Thank you for this, I've always felt self concious about sharing my art and I've struggled with being consistent with making art. I'm going to try and make a routine for myself and start sharing my art a bit more :)
today was my first time coming to your channel and i was just thinking of how i made a big mistake studying art and was thinking about going out to study law as soon as i got the chance but after listening to this am gonna suck it up and put every ounce of passion i had from the beginning in my art without regret and hopefully ill come back here in two years with more positivity and comment something good..... you don't know it but you just saved me and thanks
I think it's sensible to think whatever you go into won't necessarily be an easy path, but you should focus on something (in the long run) that you find fulfilling and not end up in a position where you're resentful and upset (whether that be an artist or a lawyer). All the best to you!
I only got the "guts" to study art at 26. I had already earned BS, MS and midway through PhD in Biology before going to art and architecture schools earning BFA and Batch. At 65 got an MFA in painting. Some of us are just dull or slow. I say, do what you love and never look back.
Hi Tomas, this video is very helpful thank you! I got an offer of UAL MA Fine Art at Chelsea College of art, how is Fine art major at Chelsea, do you have any ideas?
Thanks for watching 😎 I don't know, but it's probably a similar structure to my UAL course so you can watch "What I did in year 1, 2 and 3" videos if you want an idea. Best thing to do though is talking to students via Instagram or something and you'll get honest opinions.
