gasp Charem...LIVES?! Well, yes, sort of. I haven't abandoned YT, but I don't currently have the equipment to make movies anymore. x3 However, I did cook some stuff up on a friend's compy, so anyways...
This is a fan game known as Toad Strikes Back, made by Thunder Dragon and downloadable here: www.mfgg.net/in... . It's VERY well made, and combines elements of SMB2 (grabbing items/enemies from above), SMB3 (enemies, general gameplay mechanics), SMW ('stored' items), SMW2: YI (the bosses), and SM64 (hub world, collectible items in stages). Whew!
My favorite part of this game HAS to be the bosses...custom sprites, done in a Yoshi's Island style, and each requires a different strategy. So I figured...heck, I'm putting together a boss rush! So here's part 1 of it!
Sadly, I couldn't find a game cam that worked for this; they all didin't detect the game when it was running. (Probably has something to do with Game Maker games, as this is not the first time I've run into this problem.) I finally found a program that worked, but then I learned that my friend's odd sound setup made it so the computer could not record its own sound. =p
But hey, the video looks great! :D And as for the sound, I've put in a lot of different Mario-themed remixes, mostly from Newgrounds.com. I spent a lot of time choosing the music, to make up for the lack of sound, so I hope it helps make the lack of sfx bearable!
Also, I came up with the enemy names myself, since they don't seem to be mentioned or listed anywhere in-game or out-of-game. Hope that's okay, Mr. Original Creator! ^^

Indeed, it's quite surprising when I learned that plugin and ones like it can bring them back! Which means RU-vid never deleted the Annotations database, they just disabled it... Which feels even more needless than deleting it. (I could at least understand that decision to save space...)

@szlane Your question was "What the name of the song?" and the description does show that. Most of the music was found on Newgrounds. Go to the website, select the Audio Portal tab, then try typing the song names I gave into the "Audio Search!" a little ways down the page. Or just search for the Author names I gave as well. ...Did you even try typing "SMW Level Orchestrated Reone662" into Google? If you did, you'd pretty quickly notice the song on Newgrounds is the seventh link down.

The bosses would be more interesting if: Big Boom Boom moved while the rocks fell. Tough Tubba Blubba had more health. Hot Fever had a more complex path. Shy Guy of the Deep had Cheep cheeps help him. Pipey's Plant shot fire. Birdo shot fire and eggs.

@@dawoof256 That's awsome! Honestly, this was always just a silly little project a younger-me put together, and I never once thought it would get the amount of attention and nostalgia it has. I feel I've produced better content since these vids, but they remain my most popular videos, old and semi-broken (seeing as annotations have been removed) as they are. I semi-occasionally get comments like yours expressing nostalgia over the videos. Perhaps I should consider remaking these at some point.

@jmario232 His castle is a pain indeed. The lava section was intense. However, as long as you're quick to pick up the Bob-ombs and toss them back at him, his attacks (which are frequent) are mostly nullified in the process.

@jmario232 Pipey's the hardest boss in the game imo. This is because getting hit while carrying a block makes you lose it, delaying you from hitting him and leaving you open for more damage.

You know, I decided to challenge myself and see if I can do the bosses without getting hit. It is not that hard once you learn the attack patterns (though Wart was hard as hell, even regularly beating him.

I'm fine with helping people find some of the music, but you act like I'm -required- to help you or something, which I'm not fine with. I'd prefer people be intelligent enough to know how Google works, and at least make some effort into using it...that's all.

@gamecrazy1750 The only reason I can think of is that regular Boom Booms do not appear anywhere in this game (while Koopas do). So if the designer had used a regular Boom Boom there, people would've wondered why they could never fight a Boom Boom anywhere.
