Beth and Alex are great friends of mine. I was so honoured to be there to celebrate and capture their love. Their dreams came true getting married at Cairnwood Estate in Pennsylvania. I hope you enjoy this film :)

Everything was perfect about this wedding. You did a great job Dave. I love the way you capture the vows.I would've liked for them to look at each other while saying their vows instead of reading them from a cue card.

Hello dave, I watch your videos very often from France. I really like what you do, at my small level I like to make videos. This video is my favorite, the bride and groom are adorable. No LUTS...just adobe premiere colour wheel. i don't actually do much...a little bit of contrast and vignette. i do all custom white balance in camera.

Your wedding videos are stunning! I'm shooting my first wedding soon and just wondering, how do you manage to capture everything when filming solo? Also, any tips for audio? At the moment I only have access to one wireless mic and one directional mic - will they do the job?

Thanks Helen :) I am just always watching what's going on and love using the canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS lens - it's so versatile! also yes those mics should be fine. I use a ZOOM H4N to capture my audio...i typically attach mic to the groom and also get a direct feed from the DJ sound board. would love to see your wedding film when you're done editing it

Hi Dave! Would you be open to sharing your process for backing up your footage from the start of the day to the end? Do you keep everything on it's cards until you dump them in numerous places? Or do you dump footage as you go on? I have not been able to find a flawless process when it comes to transferring footage! HELP :)

Hi Stephanie, I shoot on 4 different cards throughout the day. I break the day up into sections: prep footage, ceremony, wedding party photos, reception...each on different cards. At the end of the night I dump everything onto my iMac and then I back up on a few different external hard drives. I hope this helps :)

Also, I am not shooting in 4k so right now I'm editing on my MacBook Pro, is it hard for you to not be able to edit in other locations? Do you feel stuck since you're working on a desktop? I will be switching to iMac next season!

4 64s - on average i have around 80gb-100gb per wedding in raw footage.

i am also not shooting in 4K - maybe in a year or two but still using 1080p. i have a laptop as well and can edit in other locations if i'm away from home but i truly prefer the bigger screen and keyboard/mouse set up for editing. i'm way more productive and quick on the iMac vs the macbook pro
