Hwoarang's ending is my favourite in T6. He really wants to best his rival but he doesn't want to take the same road that Jin took and decides to defeat him the legit way. Mad Respect.
I would also like to remind all of you that King took that mask off in the T2 opening. Armor King removed his mask in King's T3 ending. In the old days, they didn't just walk around in their spare time wearing them for no reason. Which makes the whole modern insistence that they both talk in growls even more stupid: King 2 is an orphan rescued by King 1. The man can talk just fine.
They are Mexican Luchadores, its a pretty accepted practice that they wear their masks most of the time, especially in public. In fact there were specific reasons for King and Armor King to not have their masks on in those 2 instances you mentioned.
The ending where armor king is confronting marduck isn't even that bad. It even shows you AK1 was sick when he fought Marduck in that bar, and marduck doesn't even look angry with AK2, he looks genuinely sad remembering that he killed AK1
Let's be honest, Tekken has always been cheesy... Except Tekken 4, a little. I Honestly forgot these endings, and I thought that back in the day, they where nice. How wrong I was. 4:50: Dissapointed TMM🤣
@@CameronKujo Not really Heihachi sent him away to do business in other country because he begin to know why Kazuya was treated so badly compared to him and wasn't Kazuya fault of becoming what Heihachi fears most. He knows deep down Kazuya is not really bad guy he is just oblivious like their father.
Formula is simple for Tekken 8: Tekken 4/5 style and seriousness for story (I know it's a fighting game but just make it decent) Tekken 6 SC idea to include more characters in the main story Tekken 7 story mode idea for the gameplay of story mode. Notice how Namco created boss characters for story mode and made how the fights execute.
Hey MainMan just pointing this out but theres actually a reason behind Ganryus odd ending. In Tag 1's Beta/Turbo mode Devil Ganryu was a selectable character. He looked like Ganryu but he shared some moves with Devil. Its super deepcut reference.
Anna's gimmick has always been "woman who uses her beauty and sex appeal to her advantage" ever since her debut in Tekken 1. Her ending in Tekken 6 reflects that pretty well, I think.
crypto hi even tho I love Anna Williams so much I agree. They should stop over sexualizing her and bring in her super badass side which I know she has...even Nina
@@ToxicOxie Her winning pose since T1 was shaking her breasts and ending it with some feminine pose. It's always been there, just more advanced with the evolution of technology.
They ruined both so much. Asuka had so so much potential but she became your typical anime girl with big tits and a bland personality. Lily got ruined, too. When they mentioned Eliza, they could've built a storyline to it. But no....
I think 1, 4, & 5(end even the non-canon Tekken Tag 1) had the overall best endings because they all give signs what is going to happen next for the next saga.
"Giant pandas, when they're inclined to run, which isn't often, are clocked at a top land speed of 20 miles per hour. They're not the fucking Roadrunner!" - Noah Antwiler.
I mained Leo back in T6 and actually liked Her, then as Tekken 7 does she/he/it didn't even stand a chance against the true villians of the series. The writers.
I love Kazuya's ending. Actually, to the point where I wanted it to be canon... or at least, semi-canon. And also, it seems fucking hilarious, but did you see how much laxative Law put on that pizza? Jesus Christ. Those poor buggers are gonna be in absolutely agony. Steve, in particular, might suffer a death, akin to Henry I. And Paul was trying to hold that in. Alsox2, I think it's a shame the Tag games aren't canon, but I suppose with all the retcons, half retcons, and so on, they actually could make them canon, and that'd be cool.
This is someone who is been playing since Tekken 1. I personally think it's sad that the Tekken lore was sacrificed for a few laughs and giggles with the nonsensical deter-mental decline of character building. When you have 95 percent of your roster that literally has nothing to contribute and basically just side filler then you know your story is screwed. You have all this characters with decent backstories and this the payoff of 25 years of Tekken, including Tekken 7? I don't know about you, but people got into fighting games not only because the fighting itself, but also intrigued enough of the setting of where they want to see their favorite characters go and how they progressed. And what we got in the end was only about 4 characters that only matter to the over arching plot and 1 guest character that was shoe horned so badly for the sake of plot convenience and gave the giant middle finger to all the characters that have been there since the beginning. Think about it for a minute; A guest character, from a rival company in the Industry, had more impact to your story then any of the in game characters. The rest nobody couldn't think of doing anything with them and the story writers just said, "Nah, it will be fine." I don't care how good of a fighting game is, but when your story actively parodies it's characters, then what investment is there to have to keep following the game itself (let alone a franchise?)
Its sad. And then they got the mortal kombat story syndrome and try to copy its style in Tekken 7 and then introduced so many plot holes and then all of a sudden try to make heihachi the hero out of no where.
@Veer Pal Yea but that's my problem. Every game up until that point made him look like the biggest asshole in the franchise. Now all of the sudden were suppose to sympathize because the shoe horned backstory. Sure he had to kill his wife but it doesn't explain all the other things he has done up until that point. Like putting jinpachi in a prison to eventually die there to control of the Company. ( Which if I'm not mistaken happened before the events of the tekken 7 fashback
Ok, I am going to be that guy. In Heihachi's ending, you would need a velocity difference of the order of at least 500 Km/h in the retrograde direction of the orbiting spacecraft to have the bodies plummet to earth. That puny push won't do jack shit, and pusing them straight down instead of retrograde even with 500 Km/hr wouldn't cause them to plummet to earth, it would only change the orbit.
In Tekken 6 Every story starts when you start to play story mode and as you go up the stages they gradually tell you parts of stories about the character you are playing. Ultimately leading to the Endings. So if you want to fully grasp the ending story, you have to play the character and read the story there first. Some characters have endings linked to other characters' endings or have alternate endings to other. Like Christie & Eddy have alternate endings and King, Armor King and Marduk have parts of the full story.
@@zemaculate they both kick a thug ass without trying and the dude had a weapon, she kick him so hard Anna send him flying busting up a wall, Wowing Nina on how impressed Anna can kick so hard why pay attention to little details when namco shown u the William aren't joke's when it comes to hand to hand combat
Bruh I don’t understand why they go over their everyday lives as if they didn’t just win the king of iron fist tournament and gained a shit ton of prize money. Like why don’t they ever do anything with that. The tekken 4 endings were way better because they actually explore that for the majority of the cast.
Well imo, from Tekken 1 to 3 it gets better over time, then it drops a bit in Tag 1, skyrockets a fuckton in Tekken 4, then decrease over time from 5 to 6, gets better in Tag 2 and... the piece of shits we got in Tekken 7. Well in short: Tekken 4 Tag 2 Tekken 5 Tekken 3 Tekken 2 Tag 1 Tekken 6 Tekken Tekken 7
@@shenelljohnson74 Mostly talking about T5-7, in which T5 had a solid arcade with decent endings. T6 had... these, not to mention a crappy 4 fight arcade mode. Then we have T7... Which is a complete joke when it comes to endings. It's "character episodes" are pathetic.
@@JunKazamaFan it really doesn't, every time she spoke I was just wishing they'd turn the music down so I could actually hear her. Her French voice sounds more stuck up and haughty which is what her character's like, not to mention it's consistent with the region that she supposedly from. I can understand how people might have an attachment to her original voice because it was the voice they were introduced to with her, but her French voice trumps that voice in pretty much every way.
I’m not quite sure I get this video. For the few good endings there were TMM just joked through it. Also apparently because Anna and Nina were sexualized in theirs any outfit that’s not a giant winter coat and snow pants is instantly them sexualizing that character. What then of Ganryu or any dude with a bare chest?
He's CringemanSWE. Don't take him too seriously. I'm not a hater, I think he has his good points. He's obviously a great Tekken player. But he's still dumb as fuck about a lot of stuff, lol.
Yes; 10 years ago different time. Since the Tekken 6 endings are already nonsensical and already going no where. I think the problem for him and from watching his other videos is that he wants to see the endings for what they are to the story. And some of these endings is literally only focusing on which angle can we get to see boobs and ass better. You'd be surprised how many people like to see Japanese media but are sick to death when the "fan service" is the focal point of the whole thing.
Ikr? She had so much potential. When I saw her in the Tekken 5 DR intro,I thought she was as wise as Jun. I thought that she's gonna do something about the Devil Gene like Jin tried. But instead they ruined her and also Lily.
11:47 Notice how Jin's Devil gene is completely removed. But, He dies. That's what his ending is. This probably means that only way he will get rid of his Devil gene is by death.
@@vnom1939 Did you noticed Jin in the bottem left when the temple was collapsing? Why would Zafina leave her there? He's very likely dead or she wants to kill him
AliK19 true but this is tekken heihachi has survived nearly everything , apart from the tekken 7 ending , and kazuya survived a cliff and a volcano. im 100% sure jin can survive a collapsing temple.
38:41 No bro, its not just you. There's a sub-set of teenagers&weird men that are really into chicks who act like prepubescent girls. Case in point, Twitch "Gamer" girls and Tiktok girls. EDIT:i just noticed that they used Indian Sitar music in Zafina's ending. Weird.
If you don’t understand the 4 endings revolved around Marduk & the 2 kings. The devs might have split it in 4 as each part would focus on a character and so that’s why the cuts are off-putting. It’s just a small story split in 4 parts.
He needed to absorb Jin's power in order to achieve the strength he wanted, but because he was defeated by the hands of Jin in TK4, that opportunity never came to be, I can understand why he can pissed at that.
@@zadenhomunculus8652 I disagree with him A LOT, but I would never call him grumpy old man... he's just 30ish my guy. He meant the story of Christie is that shallow.
Still so much better than Tekken 7's. The joke endings are better than T7's joke endings, and the serious endings are better than most of T7's serious endings.
@@shenelljohnson74 Uh no, I wrote this before even watching the video and the moment I've seen Tekken 7 endings for the first time I already decided that every other Tekken's endings were better.
@@phosepio. If you play through the main story, you can unlock character episodes, and if you complete those episodes you will see each character's respective ending.
Man,having those hot tekken girls and not showing fan service besides other things of course,is like having mishimas not fighting at all in the game.Stop whining, some of you.Every character need to show ALL his good assets, thats how u love it more.
I hear you. Characters in fighting games are designed to appeal to players in one way or another. If Anna and Nina want to show off, by all means, let them! It's not the only thing to appreciate about them, after all. Same goes for the rest of the lovely ladies. Nothing wrong with having some eye candy in the heat of battles!
Well it's always been like this in all fighting games. Look at soul calibur, virtua fighter, DOA etc.. I really can't be bothered on a topic like this.
These aren't as good as the previous ones but they're not as bad as Tekken 7 or as much as TMM makes it seem honestly maybe it's just me but he just looks for the smallest things to complain about
@@fightingmedialounge519 So, by your standards, Tekken 7 has better endings, right? I mean, it's pretty self explanatory who has lower standards, and it sadly ain't him but you.
@@Anonymous-qf4xn my standards you wouldn't know about since I never said what was a good ending? If your are curious, I would say tekkens endings range from recent to abysmal.
Seriously, all he did was complain and made childish, over exaggerated jokes, if you want to call them that, against almost every character because of their 'shit' endings. I get that Tekken 6's endings aren't exactly the greatest, but they aren't that bad. TMM's just exaggerating to try and be funny. Which really, he wasn't. He just came off as whiny and salty
Weisly Bernard Wijaya for real. He's been following this Japanese game series for like 25 years and now wants to go off about anime shit being in tekken. I mean wow, I didn't know a Japanese game having anime ish stuff put into it was so unnecessary. Smh
@@aaronclayton8958 yeah, I mean, what did he expect from a Japanese game title? Of course it's gonna have some cliche anime comedy tropes here and there. Though that's not to say it's a defense for these endings. They were pretty weak, yes, but they weren't like terrible. TMM was just being over exaggerated and bitchy
I mean was he wrong though can you honestly tell me that those endings were good? and honestly I would be whining too if the my favourite franchise that I've followed through for decades still shits out the same endings from 15 years ago.(plus the fan service thing is weird even if it is "culture")
