I guess the bullet stayed in Toadies back for years it wasn't mentioned again until years later when he injured himself after rescuing Nell from a Bouncy Castle which left him in a wheelchair for a while. He finally had the bullet removed as able to walk again.
They couldn't remove the entire bullet because it was too close to his spinal cord. If they removed it then, he could've not only paralysed him but it could've killed him entirely. He actually did die for moments in the 2007 season premiere when his heart stopped for mere seconds and the doctor actually pronounced 'time of death' but a thought or memory of Steph in his mind, his heart started to beat again.
Ugh... just abysmal acting and cinematography. They should have had the gunshot occur off-camera and leave it up in the air as to who got shot by whom. We would have been spared from Maloney’s woeful acting, the cringe-inducing dance around the G classification, and it would have made for a better cliffhanger too. And I absolutely couldn’t stand the Kinskis, Bishops, or the Timmins families. I must have been on a masochistic streak when watching the show during this era. 😅 I love how cynical the sudden killing of the Bishops were. The producers knew the audience would have eagerly danced on their watery graves. 😜
@@adamknight7904 : To clarify, I love Harold, but can't stand David, Lil, and Serena. Lil's mum Svetlanka (or whatever her name was) was an absolute hoot though!
