tilly fish i know but sometimes especially in the first few seasons, it says hyde. According to google it is hyde but according to the subtitles it is both hyde and kelso???!!
they were probably just really happy and excited that they got picked up for a second season, tv shows were hard back then and very few would even make it past the pilot
Shows his character development Same goes for Fez. In season 1 he was a lot more focused on driving. He still is in season 2 but he’s at least singing.
Can we all agree seasons 2 and 3 with Lisa and Tanya (Laurie and Midge) were the best? The show just wasn't the same without them, even when both briefly came back. R.I.P both of them by the way
That's why Seasons 1-3 were the peak of the Show. Season 4 is still a semi-classic season with Leo Still in it. But once he left also it stopped being a classic Era of the Show. Seasons 5-7 are Decent still, But Season 8 sucked.
@@mistqlette4037 fun fact: the "we're all alright" was taken from cheap trick's 1978 hit, "surrender" which t70s actually considered using as the theme for a bit, since the song would've gone pretty well with the show imo
@@SyliAiChani think it is kelso cause in season 8, hyde is in the circle and kelso isn’t, so when leo hears kelso scream, “hello wisconsin!”, he looks around all scared like, “who said that?”
@Gabby DeLorean yeah that's true :) and it sounds like him and if you put the subtitles on, it says Kelso said it :) one or two episodes say Hyde but I assume it's a mistake coz all I hear is Kelso's voice :/ I've tried looking for more evidence in the past like Ashton Kutcher talking about it but not found anything about it :/
@@davids.7567 that’s not really an excuse for poor attention to detail. A period piece is a period piece before any attempts to cut corners and save money. They didn’t have to include any cars if that was an issue so they can maintain the allusion. I personally really hate watching movies and TV that take place pre-2000 and there are present day cars in the shot
The attention to detail is awesome with the shot of Kelso sitting in between Laurie and Jackie with him switching his eyes at them in a paranoid demeanor 0:34
Hanging out Down the street The same old thing We did last week Not a thing to do But talk to you We’re all alright We’re all alright Hello, Wisconsin!
Todd Griffin's first season's version sounds more like a song I'd genuinely listen to while the Cheap Trick's version does feel more like a theme song, esp with "we're all alright!".
I remember coming home from school and hanging out with all my friends from that 70s show.. almost felt real sometimes. We’re all alright we’re all alright!
season 1 is my favorite because is the purest, they just look like a bunch of high school kids having fun. The problem with other seasons' intros is that I'm too good-looking.
I think season 1 is more rock as it doesn't have the constant chord arpeggios that the rest of the seasons have. Those make it cornier for me/lose tension, and subtract from the actual riff.
They were way older than me when this show was out and now i'm watching this and i'm older than they are (when this was filmed)...its seriously depressing me. But...Great show!
Mila Kunis was only fourteen when she auditioned for the show. The casting directors required that any interested actors be at least 18 when auditioning. When producers asked her age, she misled them by saying, "Well, I'll be eighteen on my birthday." and neglected to say what year. Mila Kunis (Jackie) had her first kiss in real life at the age of 15 as an actress on this show with Ashton Kutcher (Michael Kelso). She and Kutcher got married years later and have two children. The filming of the final episode, "That '70s Finale", was frequently delayed because Laura Prepon (Donna) couldn't stop crying. She had become extremely emotional as the realization that she would no longer be filming the show with the cast and crew she had started to consider as family, hit her really hard. The fifth season episode titles are all Led Zeppelin song titles, the sixth season are all The Who songs, the seventh season are all The Rolling Stones songs, and the eighth season's titles are all Queen songs. In many scenes, Mila Kunis (Jackie) had to wear platform heels, or sit down, just to appear in the same frame as Laura Prepon (Donna), due to the height difference. Kitty's cigarette smoking was slowly phased out after season three, due to Debra Jo Rupp kicking the habit in real life. Jackie Mila Kunis and Kelso Ashton Kutcher were one of the show's main couples. In 2012, six years after the end of this show, Kunis and Kutcher started dating in real life as well. In 2014, Kunis had the couple's first child. They got married in July 2015. Despite popular belief, Jackie's eye color is said to be brown, unlike Mila Kunis, who has a rare condition called heterochromia, meaning one of her eyes is green, and the other brown. Red's middle name is Albert. His full name is Reginald Albert Forman. Although they play brothers in the show, Ashton Kutcher and Luke Wilson only share one scene during the whole series. In many episodes there are references to Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), mostly by Eric Forman. Much like Eric, Topher Grace is a big fan of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) and Star Trek (1966). Some songs playing during the scene changes, or bumpers, are snippets from famous '70s songs such as "Fly Like an Eagle" by the Steve Miller Band, "Magic Man" by Heart, and "What Is and What Should Never Be" by Led Zeppelin. The reason behind Midge's reduced role throughout the series is because of Tanya Roberts' personal struggles. At the time, her husband, Barry Roberts, had been battling encephalitis, and she left the show to take care of him. The rock group poster often seen on the wall in Eric's basement is of Paul McCartney and Wings. Ages of the main six when the show started: * Mila Kunis - 15 * Wilmer Valderrama - 18 * Laura Prepon - 18 * Topher Grace - 20 * Ashton Kutcher - 20 * Danny Masterson - 22 The song by supergroup ABBA, "Fernando" was released in 1975 as it is played as the song that Hyde has his first dance with Donna in season 1 episode 8 "that disco episode" in the year 1976 The theme is actually Cheap Trick's cover of an old "Big Star" single from 1972 The theme song is originally a Big Star song called "In the Street." Cheap Trick covered parts of it for the theme song. Bret Harrison as Charlie Richardson was intended to be the replacement character for Eric Forman once he left for Africa (and Topher Grace left the show). However, Harrison had won the leading role in Reaper (2007) and could no longer commit to the show, and so he was killed off by having him fall off the water tower fatally. Josh Meyers was then recruited to fill in for Topher Grace. The only core male teenager throughout the series with whom Jackie (Mila Kunis) never has a romantic relationship is Eric (Topher Grace). Their hostile nature towards one another is pointed out sporadically throughout the series. When Eric leaves for Africa, he is genuinely shocked that for the first time ever, Jackie calls the house specifically to speak to Eric, stating she always considered him a close friend. The series finale, during the New Year's Eve party, ends exactly at 11:59 PM on December 31, 1979 as the characters count down the clock. The show ended 1 second before the beginning of the new decade (the 1980's). Like Kelso, Ashton Kutcher used to be a model
The we are all rigth scream takes me back to those years. 2000, 2001. I was at elementary in Buenos Aires. Young, naive, happy. Miss the good old days. Now "enjoying" quarantine. Hope this end some day.
I love Tanya Roberts and Don Stark boogieing in the back seat at about 0:49! Back in the real 70s, there was a couple at my Grandparents apartments who were just like that! (Grandpa told me to stay away from them! :D )
Just recently realized all the newer cars in the intro that came out way after the 70s. Look to the left starting at 1:15 a late 90s early 00s Ford goes by.
Jessica Messica bruh its just a fucking show thats called that 70’s show. I know u know it wasnt filmed in the 70’s but god why do people have to be so fucking picky. Like get the fuck over it
I like both season 1-2 openings for different reasons but I love the horns in the Christmas episode opener!! Really makes it stand out and grab your attention aside from sounding super generic XD
There’s actually 2 different ones for Season 8, the one without randy (which was shown in video), and the one with him. He was the new hire at Hyde’s record store and was added to the intro just after episode one.
Characters who drive the Vista Cruiser (during the intro): - Eric - Fez - Laurie - Red - Donna - Leo - Jackie Characters who don't: - Hyde - Kelso - Kitty - Midge - Bob
