Tmux is arguably the best Terminal multiplexer in the world. Available in most Linux systems or on their packer managers, it's hard to beat. However, running locally, it looks quite bad to begin with, and its prefix and commands are rather inconvinient to say the least.
".tmux" or "oh my tmux" solves this instantly!

Thanks a lot for the videos! Do you use nvim as your main tool or do you time to time use VSCode or smth like that? Also, can you make a video (displaying the keys your typing) of your workflow on some project that includes: - tmux (working with multiple panes & windows) - git (branching merging etc) - debugging - multiple files (navigating around) Thanks:)

Hi! I have a Tmux basics video that’s centered around that, and my latest video does what you’re looking for with neovim. I have another one for git fugitive and all of them show file navigation. The one bit I don’t have publishes (yet!) is debugging with vim :) To your question- it’s my one and only and I don’t have any other installed and didn’t have for over 6 years now 😉

I’ve been coding in Go for well over 4 years now and very little Python so I guess naturally it isn’t. That said with Mason (nvim lsp manager) it’s one click away to get the Python lsp up and running. All that’s left is to pick one of the amazing Python support plugins and start running 😃

@@devopstoolbox I used tmux before zellij which can put all the output of a window-split into a nvim and can get the result much easier. Do you know how to make that happen using tmux? But I don't know how to store session after reboot.

i can not use small terminal, so i do not need split windows, i need only windows manager like i3/dwm, with fast zsh and terminal like st. windows manager has many workspace and simple keybinding

Tmux is far beyond a split pane manager! You can check my other video where you can see how it manages many workspaces, windows, resurrect from crashes. Also, the face that you split panes doesn’t necessarily mean you use a “small terminal”, it can be an IDE like vim on top and a small terminal line below, it can be a large screen splitter into two ssh instances, or documentation + workspace or lots of other setups! With easy zoom in and out you also doesn’t have to keep the split while working. It’s flexible in a way that I couldn’t see myself ever replacing

Hi! If you use the project in the video I’m pretty sure you get that by default. Eventually the config just sets the separators and makes them nicer than the default using 2 sections (left and right) check it out on GitHub! And let me know if you can’t find it

No way, my caps lock is already mapped to Esc for Vim, but pls don't pursuade me to map Ctrl to some key nearer to A, I might do that despite being fast with Ctrl+A. XD
