On the last group I assumed #3 was the author just because her clothes looked custom made, as she could afford them because she was a successful cookbook author.
You're right. But, Tom Poston also called it a, "Paradox," which is a different category, but possibly an ok definition for, "Jumbo Shrimp." Btw, I hope Kitty ran out after the show and got that cookbook,
The Joie Chitwood (please note the spelling; Hugh I believe commented on it when making his choice) was actually Joie Chitwood Jr. His father founded the Chitwood Motor Thrill Show, also known as the Hell Drivers. Joie Sr. had five units operating across the country for over forty years. Joie Jr. and his brother Tim participated in the shows and took over the business when their father retired. Joie Chitwood III is president of Daytona International Speedway and former president of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
I honestly-- HONESTLY-- don't have time to make spelling corrections. I run 5 RU-vid channels and 3 Facebook groups, and I'm working on a book about What's My Line. It's great to note the corrections in a comment, but please don't expect me to make these corrections on an ongoing basis. I don't even have time to WATCH these shows, let alone make minor corrections to the descriptions. I'll change this one, but as a rule, I'm not going to be spending on time on this, sorry.
+To Tell the Truth (CBS) I guess the comment "please note the spelling" came across as asking for a correction, which was not my intent at all. It's just that it is an unusual spelling that was commented on in the show. I do in fact realise how busy you are and am quite grateful for it. It keeps RU-vid from being just the den of Pewdipie imitatotrs and that's a good thing (although a better thing would be if you were making the kind of money from this that he is ;-) ).
Oh, my mistake then-- I HAVE gotten plenty of comments in the past from other folks directly expecting me to make very minor corrections to the descriptions, which I'd love to do, but one really has to draw a line somewhere! Thanks for making the note here. And please feel free to note any other corrections, as long as you don't mind that I probably won't have time to update the info. :)
It was great seeing Hugh Downs on the panel. Before he went to the Today Show, he used to be the host of the game show Concentration. I think he did others but I forget. Joie #1 was a babe. Thanks for the video.
Please remove this moronic troll from the comments section. Unfortunately today's society is full of pathetic losers intent on ruining other people's enjoyment of social media.
Here's a link with some interesting background information about Imposter #3 in Game Two, Georg Olden. He had quite the varied background. www.aiga.org/medalist-georgolden/
First game, I already discounted 1 and 3 purely because you'd probably need (respectively) a special harness and a roll-cage at minimum installed within the stunt car.
To tell the truth site -- PLEASE - what happened to the Jan 28 1963 episode with Jay Sebring? I've been waiting and waiting and you just jumped from mid Jan to March 1963?
I'm going to give you three guesses why I skipped those shows, and the first two don't count. If I had copies of those shows, I'd have posted them. I wouldn't just arbitrarily skip shows I have copies of. Really. If I skip an episode, it's because I don't have it. Hopefully I'll be able to fill in what I missed at the end, but that's a LONG way off, and it depends on someone with a larger collection being generous enough to share what they have with me. I do the best I can-- I'm just a fan who wants to share this material, I'm not a site, not a company, not a staff of people.
+To Tell the Truth (CBS) I appreciate your response! I'm so sorry if I sounded harsh in any way and I did not realize you were not an official site. You're a fantastic fan, and thank you for posting all these great episodes! We have so little on Jay, and the fan site I run on Facebook was so hopeful when we saw the specific dated episodes going up. . Many thanks for all you've done here! :)
No, there's nothing "official" about me. :) In fact, I had to fight tooth and nail to keep this and the What's My Line channel from being removed from RU-vid due to totally false copyright claims from the company that owns the Buzzr channel that the other person on this thread decided to bring up. They've been showing the same episodes over and over and over again ad nauseum, not bothering to transfer literally hundreds of episodes sitting in their vaults. If they're running the episode you want to see, that's great, but it's a pure stroke of luck considering that they're NOT running 400 of the other TTTT shows in their library. In any event, you're very welcome, and I hope you get to see the episode however you get to see it. I can't support or endorse Buzzr/Fremantle in any way, and certainly will never be posting anything that was recorded off that channel. Never. They're the worst.
