4:12 You know, this game is annoyingly flawed especially with how unbalanced everything is but christ, as an Australian I can say they did well with how the V8s look and sound, it was probably the best time I had in 2002 before the days of big simulators.
1:26 in the real world of the BTCC MG didn’t start the championship until silverstone 2001 and they secured their first win with Anthony Reid and first pole position for warren Hughes
This brings back a lot of childhood memories. As a bit of an aside I think the Australian version of the game had an extra car in the V8 Supercars series, the Holden Commodore VT in the Big Kev livery, which is surprising to not see it in this version
Thanks for the nostalgia man! I used to play this game so much as a kid, loved creating 'custom' tournaments in free play but as I was too shit at the game so I could never unlock all the cars in that 1v1 battle you had to do hahah. I loved going to that oval circuit (Bristol I think?) in the rain and then making every AI car get stuck sideways by driving so slow they started losing traction. Childhood cory memory unlocked for sure
I myself downloaded the save file with open cars)))) I also liked to arrange an apocalypse on the oval, I turned around and drove in the opposite direction, arranging a derby
@@dannystavs2003 create a folder called C:\RaceDriver, then unpack both CDs to C:\RaceDriver it gets around any of the "Program Files x86" issues There's a proper guide somewhere but this is a headstart.
I didn't know the BTCC was in this! I've never played this game, nor watched a playthrough either here on YT. The YT video I did watch about this game was the cutscenes of the story. There should've been a Story Mode on the BTCC.
@@adrianopozda3096 I couldn’t find it for a long time, then I downloaded it as an anthology with other parts, I can’t give a link, it was a long time ago
I learned how to ride on tracks from the Toca series and I still have the first part i think maybe i'm back to this title your video is very encouraging 😅
