Thanks for watching the video! My livestream is here: bit.ly/2rvjrnP Merch: masku.creator-spring.com ThatBlastedSalami makes amazing Tekken 8 Guides bitly.ws/3aIck
I think it would be really cool if you made a super in depth guide for Kazuya. The 8 minute one is nice but I feel like a guide explaining how you are supposed to use tekken fundamentals with Kazuya, his moves, and what he does would be super cool. All the guides I've watched go over moves and what his "best moves are", but lack educating how to incorporate the fundamentals to the moves. You have some of the highest quality content as well so it would be nice to get it from my favorite youtuber and streamer.
His f4 is really good for keeping him plus. Also his db4 but I’m only in reds ranks so yea but you wanna use his heat a lot too to maintain pressure. If you can maintain pressure and apply your 50/50 from your wave dash you’ll destroy a lot of people. Condition them to block low and destroy them with your wave dash into the mid 1+2 I’m sure there’s 1000 more other things but this is what I’ve figured out after playing him since the game dropped. I was hard stuck orange forever
I really like the way you use heat, I often use it mainly as a way to get in but setting up the steel pedal into ground game seems really strong. I'll start practicing that
Today and Yesterday i stuck in Tenryu and Shinryu with Kazuya with like 50 games or so. The players are getting insanely better at this game. Cant move up the rankings...
Everyone hits their “wall”, you have to start thinking outside the box. “Have I learned to side step? Have I learned the matchup between my character and others? Am I optimizing combos including stage breaks? Do I understand all of my frame data? Do I know how to punish common strings?”
As a Fujin player, the most common mistake I see in Red Ranks is players dont understand spacing, dont know how to Korean Back Dash, their timing is too predictable, they dont understand frame data, and they dont understand its “their turn” to press a button. Hope that helps.
@@strayzzfaxz6740 sadly, it is not. Ironically I played Tekken seven for the first time after getting eight to be able to tell if I have been learning kbd proper. That’s how much more forgiving back dashing is in this game. Kbd is still significant in the higher rank from what I’ve seen.
A title is just a title at the end of the day. Skilled, sure. But people will always have performance issues for a variety of reasons because they're people, not gods or machines.
i think there is so little hype to 6arakin, because he is just not good at the game. he calls out people and then gets absolutely cooked right afterwards, its just weightless talk.
That's the thing,he's just talk and he does it because he knows it'll get him more viewers. The best thing to do is just ignore him because without controversy he's literally nothing. The only other thing is that the dude will literally nonstop harass you, aside from that,he's just another lolcow who knows he wins by getting his ass beat.
I’ve converted from yoshi to kazuya to greater understand the experience of daddy mainman btw. Playing kazuya is a different world lol I feel good about executing the inputs instead of actually winning matches it’s kind of refreshing. I’m a fujin yoshi and struggle greatly in orange as kazuya edit: I change my mind 30 mins of practicing electric to get it down got me to flame ruler with about 70% win. Had enough time left after to get feng to tenryu. Id say kazuya is more close to feng than he is to yoshi in ease of use.
That is your real rank. You have no idea how many people I've met that are rulers and blue ranks that have NO IDEA wtf they are doing, they just spam with jun, yoshi, Leo, Feng, azucena, Victor etc ... ZERO defense (the stat is in the 40s). Just panic moves and spam. Once you unfold their 2 flowcharts and punish the panic attack, it's like they revert to not knowing their own character, start dropping combos, don't pick up on launch, dont punish the hellsweep. Kazuya is just pure Tekken: footsies, defense, punish, neutral 50/50s with multiple counterplays..
Not to undermine your achievements but if you're fujin with yoshi and stuck in orange with kazuya then you kinda got carried by yoshi. Yoshi is literally a bag of tricks that most people don't know how to play against. He's in the bears and azucena category but people don't complain about yoshi cause everyone loves yoshi. As a true fujin rank you should able to get shinryu with kazuya easily
@@idkwut2do907 brotha man when you play 1 character and nobody else for a month it gets hard to break the habits of hitting certain buttons to extend combos and to do pokes. When you get older you work a job for 10 hours of your day then you spend another 2 hours prepping your food for dinner and lunch the next day and another hour or so to clean your body. Then you have 3 hours of time to spend with your girl, working out, and tekken. It doesn’t mean you’re carried by a character when you can’t pick up kazuya and get him to red in an hour 😂 you can’t even play the matches to make red in an hour my son
@@frenchVynnI'm not gonna lie when I started playing for fun instead of talking it too seriously I improved so much . Now I 'm mighty ruler and I think I have the room to get fujin pretty soon.
Question about what happened at 28:40 Ive never seen this till now so if you use kazuya's DF 3,2,1 string and only the last attack hits them it will stun them and you can combo after? Or does it have to be a counter hit?
This is a bit random but I noticed that on MainMan’s stream, he still has channel point goals where if someone gives him a certain (extremely high) amount of channel points, he will “play Eliza/Lucky Chloe” for 30 mins. If someone actually claims one of those goals, would he literally boot up Tekken 7 again just to play Eliza or Lucky Chloe for 30 mins? (Assuming they don’t end up in Tekken 8 which is probably not happening any time soon) This is something I realised pretty shortly after T8 came out and it is funny to think about.
i only realised now how scary kazuya actually is, like imagine youre fist fighting someone irl n all of a sudden they grow wings n turn purple n all of a sudden theyre like 200x faster
As a Lee player, my favorite fights are against Kazuyas. They’re always really freaking fun and I have major respect for them! That first match was just perfect for me lol
That other kazuya was Hella sus. He wasnt even doin much besides neutral and those Block „reads“ especially with that Connection. Glad Mainman put him in his place
Just switched from controller playing at a high intermediate level to using lever less (Haute42 it’s great) - and I’m playing at such a basic level so hard to adapt lol
Hi TMM thankyou for your videos and guides , i am a bryan player and would love to play against you, hoping to see you on the ladder i've still got quite some way to go :)
As a Kazuya main. Big applause for MainMan, he makes Kazuya look so easy and fun. As a casual Tekken player, I really don’t like this game. It’s full of cheese with characters that require no execution whatsoever. it’s unplayable unless you build up knowledge and spend alot of time training.
