@@cerscil I can’t even watch these dog story’s sometimes I get so depressed. There is a black lab in the pound now that I want to go get but I have two rescues big dogs with problems. One of them only likes his brother he wouldn’t let another dog in the house. Dogs are so expensive. Pet insurance is $200 a month for both dogs. Heart worm pills are $200 a year plus the test. Now my Golden Retriever has to have his anal glands expressed every 6 weeks by the vet. That’s another $140. I remember when I was younger having dogs they just got two vaccines every three years, they ate dog food I bought at Lucky’s. Those dogs lived to be 16 never got sick. Now it’s crazy how much they cost. I spent $20,000 dollars trying to save my last dog when he got sick at only 7. I even sold my car. To keep him out of pain I had to give him CBD tincture that cost me $100 a week. The only time I have ever asked strangers for money was after spending all my money, carless. My boy needed his CBD for his pain and seizures. After all that I couldn’t save him 😭
It makes me sick to think of all those who don't get rescued. God bless you Lee. Please adopt everyone please. Thank you Lee! You give me hope for our planet. I do believe they know they re safe. Donate, donate, donate please.
It's hard to watch rescue videos sometimes thinking of the ones who don't get rescued, I agree. It must be so heartbreaking for those actually doing the work.
And the Lord said the earth needs a replacement angel all the other angels are tired saw the Lord said I think I'll send this man called Lee Asher on Earth to replace all the other Angels thank you we asked her for replacing God's angels on Earth❤😂😊❤🙏😻😹🐕🐾🐾👏🎊🥰 thank you Lee Asher for replacing God's angels on Earth❤😊🥰💜💙💚💛🧡❤
The person smiling in the back of the car when she realizes Lee is going to say "Rescue Day!" Let's please acknowledge the drivers who learned all the names and even remembered to tell Lee about the two dogs who were together. ❤❤❤ And always LEE❤❤❤
Wow, it's insane to me how many dogs get put in shelters/euthanised in parts of the US. There are literally waitlists for small size dogs in parts of Canada, dogs like that dachshund would never, ever get anywhere near being euthed. Thank you so, so much for all of your hard work rescuing these precious souls. Thank you to all the people involved in saving them.
Spay & neutering education makes such a big difference! Sadly, we do still have problems in Northern parts of the provinces. I can't believe those pure bred dogs were on a euth list!!
@@kasondaleigh There are a number (more before covid but I think it's picking up again) of rescues, either Canadian or US-based, that adopt to Canada. It's a long and expensive process but I'm glad it happens - it's just obvious from watching videos like this one that there's still lots of work to do. Fwiw I've owned 3 dogs and all were from US shelters - Kentucky, Texas and California. I drove from Montreal to Wisconsin to meet the rescuer of my first dog (from Kentucky) and when the time comes will probably do it again.
@@purplepawzniagara Yeah we're sure not perfect by any means. Lots of issues up north and also certain provinces still aren't great with animals. I live in Quebec and there are still dogs in the SPCA here, and a culture of not caring so much about animals. Meanwhile my mom on Vancouver Island saw two people almost get into a fistfight over who was ahead of who on a waitlist to adopt an 8 year old shihtzu cross. I also see stray cats here as well, which I never saw once growing up in the Lower Mainland.
@@Lucysmom26 Wow, I'm thankful for you saving the life of those dogs. I'm in the US (Arizona) and I also adopt from our shelters. We're very appreciative of any help we can get.
The sad part is when Covid was forcing people to stay home everyone wanted a pet a you couldn't find a dog available witch was amazing now everything is back to normal lets just throw the poor souls away like they don't matter it totally sickens me how people can do that and Lee and your group are ANGELS FROM ABOVE ❤❤❤❤
@@irisfader3250 So true. I volunteer at the local dog pound. During Covid almost all of the animals got adopted. When Covid was over and they returned to work, MANY MANY were returned. They had these precious babies over a year and returned them. In today’s society we lack commitment. So sad.😞🥺
It’s so sad when there are people who will help you care for your pet if you’re very busy. My cousin makes her living as a dog walker and sitter. There are apps to find people to help you care for your animals. There is no excuse for returning so many animals because you got busy now that you work. It’s one thing if end up in prolonged hospitalization or in a nursing facility that doesn’t allow pets. That’s usually beyond a person’s control. However, these deadbeats who treat their pets as disposable probably treat people that way too.
I knew sadly this is how it was gonna go everyone wanted one during covid cause they had all this free time now that we are back to relatively normal everyone has gone back to their lives and dumped the dogs back in the shelters
There seemed to be a lot of people getting dogs during Covid just as an excuse to go outside. This should never have been allowed to happen. It's heartbreaking 💔
@@jennybarrett2365 I knew too. Why don't people think ahead? They went back to work, realized their dogs weren't happy being left alone, (To leave your dog for more than 5 hours is illegal in Sweden) and doggy day cares were full.
Oh, my goodness!! Each one SO precious and adorable!! :) Poor, sweet Dachshund- so scared...(his barks were heart-breaking.. 😢) So grateful that he will remain with his adorably cute dog friend there.. :) 💗
I can’t just imagine how long it’s been since these babies got any love and affection . Thank you Lee and all the staff and volunteers at Asher House. Bless you all 💖
Who are you kidding Lee? They are all your favorite breed! You love them all equally and they are all special and precious. Thank you for following your heart and God given mission to save as many of these wonderful pups as you can.
Inflation has hit us hard here, and sadly too many families can’t afford to keep their pets. Pet food prices are up 20% like so many other necessities of life. Shelters and rescues are overwhelmed but thankfully Lee and others are doing their best to help out.🤷🏻♀️
If you think CA is bad, you should check out TX sometime, especially south TX. It's horrendous here because so many people don't spay/neuter and let their dogs all run loose or just abandon them altogether shortly after getting them. It's a devastating problem here that just keeps getting worse...
Because California cares more about setting criminals free and doesn't gaf about actual taxpayers who are not a burden to society. In other words, CA sucks, period, from the top right down to the gutter. It's soooooooo sad. Such an otherwise beautiful state being reigned over by an awful lot of simply bad people. Heartbreaking really, it is heartbreaking. 💔
My 4 weenie dogs were soooooooooo concerned listening to that sweet doxie crying in the crate - all ears and head tilts and looking at me like ‘mom, why is he so sad?’ 😭💔💜🐶
Lee, you and ALL the other beautiful people who rescue SO MANY SOULS, well, it's because of you all - and the unlimited good that you do - for (I'd say) some of the most wonderful, noble, loving, loyal, super-intelligent, sentient beings to exist, - because of yourselves (& others in the worldwide animal loving & rescue community) I am able to keep breathing, getting up, keep on trying and not give up. I’m homeless and live in my car, but I want to give Asher House all the money I can. Thank you all for being such a bright light in this dark world. ❤️
The way they all came out of the van with wagging tails tells me that the transport team were super kind to these doggies on the way to Asher House (aka heaven for rescues!). Thank you for everyone involved in saving these sweet dogs! Looking forward to seeing what happens for them: joining the AH permanent pack or going on to wonderful forever homes.❤
They are all gorgeous! They know they have been saved!!!!! I feel that every state should make all the shelters no-kill!!!!!! As always, I thank you so much, Lee!!!!!!!!
Are you paying for that? These shelters get literally 100's of dogs every day. Will you be paying for food and shelter for them all? They just can't provide that.
I just said goodbye to my boxer girl Gracie today. Seeing this happy boxer (and all the other dogs) warmed my broken heart. Thank you so much for rescuing them.
What is wrong with people that they can walk away from these darling sweethearts knowing their demise and not care.Thanku Lee and your wonderful staff for such outstanding devotion and love.God bless and protect you all and all the darling animals ❤❤❤
I love how Lee welcomes each pup to the ranch. Too bad there is not enough Lee's in this world to put all shelters out of business. Don't forget about your pets and fireworks - there are many pets that run away due to fireworks. So please keep them all safe.😍🥰
Thank you again for rescuing all these dogs who would have been euthanized without your intervention. I have no words to describe what I feel towards you, Lee, and your admirable Asher House team. Bless you, all of you. Cuddles to all your animals. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
It's incredible to see that there truly is a dog of every breed in shelters everywhere! Adopt....adopt...adopt! We need more t.n.r. clinics everywhere. Thank you Asher house for all you do. I donate monthly because I truly believe in the work you all do, and the love and care you give! ❤
Can't believe any one could treat these beautiful souls as disposable....like putting rubbish down a shoot....thank you for helping them...sending best wishes ❤️ ♥️ 💖
I cries like a baby but HAPPY TEARS to see this helpless, loving sweetheart being SAFE 😢❤😍😍😍😘🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕❤The smaller bonded pair was crying for each other 😢❤❤❤😘😘😘😘😘🐕🐕❤❤May the ones who waiting in the SHELTERS be BLESSED with FOSTERS, ADOPTERS RESCUE 😢😢😢 and SOLUTION FOR END PUPPY MILLS AND BACKYARD BREEDERS AND BREEDERS OR IRRESPONSIBLE OWNERS!!!! Dear Lee, we are so glad to support what you are doing with our profit from the yearly big fleah market over here in Konstanz- Germany. We sell the little things nobody wants anymore. 600 Dollar for your babies, we are so happy! Franz & Bella
What happiness to know this group of precious souls are now safe. On the other hand, it breaks my heart to think about all the ones left in the shelter. God bless you, Lee, and all at the Asher house.❤❤❤
We we we we! Rescue day for Lee. God bless you Lee and all Asher House staff. All these beautiful lives you are saving and giving them the best life. ❤❤❤
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Please people, a pet is a lifetime commitment, not to be discarded & face being killed because the shelters are overloaded 😢😢
I’m so happy to see these beautiful fur babie excited to be saved n alive in a place that looks like freedom and piece of heaven compared to the shelter in a cage makes me want to cry but happy tears 😊❤
Thank you for all you do. We just lost our rescue yorkie after 5 wonderful years. She came from a puppy mill. I can’t imagine my life without ever having her. ❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️🐕🐕🐕🐕 beautiful doggies thanks for rescuing doggies who so needed a lifeline and for drawing attention to high kill shelters and how much precious life is lost.
If only there weren't so many strays Or people buying a pet, just to throw them out if they are too old, too hard, or whatever the reason And if people fixed their pets The number of puppies or pregnant animals because they aren't fixed That's why TNR for cats is great Some cats can't be in a home environment, so trapping, neutering (or spaying), and returning is the best way to have fewer cats outside The kill shelters don't have a choice There's more animals than shelters There's not enough space for 100 dogs in a month that only 10 gets adopted, and the city keeps giving more to that shelter because the city pays them to keep running While none kill shelters, only run on donations, and if they don't have room, they can say no Which put that pregnant dog into a kill shelter And it's one reason for it to be put down unless it gets into foster care Shelters can barely hold 1 dog... add 1 dog and 4 to 12 puppies in a matter of weeks that have to stay for 2 months and most likely won't all get adopted within a week, some, like the mom dog will stay there for months to years I think we all want no animal put down... but there's more animals than space for them
It makes me furious to see how many dogs are in shelters, dumped, but to see how many dogs are rescued by Lee Asher makes me happy please continue support the Asher house
Breaks my heart he adopts dogs on the Euth list but then more dogs move into that position and it starts all over again. Lee you are my hero. I see you do the very best you can. I'll never forget you.❣️❣️❣️❣️
Love to see Rescue day ❤ you are definitely an Angel Lee. Thank you for all that you do for these little ones. You and your staff are the best. 🐶🐶🐾🐾 🐕❤❤❤❤❤
I can believe that Lee!! It's like it's OPEN SEASON ON ANIMALS!! Thank God for people like you!! You saved all of these dogs from being Euthanized!! You are the REAL DEAL!! Thank You for everything that you do for these precious dogs!! Really Appreciate It!! You are a GODSEND!!❤😊
They are so adorable! I wish I could save them all here in Florida. It is so hot and the dogs are getting stressed. It is so sad to know they are killing dogs everyday because of stress.
Thank you for saving these precious souls. Was sad to see Lucy go, but thankful she found her forever family. What you are doing is amazing, keep up the wonderful work you are doing to rescue these animals.
My Heart absolutely sinks to know so many are getting euthanized. I Cry to much. THANK YOU sooo Much for saving these precious babies.. we need to do better
We are in crisis in Atlanta at our shelters. They are euthanizing every week because of lack of space. I have never seen it this bad. It gives me hope that Lee is able to rescue from high kill shelters.
I said Ohhhhh so many times, basically anytime you show their faces on any video its the only way to react. I wish that adoption and or rescue was more affordable here in Austalia. I would have a house full, we have the land, but on a single income its tough. We have lost 3 animals in the last year, just two weeks ago our beautiful Chippy went to get his teeth cleaned and one a million chances there was trouble in recovery and he didn't make it. Out vet bills have been super crazy, we are literally putting our animals before ouselves, we are creative with meals etc. We have only 2 doggies left, and they melt my heart everyday. I need to build up our pack.. one step at a time. Thanks for the inspiration and care that you give every animal.
I was having a really bad day and I just watched the video of you saving those precious dogs and I feel so much better. Not only are you saving them I think you have saved me. It has restored my faith in humanity, thank you ❤
Such beautiful dogs!! All about to die?? They deserve the love Lee and his team will give. Hopefully those who can will find loving forever homes. Bless you Asher House!!
Dogs are the most precious, perfect creatures in the world! I wish every one of them could be treated like royalty, like the rare jewels that they are.
It's Rescue Day!!! My heart melts into a big ball of fuzzy love. There are So many animals of every kind in shelters, so many getting euthanized. How beautiful to see Rescue Day! A chill pack walk and pack swim, perfect for these beauties. Welcome home!! 🥰
