The anticipation of your dog passing is almost worse than actually losing your dog. My 15 year old Jack Russell died in November and it was one of the hardest things I’ve dealt with. So many tears and breakdowns. I’m actually misty eyed typing this. The bond between a girl and her dog is truly like no other. Thinking of y’all senior dog moms ❤️

As a pet parent, I totally get that fear and anxiety feeling about pet health especially as they age ❤. Sometimes I find myself trying to purposely distance myself emotionally from my pets to soften the blow when the inevitable happens. But then, I remember how important it is to just love them as much as we can for as long as we can.

Grace, my previous dog, my FIRST dog passed away at 5 years old due to Cushing’s (boxer/rottweiler mix) and a ton of other health issues. i always cried while he was alive thinking i could never live without him and then the day happened and it fucking sucked and it was awful. but make sure you have people around you who you love and can fall apart with. and make sure you take time to sit with it and go through memories and to talk through memories with. it took me years to adopt a new dog who is a total blessing to my life. all i can say is don’t give up, put your heart into it, and don’t lose hope.

Losing a pet sucks and it can give you anxiety thinking about it for sure. I have two pups right now and have lost two pups. I just always tell myself, as hard as it is it is so worth it and I try to be the best dog daddy there is so I have no regrets. Also, I have always said sooner than later. As soon as I see any type of suffering that is irreversible, it is time. Much love to you both.

I do NOT want a regular pop album. There are other artists for that, tbh. And her newest album sounds pretty different melodically and lyrically. Plus lots of the album is her saying, "I'm gonna do what I want!" I'm not even a that big of a Swiftie, tbh. But a LOT of her recent and even boppy music is sad lyrically. Sorry to hear that you've had bad news about your furbaby. I understand it deeply. ❤

We put down my family dog in July- we had a trained vet come to our home to put her down in her favorite spot, while eating her favorite food (peanut butter). She was a 17 year old puggle and was blind and deaf. One of the hardest things but I am glad she was able to be comfortable during the process.

I’m so sorry to hear about yalls pups, we just put down the family dog my parents got when I graduated high school 10 years ago and it was really hard. Also as a dedicated Swifty, I promise we’re not all crazy people who wish harm to anyone who doesn’t praise everything she does 😅 I 100% agree that this new album isn’t for everyone

My 13 year old dog passed away last night. Saw this through tears but I’m happy she’s resting and not in pain anymore. It’s tough, I was ready to say goodbye yet, I’ve been crying none stop but the happiness she gave us it’s healing ❤😢
