TLRV Rove Lite 16RB | Small Camper RV Caravan With a Bathroom | Tow this Travel Trailer With a Car 

I have a 14FL and LOVE it. I have owned several small trailers in the past, always trying to keep weight to a minimum (pop-ups, Aliners. treardrops, etc.) and this one fits the bill perfectly. I tow with a Ford Escape Titanium which in theory can pull 3500 lbs so am well within the safe zone. The fact that this trailer has built-in electronic sway control is great because I could dispense with the heavy mechanical hardware I needed previously. It is perfect for 2 people. It has the small dinette on the side, allowing us to keep the front lounge permanently down in the bed configuration. I am excited to take my little grandson camping once he gets a bit older. He will be sleeping on the collapsed dinette bed which will be more than big enough for him.

I bought my 2023 16R from Keith’s last year. I love my RB16! Keith has a great team! Nice improvements so is the larger baggage door. My trailer came with vinyl seats (although I saw models with the fabric ones). The table is a huge improvement over the 2023 model. The updated graphics are nice. Curious…does it still come with the Tuson sway control? It is a feature that should be promoted more. I tow with a 2020 Ford Escape SEL with a towing capacity of 3500 lbs. absolutely no issues at all. I towed my old Aliner Ranger 15 OffRoad (dry weight 1900lbs) from Idaho- including through WY, MT, ND & SD to Lunenburg NS and as far south as Virginia with this vehicle. I find no difference in towing my 16RB, largely-I think-due to the Tuson. It’s worth noting that I had them lift my trailer so it wouldn’t bottom out. I could not open the rear hatch of my Escape, because it hit the power lift (it even did it before the lift, u less the trailer was in perfect alignment with my Escape), so I asked Keith to rotate my power lift 60° to the right. Problem solved. I had Keith’s team add a 200W flexible Renogy solar panel & lithium battery. A rhino sewer hose will not fit in the bumper, because the connections are too big. I had them add a sewer storage tube in front of my tires-I have since seen where others have installed theirs behind the battery box. I added an extra battery box beside my lithium one to use as storage for all things sewer related-connectors, gloves, etc, including the plastic wrenches to remove caps. I had to also add a sewer cap with a handle, because I don’t have the strength in my hands to temove it otherwise. I also removed my bedroom door to accommodate a 54” topper to the existing mattress. Thanks for the solid review of the 16RB. The manufacturer's web site does not have links available for this one. The one thing that I would like to see, as a larger guy, is more space between the commode and wall to accommodate body size. With most campgrounds having bath houses, it's not a deal breaker as my brother-in-law (marathon runner and thin as a rail) admits to barely using his RV's toilet. Perhaps a modification to eliminate part of that shelving unit (at the 4:22 mark) would make the difference. The selling point for me is the lightweight construction which allows me to consider more length while still being able to safely tow with my 2022 Edge ST-Line (3500 towing capacity, 350 max hitch). The freestanding dinette table is also nice.

I really like this layout. I agree about the dump area. But I do think they missed an opportunity for a little more storage in the bedroom area. Also it looks like it has a removable dining table. I like that.

I have a 2022 Rovelite FL and I like to camp in late fall and early spring. I almost froze this fall because it's not cold weather friendly. Single pane windows no insulation in the roof. And the furnace isn't big enough in the cool fall weather. But my friend she fell in love with it, I should have known better. It's great for summer camping but I don't do enough of that to warrant keeping it. I think I'll look into something a little more cool weather friendly, maybe a Russian-Bear. Now that's a warm tent.

Hi do you know the exterior height of the trailer. Specs say 8Ft 1 inch but with the AC on top I believe it will add to the height. Really like the trailer but got to be able to fit in the garage. Thanks for all your great videos!!

Great review! Sorry…what was to be a brief comment has evolved into a dissertation of sorts! I hope some of this will be of help to you… I LOVE my 2023 16RB. I can’5 wait to get it out of storage in the spring. I bought my 16RB from Keith last year. Both the List and retail prices for the 2024 are less than that for the 2023 model. I had them install a Renogy 200W flexible solar panel and lithium battery. Keith and his team are great to work with. love this model! The dry bath and large black/grey tanks were huge selling points for me. The Tuson sway control is a fabulous feature. IMHO it should be installed on all trailers! I see that they’ve changed the table from the single pedestal-with 3 floppy ‘feet’. It’s a nuisance to have to store it on the bed for travel. The new version is slightly better, but I really wish that they had a wall-mounted, fold-down table. I’ve seen ones that are hinged, so it can be switched from the table height to the bench height for converting to a bed. They’ve also installed a wider baggage door for better access. I agree re the sewer connections! I wish that an OffRoad version was available. I had Keith’s ‘flip’ my axle, because my trailer bottomed out a few times on my trip home, and I didn’t have clearance to lower all of the stabilizers unless my site was perfectly flat. It should be noted that the bumper will not accommodate ta Rhino sewer hose-or others, I’ve heard-because the connectors are to wide. There wasn’t enough room for my sewer hose in the baggage compartment, and I preferred to not have it stored there anyway, so I had Keith’s team add a sewer hose carrier in front of my tires. Since then, I’ve seen some mounted btwn the front of the trailer and the battery box- a much better location, I think. I also mounted an old 24 Group battery both on the tongue beside my lithium battery. It’s the perfect spot to store the sewer accessories! Free added storage and much better than having sewer-related equipment inside the trailer. The 2023 bed was originally advertised-and shown on the floor plan-as a 54” x 75”. This did not allow for the space taken up by the sliding door. They’ve now changed that description to the true 48” width. The mattress seemed quite adequate for 3-night shakedown trip to Arrowhead PP, but I realized on my first 3-week trip that I would need a topper. I ended up removing the sliding door to accommodate a 4” dual-layer double bed memory foam topper. Now it’s really comfortable.There’s just myself, so it doesn’t matter that the topper is a little wider than the mattress. It likely wouldn’t matter for a couple either. There IS some storage space for a bin of less frequently used items under the left bench seat. I used strips of industrial strength Velcro to keep the bin from moving around. The seat is currently screwed in place, I’m planning on installing a gas strut to make access easier. I suggest that you join the Rove Lite FB group, if you haven’t already done so. I should preface this as I am new to RV world - watched soooo many videos'! But this weight is perfect. fridge - wish it was bigger and opened opposite? I would give up that counter space for taller fridge. Maybe a flip up counter addition beside sink? Bathroom- are their outlets? and lots of wasted space on wall above toilet & back wall - needs storage (even the mesh netting would have been good) I can understand no sink - but I wonder if there is lightweight mirror option you could add Not for makeup lol. shaving & maybe hair every once & a while. lol. Are there outlets in bed area? charging ports? This is nice - look for lightweight for two adults and two dogs! subscribed !! (bigger wheels? and is there a furnace or air conditioning - curious - remember I'm new!!)

Can you get a smaller bed? AKA a twin size if you wanted to get more storage?

Picking up the Tongue of a 2,000 pound trailer does not mean it is Light. It is just well balanced on a single axle pivot point. When I move trailers, I have the people sit or stand on the tail to bring up the tongue and make it easier to lift.

How long could fridge operate on battery before the battery is exhausted? I like to camp in the shady woods

I have a 2020 Acura rdx .. would this be able to tow this?

The heat or the cold air wont go to the bedroom door closed.. so not very convenient. A kinda panel could be easily add to protect the dump station from debris
