Some people would love to have their TMS pains or symptoms just turn off on a dime. In my experience, that doesn't happen often. Let's talk about how it usually goes.

More lovely wisdom, Dan. Thank you. I’m a little addicted to your short and encouraging videos. I love your advice of doing, say, Meditation, for the pure joy of Meditating and not for the outcome of ‘fixing myself’. My personality is exactly as you described…do I feel better yet?’ I have some work to do… I wish you well with your online group work. I have to be honest and say that it’s not a medium me and my nature would feel comfortable with but I’d like to support you in another way. When you publish your book, I would be thrilled to purchase a copy. Wishing you a lovely day full of joy and smiles. Warmest regards, Dianne 💐

Reacting negatively to the symptoms makes it worse because it reinforces that mental habit. But reacting with breathing, focusing on calm, being mindful of the emotions but not grabbing onto it, affirmations, and other "good mental habits" gradually soothes the symptoms, and builds up deposits and interest of good emotions/feelings within the mental bank.

Why does expanding activity cause symptoms stepping out youte comfort zone, why does adding on an extra activity cause set backs,
@PainFreeYou

Because your brain believes those activities are dangerous. Perceived danger creates or increases pain.

Hi Dan Thank you so much for all your work I’ve been doing it almost 2 weeks now and I’ve seen periods of improvement i can’t deny! albeit brief but I’ve even been singing to myself! I realise I have a few years of work to try and undo. Although I am in extreme fatigue and pain (CFS) worse i’m really battling the fear of this condition. I find visualisation of me being fit and well again is difficult as I just see myself sick in a wheelchair & limitations disability forever which is my fear. Please may I ask can you speak to - I am constantly trying to work out my symptoms in relation to how I am, trying to work out, if it’s something I’ve done physically or is it an emotion or something Else, it’s a constant analysing of my symptoms in relation to the condition. I am thinking perhaps it’s not linear as in you can get symptoms regardless of there being any correlation and they may just pop up and there’s no help in trying to work it out instead just let it be? Stop the whys? Is that correct? I’d be grateful for your view on this. Thank you ❤️❤️

No, you don't have to figure out the "why". How come? Because that doesn't get you any closer to the cure. This video explains: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g5N5z4tVNS0.html

@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 8 месяцев назад
When I recovered from fear, they stopped happening. It was a long process for me, but back then I had no idea all the things I was doing that kept the pain going. How my pain went may have no similarity to anyone else's. Focus on safety and yours will go too. DansFastStart.com

@@PainFreeYouyes understood sometimes movement or the way I sometimes enter the shower or whatever it is sends shock signals and that then starts to shake my legs for the back spasms to occur I guess I just got to keep fighting and doing stuff I fear with least fear possible to over come it
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 8 месяцев назад
It's not the movement that is the problem. The body is designed to move. It's the fear and the brains perception that movement is dangerous that is creating the spasms. @@Siddy641

You can't control it directly. But when you TEACH your brain that your body is not the problem, the symptoms can ease up on their own. Consistent messages of safety. Did you watch the Fast Start Playlist I recommended? The solution is in those videos. Watch, take notes, implement, repeat.

Do you think it can help with ulcerative colitis ?
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 3 года назад
Perhaps it can. I do know that when under stress, the digestive system is greatly suppressed. Chronic stress can allow things like UC to develop. There is literally no downside to a program that teaches the brain safety so the digestive and immune systems can return to balance and optimal performance.

Do you think there is a reason for the occasional recurrent pain? Does it have a function and the continuous reassurance of safety theory..?
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 3 года назад
Doesn't have a function or purpose. It just means the brain is perceiving some kind of danger so pain turns on. Emotional, work stress, relationship, mental stress, physical movement fears, etc. We don't need to figure this out theoretically. It's all about correcting the brain when it perceives danger so it can make a different decision and turn off the pain.

Well, I don't believe we need absolute safety in every aspect of being alive on this planet in the year 2021. But teaching our brains that we are safe feeling our emotions, thinking our thoughts and living in our bodies is where the solution lay. I still have tons of stress and there are universal dangers on this planet. But I don't have chronic pain.
