temperature. It is good when chefs like us share our mishaps, I think. Thanks for sharing1
I was surprised that the overzealous one turned out good. I figured it was burned bit it came out great too. It tasted different than the lighter version but still very good. Thanks for watching!
Hello friend!!! Your marmalade recipe looks so delicious today! My mouth is watering! Thank you so much for always sharing your precious recipe! I'm so good at learning things that I didn't know!!!! I'll visit your channel again! Have a nice day!
It is nice having an orange tree. They are easy to take care of and stay green all year long. Too bad it only makes one batch of oranges per year. Thanks for watching!
As your friend I have to say... Don't pursue the career in juggling, also I'm glad you didn't get in trouble dropping those oranges all over the house like that lololol. This marmalade is so much faster and easier than the other versions that's for sure, you cut out so many steps and still made an amazing product. I wish I lived next door so I could steal some oranges for myself, they are very beautiful, and you cant beat that freshness. I like the ones with the cinnamon and clove, it def adds that little extra special flavor:) Another winner for the books, also, sorry I'm late!
Late? I'm happy if anyone shows up ever so no worries there. If you lived next to me you could have all the oranges you wanted. Of course you would have to give up coffee, but a small price to pay for living next to me 🤣. I'm not the worlds greatest juggler but it was even harder doing it with the filming lights blasting right in my face. I'm surprised I didn't break anything other than my dignity. Good thing I wasn't making an egg video. Thanks for watching & brightening my day!
I've never seen marmalade made before TJ and it looks so delicious the cinnamon and clove version sounds like the way to go! Nice joggling skills too haha!!
Haha, the juggling was a bit difficult with the camera lights in my face. The cinnamon & clove is really good, I can eat it by itself. Thanks for watching!
In a few more weeks the tree will be full of orange blossoms. That is my favorite time because it smells so great. Let me know how you like it if you make it. Thanks for watching!
The lemon helps with the firming and gelling. I'm not sure how much extra it adds since I used all of the orange pith but I stick it in there anyway. Thanks for watching!
I never remember what makes each one it's own thing either. Marmalade is weird because it doesn't have to set firm like jelly and it has chunks like a jam. All I know is that it tastes good and uses up some oranges. Thanks for watching!
@@FlourEggsYeast Yep, it's in my backyard. I planted it when it was just a wee twig. One day a year it provides me with a ton of oranges. The best part is in the Spring when it blossoms for a few weeks, that is the greatest smell ever!
