I forgot how funny this song is ; I’m sitting here laughing and crying at the same time ; Toby served his country and will be forever missed . I’ll be opening a cold one to him ❤️😞
I remember a few years back I was hospitalized for depression, and in the lobby they had a television, and it was turned to the CMT channel, and this song came on, and it literally cheered me up. I would just like to say I'll miss Toby, his music made a lot of people happy.Rip Toby
@@jimmymacinlargo2415 early 2000’s country was hilarious and goofy. I was born in 96 so I feel I was real lucky to be a kid during that era of country lol it was fun
I honestly agree I’ve been worried about his stomach cancer but he did do a 3 he concert you could see it was taking a toll on him he was holding his Stomach but he said that he’s back .
I seen a thing on country cast Toby did a 2 hr concert just the other day he looked and sounded good he got winded he was holding his stomach a lot he was trying to hide it but it was noticeable I don’t know if he was in pain but he finished with angry American he’s definitely trying to get back to the Toby we love so much
@@jamiebrooks9636 I come here all the time to watch this video. Just so much funny stuff going on. Then i read your post and am Happy that he's doing a concert but reminded to keep him in my Prayers. I love his funny songs but also his ballads are amazing. Praying for him with all the smiles and just being touched and amazed at his voice it's the least I can do for him.
Grab a six pack and a lawn chair there's a tornado coming. What a fantastic line, I swear if more people listened to old Toby Keith there wouldn't be nearly as many angry people out there today.
@Toby keith Thanks for the nice words. Keep making your music. Your videos are such fun to watch (many times) and really give me a lift when I am feeling down. Take care and stay safe and healthy.
@Toby keith Hi again. Toby, I live in Fort Langley, BC, Canada just outside Vancouver. There use to be a TV station that showed country music videos and that's when I first connected with your music. It was the What Happens in Mexico video that got me hooked. It was so hilarious and you looked like you were having the best time singing it. The "As Good As I Once Was" so funny, especially right at the end. You look so sassy and cheeky when you are singing and it just makes me smile. I have truly enjoyed everything I've heard that you have done. I think you have that natural ability/talent to sell the song and that's why I enjoy them so much. Keep it up and stay safe in this crazy pandemic that we are all dealing with. Hugs to you.
@Toby keith If I can figure out what THAT is. I pretty much keep to family stuff and some comments here and there on You Tube. Kind of fun to connect with you.

He was something special. He never let it go to his head. He also didn't care about awards but as long as he gave a great show. Scotty I know this is hard for you. I hope you find comfort in knowing Toby was amazing and you were right there for it all. To his wife and kids thank you for sharing your dad with us. Rest well Cowboy 3:06
Toby Keith's music was a big part of my family's life. This song was one of the kids favorites cause it made them laugh. A true American Patriot and he didn't care if you liked it or not! You will be miss Good Sir!
I live in a trailerhood it's actually pretty awesome! Football games for sure, and just real neighbors who look out for you and we all get together and have fun!!!!
Good music, lots of good humor truth in the lyrics-this man just kills me. Add in his love for our red, white and blue and love of our military. This man is the total package.

Yesterday the world lost a legend in country music. I hope that he lives on in others hearts and minds threw his music. I know he will in mine. He will be greatly missed
I grew up in the trailerhood and everyone practically lived in each other's trailer. Everyone was welcome to come over at nearly anytime. It was like having a huge family that all lived next to each other. I loved it. It was fun and there was always something to do, never got bored. But now I live in a small house on the outskirts of the city limits. 😐
My mom came home from work and my dad was home and she found a dude sleeping in swim trunks on a mattress in their living room. She had never seen the dude or the mattress before. The guy tried sweet talking my mom and she turned him down and went to talk to my dad to see what the heck was going, while laughing about the situation the whole way. Then it was common to have kids chase dogs through the trailer, neither the kids or dogs being yours. Lol. She remembered those days fondly. One of her neighbors had a cable spool for a table and logs for seats in the living room. That couple were the weird loveable ones of the trailerhood.
I was born and raised in a middle class town 50 miles from London in the UK . I ended up marrying a girl from Arkansas who lived on a trailer park bang in the middle of nowhere. I met when gaming. I thought it would be a culture shock meeting them . But I can say hand on heart they are some of the most hospitable , welcoming people I have ever met in my life . FFWD 10 years & we are now divorced but I still stay in contact , still class them as good friends & always visit when passing by . Life is what you make it & there is no shame living in a trailer. Infact I prefer it than in some " keep up with the Jones" clicky sub division .
I have a 5 year old grandson and I play this for him when I pick him up from school 2 days a week. Both his grandfather and father are dead and I want him to know his roots.

I always laugh at the old men playing poker scenes. Reminds me of my two great-grandfathers when I was a kid. They were always calm, relaxed, kept their cards close, and had that 'old-man' poker face that never changed, no matter if they were winning or losing. That was 45 years ago, and I probably couldn't beat either of them even today.
