Yea, that was utter nonsense. Soon as I heard the fight was off, I would've fried the biggest stake with the tastiest beer. Not Ferguson... he's the type of guy to continue his weight cut after the fight was cancelled.
Someone needs to tell him that signing a contract to fight, then showing up to watch the fights instead after it falls through, doesn't constitute following your word. No one respects your commitment to reciving free tickets and watching a live show.
@armandocool97 alex and jiri aren't the type to use excuses. All the other short notice fights on the same card? Now that's a different story and that excuse will probably get used by someone further down. The card
Chandler constantly tries to create the light that people see him in (oh, I kept my word and I’m so honorable)and it’s totally narcissistic…anyway man those are the exact same glasses my dad wore in 1978
but who asked? the fact he thought Conor would keep his word the guy that pulled out of donating to Dustins charity after he got his sht pushed in, you thought he was going to keep his word lol
@@thegrimreapersbro ok i respect that but Conor is coming off a serious injury so I’d give him a break most fighters pull out many times throughout their career
Besides for the payday, I am surprise Chandler wants this fight so badly. Feels like even a rusty Conor is a bad match up for him and a favorable one for McGregor.
He waited a long time but was stupid not to make it in his contract to have a fail safe or to be paid while waiting or if a pull out happened. lesson learned make sure its writen next time
it's not even worth it all that, how much are you gonna earn fighting conor, 3 millions at most? fight gamrot and beat him and then call for islam it will be a very interesting fight. forget about conor.
@@runman85 he will have a chance of winning the belt, and get ppv points. i get that fighting conor is good for your bank account, but at what cost? he's been out for two years, and he's getting into 40, it's not like he's gonna make 10 millions fighting conor.
Michael Chandler is an extreme narcissist and definitely has main character syndrome, but also strikes me as a very good guy and I didn't think they were both interchangeable. (I give him a pass for being a juicehead because the sport is full of them)
