You might not remember, but you've heard of a "Flux Capacitor" and you know that the time machine is a "cool" sports car. You have definitely seen clips of the Matrix. You know that in that movie, people live in a computer generated world and Keanu Reeves fights karate/kung fu. Certain things have permeated popular culture to the extent that they are simply just a part of existence, even if you haven't seen them. I've never seen Titanic, but I can tell ya 80% of what happened in it because enough people have seen it and they talk about things.

Yeah its totally possible. I honestly only got into them in 2017 because I thought the guy playing Spiderman was attractive. When I told my friend I wanted to see the next movie he was in (infinity war), she demanded I see the rest of the movies first, and the rest is history.

Tbh, I only watched the first and second iron man movie. Then I watched a few infinity war parts. Endgame was the only one that I actually finished. This is not so hard to believe, these people are kind of arrogant assuming everyone loves super hero movies.
