Wonderful! Bud always comes across as the most perfect gentleman you could ever wish to meet, apart from me of course!

Interesting that contestant #2 was asked about resigning a title. His father, the Earl of Sandwich, disclaimed his title for life in 1964. John Montagu had to wait another thirty years until his father died, to claim the title.

The real Earl of Sandwich gives the sanitized reason his family member invented the sandwich ( 'he was busy working with the Admiralty and didn't have time to eat') whereas in Britain the story usually goes that it's because he was gambling so much and didn't want to leave the games table... either might be true, but it's kinda nice the descendent goes with the one that puts his ancestor in a good light.

Viscount Hinchingbrooke, John Montagu, must have got a firm impression of American intelligence as everyone questioned him as if he were an international SANDWICH expert because of his family title.

Agreed. You’re lucky if you find anybody who speaks proper grammar these days. If I hear “Her and I” one more time, I’ll scream. 😵‍💫

I knew the head of the mint could not be number two because there isn't a half ounce of silver in any coin that isn't a solid struck coin.

I had the exact same reaction as Barry Nelson regarding Kennedy approving his own portrait. I would have never guessed that Kennedy had approved the portrait for something else prior to his death and they used that same portrait to create the Kennedy Silver Dollar. Sneaky!

i'm still a little queasy when Bud tells the contestants about their waiting carton of cigarettes even though I grew up with cigarette commercials. I like the addition of panelists and contestants talking on camera at the end of the program.

A delightful episode. So nice not to have Polly Bergen trying to prolong her camera time or Orson Bean's ill attempts at humor.

I loved Orson Bean on Dr. Quinn, but he was HORRIBLE on this show!

Polly Bergen was a Real DUMBA$$!...how she got anywhere is a mystery

Orson Bean was fine (I thought he was at least funny whenever he wasted time during questioning), but Polly Bergen's incoherent rambling was beyond frustrating to watch!

Poston is such a name dropper, Steve Allen, Steve McQueen. I guessed the heir of Sandwich. We have a shop closely. I've entered, but never ordered there.

You can tell the times have REALLY changed. How often today do you see a consistent(s) on a game show receive a cartoon of cigarettes as the name Winston?

As witty as the panel is they all failed to ask the U.S. Mint artist if he brought any samples.

Unbelievable! I thought for sure the third contestant under the "horse" was actress Sandra Dee, and I couldn't figure out why nobody was calling her out. They could be twins!
