couldn't find it on youtube, so I uploaded it. No monetary reasons, just trying to spread good music. this is from season 1 of That 70s show, personally, I like this version more. it has more of a 70s rock feel.
@@Anti-HyperLink I know this is a three year old comment … it’s not techno at all .it’s synthesizer and a Hammond organ things pretty typical for the 70’s. have you ever listened to 70’s Prog rock? Or AOR/Arena rock it’s all in there.
Donna: hey Eric can I have a cookie? Eric: sorry I can't reach while I'm driving Donna: come on please just one cookie? Eric: can't you wait till I stop? Donna:(yelling) COOKIE! Eric reluctantly gives Donna a cookie
see in the streets isn’t a for sure one cover each has many fans it’s ludicrous madness of which ones the best but they decided cheap trick which actually fit the progression from 77- onward
I like this one better, but I can understand why it was replaced. It really sounds like a demo or something, really bare bones. Though it might be because there's only one singer here, it's kinda weird not hearing everyone singing it.
Hangin' out Down the street The same old thing We did last week Not a thing to do But talk to you Not a thing to do Out in the street, oh yeah Mom and dad They live upstairs The music's loud So we don't care I wish we had A number so bad Oh yea Under street lights Out past midnight We're all alright We're all alright Yea! Ow I still recall And drive on down Pick you up And we'll drive around Not a thing to do But talk to you Not a thing to do Oh yea! Under street lights Out past midnight We're all alright We're all alright Yea! (Oh yea, oh yea) (Hello Wisconsin )
OMG! BEEN LOOKING FOR THE REAL DEAL FOR AGES! THANKS A LOT BUDDY! IT REALLY IS REMINSCENT OF THAT 70s SHOW...IF ONLY ERIC HADN'T LEFT...THEY COULD'VE CONTD. TILL THEY ALL HAD THEIR OWN KIDS...INTO THE 80s MAN! XD
Yeah, this version is great, as used on season one of That 70's Show. I also do like Cheap Trick's rendition and version too as used in season 2 on forward. Hello, Wisconsin! Hello, America!! Enjoying re-runs of That 70's Show.
Keith Warner it’s actually saddening to see people debate over which of the two theme show versions are the best, and not even acknowledge the original, which blows these out of the water
in the early episodes, when they used this version as the theme song it was Danny Masterson (Steven Hyde).. later on the lead singer of cheap trick done it according to their website.
Hello: I need this version with better quality. Unfortunately, it is impossible to buy, you have the version of the promo CD? It's not for commercial use. Thank you in advance
Perfer the Cheap Trick version. There's just a lot more treble in this version that makes it sound more simplistic, which is absolutely fine and really does capture that 70's theme that was needed for That 70's Show. I personally just like the bass and how grand a scale the Cheap Trick version sounds with little synths in the background complementing the melodic guitar.
The Cheap Trick version is good, heavier and slower, but this version is just more rockin’. I also don’t like how Cheap Trick changed the riff. But I wish they used the original Big Star version just to be more authentic.
I agree, though liking Cheap Trick's version to a point. How i wish that they'd stepped it up another notch or so, just my humble opinion. NOT sure if there will be a reunion show but you never know.
