This is not headcanon. They literally use March of the Volunteers as their anthem in the actual mod. The New Order: Last Days of Europe Long Yun Yunnan
This was never quoted by Stalin There's no proof that Stalin ever said this, but even if he did, he would likely have been quoting a 1932 essay on French humor by the German journalist, satirist, and pacifist Kurt Tucholsky. Much like Rousseau did with his "great princess," Tucholsky quotes a fictional diplomat from the French Ministry of Foreign affairs, speaking on the horrors of war. "The war?" says Tucholsky's diplomat, "I cannot find it to be so bad! The death of one man: this is a catastrophe. Hundreds of thousands of deaths: that is a statistic!"
Ironic this anthem really tells you what Long Yun is going to do, and it's weird for an ethnic Chinese to know what the song is about in that flatted(?) tune Arise, ye who refuse to be slaves! -> Mobilising people to join his cause With our flesh and blood, let us build a new Great Wall! -> Sacrifice people to "protect" the nation whatever the cost (The tone is quite weird, like calling the people to sacrifice themselves for the nation) As China faces her greatest peril, (The tone is also a bit weird, like announcements from the goverment: The country is in danger...) From each one the urgent call to action comes forth. Arise! Arise! Arise! Millions of but one heart Braving the enemies' fire! March on! Braving the enemies' fire! March on! -> This scenario and that flatted tone, maybe referring to suicidal attacks? March on! March, march on!
I mean Chiang did enlist suicide bombing corps and asked Muslims in China to specifically form a bombing corp in China, whose aim was to use human volunteers to run under tanks and bombard them.
@@shinybreloom4027 they are called the "Dare to Die" division. Also Chiang flooded a portion of his nation to stop the Imperial Japanese Army from advancing, which killed many of his subjects. They said this event caused many to join the CPC to fight the KMT out of vengeance later on after WW2.
@@USSFFRU What? He wins. He crushes Germany the only way he possibly could, and his country survives the aftermath. Is he a good person? No. But he is literally the only person on the planet that can defeat Germany in a head-to-head fight.
@@thisisaname5589 At the cost of burning the entire planet over his hatred of the Germans. Other Russian Warlords can do what Yazov can do and remain as heroes of Russia. Komi, WRRF, Vyatka, Tyumen, Sveldorsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, People's Revolutionary Council, Chita, Irkutsk, Buryatia, Magadan, and Amur are all examples of relatively strong Russias that can still whoop Germany's Ass without burning the entire planet. What do you mean he's the only one on the planet that can defeat Germany? America has the economic hegemony, Japan has the Sphere, WRRF has the Military, Komi has the allies, Vyatka has the popular support, Magadan has America, Amur has Japan, Buryatia has the support of everyone, Irkutsk has the revanchism, what does Yazov have? Hate? Plus, Komi has way better modifiers and economic bonuses than Yazov can get, the WRRF has the military that Yazov would fucking kill to replicate, Vyatka and Chita has the popular support that Yazov would wish he had, Magadan and Buryatia have the American Backing he wishes he got. There's so many other Russias that can do what Yazov do yet leave the world out of Nuclear Hellfire + Bring Russia to the world stage as the Fourth Power. All Yazov does is "I WILL KILL THEM ALL EVEN IF THE WORLD MUST DIE FOR IT" and even HE realizes that his ideology is stupid in a post-nuclear war event. Omsk isn't Russia's only hope to beat Germany. It's *Russia's only hope if they want to burn the entire planet.*

If you study that history systematically, you will find that Mao is an idealist. He wants to create a world without exploitation and oppression, and everyone is completely equal. Therefore, he guarantees that all workers and farmers must get the same income, which leads many people to become lazy and live on welfare every day, It led to the Great Leap Forward and famine. You can say that he is unrealistic or too romantic, or even naive, but you can't say that he is not a humanist. It is because he is too humanist that led to what you said.
@@user-ou6kr8ym9s He lived wealthy, and he oppressed the people rather than helped them. He was corrupt, and he purged religion. Anyone who didn't obey him was killed and tortured.

I’m doing a roleplay play through of the Rise of Nations mod, and right now I’ve got China under a psycho and completely insane Wang Jingwei who went mad with rage when the Japanese committed an early rape of Nanjing in 1933. It’s now 1937, and Wang has declared the Great Trial against the Japanese, throwing millions of Chinese men, women and children at the Japanese soldiers and soon will begin research into nuclear weapons and...this song just matches so perfectly. I even photoshopped Wang Jingwei into Yazov’s uniform for shits and giggles.
it was made by a normal guy who was tortured by the KMT and didn't like them, sung by the general populace like Yellow River Cantana and Dadao Match before it was ever a CCP song
@@shinybreloom4027 further irony is that the one write the lyrics was persecuted by the said country and died due to the torture in cultural Revolution
He actually rules Yunnan during the first years because he overthrew Long Yun and locked him in prison. When Long escapes, he creates the NPA andstarts the war.
@@superdevton1137 Similar, but they use slightly different means for slightly different ends. Omsk develops weapons of mass destruction to annihilate Germany; they build eco and develop country in meantime. Long Yun is going full total war to drive Japanese from China here and now.
Kill anyone who isn't Chinese, kill anyone who collaborated with the Japanese, kill anyone who didn't help in the second sino-japanese war. Turn Nanjing into a ghost town by wiping out the entire population of Nanjing. (which is why Japan ends up just outright annexing Nanjing after winning since why not, it's a ghost town). And did I say kill people already?
Long Yun escapes from prison in Yunnan and creates the National Protection Army (Chinese Omsk) with the express purpose of ending Japan, this is what I know about the NPA
