when he said that he couldn’t talk about his emotions without crying, I related so hard 😭 I cry when I’m angry and it’s so frustrating bc people seem to think that I’m sad when it’s the total opposite. my blood is LITERALLY boiling because I have to contain everything, all the screaming, inside of me
At 6:52 when toast said: "Its my number one weakness, alongside bullets" lol...chat be like: "and knives toast, knives slice bread" someone else said: "Yo, Toast not bullet proof??"
Twitter sucks so much... They should follow Pewdiepie's example here. I always thought this was the best decision he ever took. I feel really bad for Toast getting in this situation because he is just being himself and some people cant take a joke
I’m crying because this is so unfair to attack Toast. This is a man who has always had the best intentions when interacting with others. He puts everyone before himself and it’s taking a toll on him, because attackers on the internet are taking things from his past out of context!
I hate all of you. Making toast feel bad about himself, TOAST. If you watch Toast you know he’s a great guy, all of his jokes are just jokes, I can’t believe he’s getting attacked for this. All of you STOP like right now
For real it’s so obvious he was just making jokes, he’s a great and kind person. And he’s not even the one who tells people about the good things he does, his friends are the ones who always say it, so you know it’s true. He jokes a lot but it’s clear how much he cares about people in every situation I mean random example in Among Us , alllll the time he’d easily figure out who the culprit is but he would still give them a chance to win cuz he cares more about the person having a good time. Or if anyone wants a deeper example we could talk about how supportive he was towards the girls in the Fed situation. Or a shit ton of other examples. It just makes me upset that a genuinely good person is suffering cuz of assholes who twist things out of context for clout
@@amunetxo627 Something I learned recently and you could add in your list of examples is that Toast talked Aria out of commiting suicide last year. She tweeted about it on Toast birthday
yeah they have so much free time so why don't they jxxk themselves instead of trying to be racist(they just don't know themselves). trying to see themselves as good person pissed me off. i swear social media do more bad than good
This man made so many people happy and laugh during the quarantine era. Seeing him cry, just breaks my heart. He also teared up because his friends are getting attacked too. He loves his friends more than himself.
Twitter is trash. Been saying it's literally a bunch of idiots and toxicity. Personally i think once you've made something of yourself. Just delete it, honestly nothing on twitter really matters. Just people trying to feel important smh Also the emotional thing when talking feelings, I do remember is pretty legit, remember one of the OTV videos dude broke down simply because he was telling everyone he was greatful for having them around. Was one of the Christmas ones. Maybe 2018 or 2019
i like that mindset of lol. just extend your platform on twitter and then delete it when its big enough, nothing good comes from twitter, besides (maybe) the memes.
i’ve been a fan for 8 months (Among Us era) but i never saw Toast how these underdeveloped people think he was. And people saying he advocated rape when he almost cried when he failed to protect lily and yvonne from fed. This broke my heart seeing him this way. Toast doesn’t deserve these hates. 💔
I can't bare to see Toast cry. I hate everyone responsible for him feeling like this. And the fact that he has a hard time expressing his emotions is so relatable. 💙💙💙💙
You can really tell Toast has grown so much, because I feel like old Toast would just dismissed this whole thing and call it bullshit(which I agree) but to actually address the situation and show people his raw emotions on how this is affecting him while on stream takes a lot of courage. He's def one of my most fav streamer and person ❤️
I’m glad toast didn’t do what others youtubers did and just gave into the cancel culture, more RU-vidrs like toast should stand up to it because it’s disgusting they literally try to ruin somebody life over an edgy joke they made years ago.
I may be late but I think he doesn't want us sad he made a joke while crying making us laugh rather than us being sad he is a great person who cares for his friends
These kids these days are way too sensitive, like what toast said in his responds to the tweets. He got racism thrown at himself from fellow classmates growing up, like almost all Asians. Him making innocent jokes that are not towards one specific person doesn’t harm anyone. He always tries to make his friends laugh. Also the pedofiel comment was just unnecessary, because it is illegal and he drew it, like his friends drawing killing someone or doing hard core drugs. It’s so sad to see him getting effected by this so much, I just hope his friends doesn’t get forced to cancel him because of ‘their fans’. Toast is like the kid that is smart af, but just tries to make everyone laugh by joking around, and not getting the main attention anyways.
YOU DARE SAY ANYTHING ABOUT TOAST PERSONALITY, I DONT EVEN WATCH TOAST STREAMS BUT HE SEEMS SO GENUINE, IF YOU CANT UNDERSTAND HIS SARCASM I DONT KNOW WHAT KIND OF DEPRESSION YOU ARE IN
You are allowed to be Human you are allowed to joke. do not capitulate to the social puritans. Don't back down from the commissar because he threatens to destroy you for disagreeing with him or talking to people he does not like. If a joke misses the mark it gets no laughs, that is the end of it.
...wow...they broke Toast a little...you know there's something wrong when you make a hard asses like Toast emotional. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but emotional for something that is so stupid is wrong.
i hate how every entertaining and nice ytber / streamer got cancelled over something so fucking stupid, im so lost .. when youtubers or streamer ACTUALLY commit a real crime what did they do? they dont fucking care cause what? they dont get enough attention so instead they went against these type of content creators
This is just like pewds but did u see his friend leaving him did u see him dying nooooo so toast will just be like that us watcher who still have some brain left would still watch him his friends his true friends will stick with him n it will just pass
4:43 has a comment from someone named "violet". I'm not sure if it's real, but it's not cool for anyone of Toast's fans to make fun of rape victims and give death threats. In fact, no human of any fanbase should do that ever. I hope that wasn't a real comment...
Let me tell you the story of what happened. I was in that thread arguing with that violet person. She had been tweeting about how toast and his friends should kill themselves. It was me and a couple of other people trying to tell her that it wasn't a good thing to say that. It was pretty civil on ohr side but then all of a sudden some random account barged into the argument and said that she deserved to get raped. When we saw that we all stopped arguing and started calling that person out for saying that. He wasn't a toast fan, because all the toast fans who were trying to defend toast defended the girl who was trying to cancel him. Cuz we know when something is wrong and we aren't afraid to call that out. Toast talks about it aswell at 4:22.
I hope Toast doesn't take this to heart and vent it with other big streamers. This cancel culture is pathetic and their message is very tailored for what they're trying to accomplish. Which is to stain the public image of popular figures because they said something that they don't support, regardless of it was a joke or even someone else saying it. Honestly during this era, if Toast was black, he probably would never be targeted. LongBeachGriffy (Check out his channel!!!! I love this guy!) makes very blunt points with his opinions with a bit of comedy mixed in, yet I don't see any flack towards him. But because Toast is not black or transgender or even homosexual (nice booty Toast, no homo), he is targeted just because someone got even the slightest bit offended. The youth of this generation have such short temper and are too easily offended it's really disgraceful for me as a boomer to watch. “Hard strong , strong , , and hard .” - G. Michael Hopf
This whole thing is b.s. Now we have people crying over everything. Next all comedians are gonna be cancelled. People need to grow TF up and stop being sensitive.
American culture has turned into a joke, we are becoming weaker and softer. Doesn't mean I condone using any hateful or insensitive language but to take something like the video he played and in the context that it was played and turn it around to try and ruin this mans career is actually sad. This younger generation was brought up in such a spoiled fairy-tail land type of way that they want the world to go exactly the way they want or else they will do whatever they can to hurt the people who feel or act otherwise. Buckle up everyone, this is just the beginning and its only going to get worse.
To be fair, I agree with Toast AND you here. Like, you're gonna get hate no matter how minorly edgy the jokes you make are. That's just a given. I agree with Toast that these people getting offended are overreacting and are being complete idiots, and I also agree with you that you have to expect hate for edgy and dark humour, its bound to happen
