The simple truth is the group dynamic really matters. If you throw someone like XqC into the mix it becomes a ton of yelling and chaos. It causes people who are a bit more quit not be able to be heard. Some people just have louder personalities, TrainWreck included, and when someone's competitive nature kicks in it can be hard to mesh well with people who are simply playing casually.
Poki always wants to vote toast out and her logic is there's always a chance toast big brain plays them like??? That's what makes among us fun to watch
I remember it being a stunning change of pace from Toasts lobbies to the pro style tournament scoring and playstyle of the Train lobbies. Even the Hafu morning lobbies were serious in comparison to Toasts lobbies despite Steve and DK being absolute memes 80-90% of the time. The Hafu morning lobbies had set rules to keep it from becoming too sweaty while the Toast lobbies naturally went the other way and lost tension, became a social game at times...Think that casual atmosphere lent itself to hyping up the drama moments and could see from multiple perspectives how the people in Toasts lobbies cultivated that vibe. Interesting to get a glimpse into the casting.
Yeah i can understand why he didnt wanted to invite like train, xqc and ninja again because they will be too competitive, toast lobby more on for content and more friendly and little sprinkle of trolling
Ngl the beginning when they took among us seriously Toast’s lobbies were as interesting as Hafu lobbies. Now Hafu lobbies are better to watch and honestly usually more funny lol
The thing is they can't take it seriously in otv among us because they already know when they are sus 💀 so they are still too good that they have to troll
I think I really came to love the social aspect of among us rather than the sweating. I still enjoyed the fact that, as CC’s have said, Sykkuno is the bridge that connects people. The fact that he made his own small lobbies and played with Vtubers, GTARPers, somewhat well known CC’s and had mixed them together? It was fun to watch and refreshing to see after solely watching Toast and Hafu lobbies so much.
What's funny is that the replies to Toast's tweets are telling him to "stay in his little lane", and not bring himself into the story. But they failed to comprehend that OTV were the ones who were dragged by that uncall-for statement.
that's all these train fans. they neglect to understand that xqc and train tactically used sexual harrassment allegations to deflect and redirect the conversation away from gamba. then go on to blame everyone else like hasan and poki for no damn reason when they weren't involved in the cover up situation just the gamba ban push and that's how you see their real focus on intent. it isn't about bringing to light the truth, it's about bringing down miz, poki, and hasan. miz just happened to have real dirt on him.
@@aweshumandy tbh I'm just here for the show just like Toast and eatin' my popcorn. That being said sure miz had dirt on him but miz got some skeletons in his closet as well. If he's gonna come in swinging he better be ready for the counter. (if you really wanna know what I mean... Ludwig and Charlie (moistcritikal) covered it pretty well).
That wasn't even sweaty, that was straight up toxic. You can be sweaty and have sportsmanship, XQC was sweaty but he definitely never ever had the latter in an Among Us lobby lmao
It wasn’t even about being sweaty since 5up is used to playing in sweaty games (morning lobby) and he’s obviously totallh cool with that. It was just plain toxic, and that’s why left.
Just saying, if train was salty about the not getting invited often, he could had asked his own friends to join his among us lobbies, and be a leader of a lobby like toast and hafu...unless he doesn't have friends...
@Wei Li liked the lobbies or were those the clouted and biggest lobbies at the time? I mean he may have been genuine but let's be honest they included alot of friends bc everyone wanted in on them at the time. I'm sure people were chomping at the bit to play these lobbies. they even got pewdiepie and AOC to play with them. also got invited to play with Jimmy Fallon (poor Toast)
I think Trainwreck also mentioned that Toast's lobby was one his favorite so I can see why he felt hurt if he wasn't invited. I remember him saying once that he really liked playing crew and figuring out the imposter and that Toast's lobby has the perfect balance of chaotic energy and sweats for him.
toast tried to balance it out every time. train's personality probably made it hard for him to fit him in considering some of his closer friends who were regulars in the lobby were also pretty loud
aw that's too bad. i remember watching a lobby that included train and the lobby was super casual but he was kinda sweaty. i dont know much about his personality but he was giving the impression that he was getting frustrated not being able to get a word in edgewise and i just felt bad. bc toast lobbies *can* get frustrating to watch when you see that the same 5 people survive til the end and some people are dominating the convo while someone is trying to explain their part. i would have liked to see one with train and other more serious players like hafu 5up and janet.
I mean, if he cared enough he could have chilled out and kept playing with them. But if youre being super sweaty and aggressive in the chillest lobby, obviosly youre not gonna mesh well and end up being out. I think thats pretty understandable.
I think more than his hard work, Toast really gets tilted easily when someone shit talks and name dropped their org. After the Fed incident they really tried to build up again the brand for OTV. As much as possible they dont want to dragged OTV for their individual "controversies/drama".
he was probably also trying ti divert the conversation from him doing gambling streams so he wouldn't get shit on for that anymore lol. NOT basing this on any info this is not a factual comment just throwing this out here as a loose opinion.
It was like toast, sykkuno, Rae, corpse. Toast is the only OTV member lol. The other regulars weren't OTV members. Rae, fuslie, tinakitten, peterpark. Maybe it's the 100 Thieves lobbies
Peter Park was OTV when he played with them and then he switched to 100T (which he still belongs to) . Sykkuno and Corpse are not in any org. LilyPichu is OTV same with Toast, Pokimane and Yvonne, and Fuslie, Tina and Rae are 100T. Blau is no org as well I think. Abe also used to play with them and he have no org. I think it was pretty balanced honestly so not 100T lobby.
majority, if not all, of the lobbies are hosted by toast so it is an otv lobby if we're going with the orgs. also, when among us started, rae is the only one that is from 100T
You can tell how different each lobby is and I feel like most people playing and watching the among us videos prefer calm people, that don’t take the game too seriously and honestly just get along well. I remember not really enjoying certain videos because of how toxic some of the games got, so it’s understandable from a watchers point of view why toast would choose certain people over others.
The funny part to me is train wrecks played with them at least a dozen times. Now he may not have got into the prime time lobbies but during their late night binge sessions he was there quite a bit. And after he always gushed about how fun the lobby was and how chill it was.
From the way I see it, being included in an OTV/Disguised Toast/Hafu Among Us lobby is already a privilege that no one else can have or take. But since Toast and Hafu has been laying low in playing Among Us and do it on a casual weekly basis is understandably the best decision they've made. Casual and Competitive gamers don't really mix well.
Train trying everything possible to divert attention from gambling on twitch. Then again probably normal as he's trying to secure his millions in sponsor money
@@paulsad7624 also never saw the clip, but throwing otv in with everything liek that....idk feels like a red herring? and most likely, trying to add something random to end on a different note. so i dont think the black listing thing was said with any insecurities or whatever, just a light jab spurr of the moment. or maybe trying to jab at poki through OTV
@@paulsad7624 I would. I wouldn’t call a grown man who basically cries that the cool kids wouldn’t let him sit at their table(among us lobby) secure in his own self image.
What's good about Toast's moves are his clear intentions of simply creating interesting content for his viewers - because its what he likes and it is his job. That's why he never reveal DMs for respect nor actively react and involve himself in any dramas (although he definitely knows tactically that it could one way or another, skyrocket his viewership).
He's just mad Toast can't invite him to the more clouted group. Maybe if he promised Toast to be chill he might have been invited just like how xQc was eventually.
@@Krispyy98 poki would also always ask toast to invite xqc. because xqc would dm her on discord and she can't help but cater to the biggest streamers for clout so she asks and toast can't say no to poki
@Wei Li Yes he was worse. Only Toast among us video I find hard to watch because of how insanely unpleasant xqc got. But even him got chill after a while and got invited back when he behaved. Thats the point, if Train was chill he would have been invited more
maybe it’s cause i’m not a train viewer but anytime he shits on otv he brings up not being invited to among us lobbies anymore. like sir if you don’t fit their vibes then you just don’t idk what to tell you 😭
I don’t think it’s just otv or toast blacklisting train. I would say 99% of the viewers/commenters were screaming and hoping train and xqc to never get invited again to toast’s among us lobby because the vibes is just not the same with them in.
I feel like Train was just trying to start as much drama as he could to try bury the Slicker drama, since that had prompted a lot of people to call for banning gambling on Twitch which would lose him millions of dollars a month.
I agree he had his back against the wall because he didn't want to lose his big pay day. And he just decided to swing for the fences. It didn't work out for him but 🤷🏿♀️
Thinking about it, the personality composition really is what kept my interest in his among us videos going for so long. I’d usually dip out if a trend like that after a couple of weeks but I watched the whole way this time, and I think that’s to do with the (now apparent) thoughtfulness behind the people in the lobbies. If train was a regular it would have been a bit too intense for me. He was good sometimes but his energy was a bit much personally, and in the lobbies with xQc and more likeminded people he was much more entertaining because people could match his energy.
Bro you know how hard is for toast to invite people? Among us have limited people and the number of people who wanted on toast lobby is big, also toast need to think about his friend, if he invite someone who in different vibes it only makes his friend uncomftroable, so lets say if he invite someone like ninja that too competetive vs someone who wanted to have fun and maybe trolling here and there and get some content it not gonna be working
If you kinda squint, current OTV is like the opposite of Disney. Disney: Wholesome exterior with child friendly content, behind the scenes stars are actually feeling exploited and using drugs to cope OTV: Can't make a single video without saying "cock", everyone seems to actually care about each other and prioritize emotional and mental health
NGL. 2 of my all time fave Toast quotes comes from the Among Us era. 1) Chop them off! Chop them off and send them to me! 2) I saw someone faking dragon. Honorable mention quote, not said by Toast, but from his lobby: Babushka Not sure if Train could make much content from a Toast lobby. Doubt if Toast would be as successful if he joined Train's lobby.
I remember the time when Toast actually started to fight with X (X attacked toast) and it got aggressive. I think when someone starts to attack you personally over a GAME, then it needs to stop. Some people are just way to competitive
I think Train just like to hop in and spice up things and changes things up for himself and have fun expirience, create content and like everybody but nobody is willing to say it farm clout, but I would argue its just way different communities that can Discover each other People say otv are casuals playing for fun trolling but then day Toast is best player of all time with Insane brainpower knowing everything before anything happens He is a True guy person talk with him and youre good but we hold his ground in combative way
Toasts among us lobbys really do not get enough credit for helping give voices to women and minority streamers and that has kind of been bugging me for a while.
Train kept referring to PG13 streamers as messed up but OTK aren’t PG13 at all. He literally just wanted to group OTV, Rae etc into the drama just because he doesn’t like being left out or ignored…
and the thing is, there is nothing wrong with PG13 content if people enjoy it. i mean...bruh, is that even an insult?? and i dont think loud and toxic is what we can call "mature", its more like immature to me.
Not really drama, more like just life itself but i noticed that OTV and the roomies hardly ever stream together lately. Is it because of the same reason you don't see Toast and Miyoung doing content together anymore? Like why she removed the background plushies, why Toast went on a self-contemplating Sasuke solo-arc in japan and so on? Just hope the friction heals over quickly and we can go back to good ol otv & friends times 😓
It's understandable that if someone calls you out PUBLICLY you have all rights to respond/defend yourself publicly and don't need to explain yourself. It's literally as Asmon once said about himself, altho completely different scenario. If someone makes public statement about him or video directed at him, and it's a person that normally asks him not to react to their content, he has all rights to ignore the person asking for no-react since the video is about him to begin with and he has all rights to speak out for himself. And same goes for everyone. Your name got dragged in. You have all rights to respond in your own name
Yeah. Train and toast are gigabrain people, theres this one among us game that look like they were both pissed at each other or so look like they were. Cause train knew already it was toast and toast(imp) was telling everyone to vote for train, cant remember but I think they were playing with tina, valk and the rest.
Toast knows how to do it 🤣 be grabbing snacks when i see twitch or streamers drama too except for that one thing that happened with lily that was pretty sad. This shit hilarious
Those lobby’s would have the most views so yea as funny as it sounds. I can see why he’s frustrated lol, those Among Us Lobbies made careers for some people.
@@WidgetWagyu47292 in the context of over 55 people being scammed for over $300,000, a SA being covered up and exploited for views, and the heavy debate about being paid to promote gambling to children. To then go “BUT WHAT ABOUT AMONG US”
@@captainsuckbutt3917 His point was "I am so not kid friendly they banned me from among us." I don't think he was complaining that he wasn't' getting invited.
Considering those cheeky little Among Us lobbies literally vaulted several people's careers to new heights and made others careers entirely, those lobbies were pretty important. Now train ain't hurting any but you know.
OK youtube drama has pulled me back into twitch world after a few years. Quick question - When did Toast become a bloody kpop star! he is looking Great. I need to catch up on that ARC.
Haha, yea after amoung us ended he had a creator meltdown and didn't post for months. Moved back to Canada, lost a bunch of weight, figured that to make himself happy he was going to invest in himself. Then he came back to LA a literal kpop idol. I think he made a video about it but it was over a year ago so I don't remeber.
remember few months ago toast said he doesnt like certain streamers and dont invite them but they were invited in otv event or something,he also said somebody is gonna get cancelled....and when he played with emiru he did said he doesnt like some otk member(but hes fine with mizkif but now even he..👀)...i wonder the people he doesn't like has been cancelled🤔
Toast does not like mizkif. When he was visiting at the otv house, miz even pointed out that toast might not like him and then miz downplayed it to him eating a lot of the sushi toast ordered lmao
@@Changsta74u idk exactly if it's just toast's sushi order or a house sushi order thing because there were visitors at the otv then. Probably was just miz trying to farm drama with toast
I agree. The “OTV” lobbies were very troll. It got to the point where even I had to stop watching because it got repetitive. People would pretty much throw the game because they didn’t want to go against certain players. I could see why some streamers would be annoyed by it.
Half the reason I liked the Toast lobbies is the were good enough at the game to not be boring. But had fun with it enough to not go into try hard mode.
train doesn't really fit in with otv, he's one of those up-front confrontational giving opinions no one asked for kind of people and otv are not like that
Yeah, i think no one is in any wrong here just that the way people plays are different and to each their own. Finding the right group that plays well together is important especially so for streamers since they kinda want a good dynamic between every players within the group to show off, provide entertainment to viewers and not let anyone felt left out if they couldnt vibe well within the group.
Train is genuinely quite an insecure person. He really covers it up with his over the top personality, but with everything happening lately it’s easy to see.
I appreciated Train in the competitive Amogus lobbies. He was even my POV of choice in the earliest, earliest lobbies, we’re talking week one of the Amogus meta (at least in the US), when Toast was still only 200 iq on his videos, and streamers were only just starting to figure out how to get 10 people together in a lobby. He was entertaining to watch (except when he malded super hard), and did a great job of explaining his thought process as he played. He definitely doesn’t fit with the normal OTV and friends group, but he’s in my dream lobby. Never gonna happen anymore, but I had a dream lobby of everyone from across the different friend groups who I would want to see all play together, back when the limit was 10. Toast, Hafu, Sykkuno, 5Up, Rae, Jacksepticeye, Nogla, Train, MoistCritikal, Ash. You’ve got two from the Hafu lobbies and three from the Toast lobbies to anchor it. Then the other five who they don’t play with as often to keep it fresh so they don’t know the tells.
Alternates: Janet and Steven on the Hafu side; Ludwig, Leslie, CORPSE, Abe, Wendy on the OTV&friends side; xQc, PewDiePie, CrankGameplays, Wildcat, Delerious, Yeti on the wildcard side.
@@eccentricbass3730 and if you went with alternatives..... Janet would have been talked over and Train would have lost his mind at Steven trolling..... Lud, Leslie would be ok but Corpse wouldn't have meshed with Train. Abe and Wendy also would not have liked the way Train acts/talks...... the other wild cards weren't tapped often because they would no show
This kind of move of streamer like train is so insensitive and just immature. Toast is the one who had the hardest part in Among us lobbies as he need to make sure the balance of a group, of course there will be always a regular in that group like sykkuno Rae etc. A member that never change. He just should talk about that in private and understand why Toast excludes him.
I mean I can remember when he played with them and I hated it because he did get angry alot at sykunno for simping and trolling and other plays too and was so load. I love the dynamic of the group now because they all joke around and it funny when sykunno or others simp and do wild plays that could involve them trolling a bit it more hilarious and it only a game if they took it so seriously it get boring so fast and not funny.
i think in the twitter dm’s toast handled it very well, he made a whole new lobby just for one person. but train said he got “blacklisted” from the among us lobby when clearly their personalities just don’t match well. people don’t always match with their personalities which is very common and i don’t think that these streamers should make it a big deal, the lobby should either just get over it and never talk or they can hear each other out and understand the situation better.
THE Disguised Toast absolutely OWNING it. The Disguised Toast Among Us Lobby. Followed up by... "I didn't say that..." "I Said This" proceeds to fact check.
What? Among us bein casual? naaaahhhhhh! there aren't numerous videos of everyone messing around for 20 minutes like oh I don't know maybe Toast and Fuslie ordering sushi an entire game or corpse reading blueberry recipes 😜😂🤣 you guys are super sweaty 😏😜🤣
Toast did the right thing. People have to remember that this is their job, Toast needed to keep the people that played on his big lobbies confortable so they didn't leave, Train obviously also wanted to join those games for the exposure, not friendship. Pewdiepie for example hated when the games got sweaty, he would had leave immediately if someone like Train joined. Pewds had like 150-200k live viewers and 15 million views per video during the high of the among us era, there's no reality in which toast would have turn down that exposure just to leave one dude that can't read the mood play on his games.
Trains idea of being good at Among Us is to yell and not let anyone talk. Either way if he loses or wins he still yells some more. That wouldn't have been fun to watch with the amigops crew.
I don't think I've really seen many of the OTV members play among us very often at all. I just subbed a few months ago, once I seen you all with Jack and pewdiepie, but I've gone back a few years. Anyway, I don't ever understand why people have to post all their drama online, like trying to clout kill or something. It's just a game, and on top of that, it's all content for everyone that's playing. I dunno the train wreck youtuber, but seems to be a fitting name for them.
