I agree with some comments. I want to see everything the jury is seeing. You do not have to be a sicko to want to see it. It is a learning experience. Plus I am a visual person I want to see it. If your have a weak stomach then why are you watching at all. I do not think it has anything to do with RU-vid. Have you seen the faces of death videos ?? Now that is way more graphic. I want the whole courtroom experience.
I wish there was a site where we could see some of these victims to get the idea of what happened. I have a strong stomach and want the whole "picture," if that makes sense. If you all know of any site let me know.
Ya! We can put on live tv a doctor removing people's body parts but you can't show me some rake punctures. The other thing I don't get is when programs sensor a person being shot. Do you know what it looks like when someone gets shot? (Nothing)
Agree. I've never grasped why real life is too graphic but seeing a horror movie, war movie and such is completely fine to see because it's fake.. Well at least fake in film. Real life is scary and brutal , yet the whole brutal (truth to my mind) is what makes educating people work . as a nurse I've seen the worst humanity does to itself and it sure isn't pretty but I can say it's made me all the more awake, to know what any human in the right circumstance does to the other or the stupid choices one makes. Show the entirety or show nothing. Editing doesn't give all facts.
Id assume they dont post alot of the photos due to the deceased persons dignity if you where the victims child would you want naked photos on the internet for merely our interest/entertainment also its respect to the victim as she is dead and not able to consent to posting her post mortem murdered naked body photos on the internet for us to get the "full idea".Dont get me wrong id like to see what the jurors see to BUT i understand for whatever reason when they do deem the photos to be to graphic to show. just my opinion....
If you haven't seen the dash video from the scene go look it up. Kudos to the police officers who thought, at the scene, that things didn't add up. You can hear one officer saying to get pictures of his knuckles. This could have gone unnoticed and it's critical that those injuries were documented immediately after the 'accident' for this case.
v kauffman i agree but it would of been noticed again. The detectives asked him during the interrogation where the injuries to his hands came from. He said from the windshield. His interrogation was painful to watch. His long drawn out nonsensical answers were so difficult to listen to and his weasel voice is so annoying. What a piece of garbage.
Or y'know, there could have been a car crash, whiplash, dragging from the car, dragging in the mud, emergency CPR, EMS CPR, defibrillator, gurneys, c- brace around the neck, medical intervention, and yeah... again... car crash.
szqsk8- yes he did, at least that’s what I believe. Go to the RU-vid Channel “Crime Vault.” That dude just released them or at least it was in my feed this morning, a compilation of like 5 videos taking us through the evidence, interrogation and sentencing. You should definitely check that out! It was a fantastic group of videos. He worked so hard to bring all the info together for us. Start with the 911 call and work your way down. I tried to copy the link for you but couldn’t. It’s in Crime Vault under Todd Kendhammer. There was a ton of information and the video where he took the stand in his defense was nothing short of shockingly eye opening! Within an hour or so, my mind had completely changed about his guilt/innocence. I just sat their watching thinking...You what? You didn’t really say that, did you? Omg, after 25 yrs of marriage. Seriously? Dude, are you lying or just stupid?? Obviously you can see this trial really got to me because it was just so unbelievable. Watch the videos in order as he’s put them in order for us. It was super interesting! Crime Vault kicks butt! He is fantastic!
She died a very painful death , I think he knocked her out at home then went off to bury her. He may have had a spade in the boot but threw it far into the swamp before the police came. They found drips of blood in their garage.
@@Natalie-gb8tt yes, the fight occurred elsewhere, and that's a good theory. The blood most likely happened during the fight. the transporting of the body indicated premeditation which should have put him in the clinker for life without the possibility of review for release (parole in any other state).
@@dabneyoffermein595 they found drops of blood in their garage they told him in his police interview. First he said he didn’t know then he said it was deer blood. The fight must have begun in the garage as his son was in the house.
His lawyer trying to control the ME and what she could say was funny, considering the line of questioning was about the glass which he had been talking about like he was an expert in glass injuries...when he isn't. There was no blood on that pipe at all either. Pretty basic stuff to prove that he's lying. She's also a Forensic Pathologist i.e. she is trained in the physics surrounding trajectories. Just because she isn't called a Physicist, it doesn't mean she doesn't understand Physics.
The injuries on Todd's knuckles didn't come from trying to grab a flying pipe out of the air like Captain America like he says. His left hand was injured the worst, even though his wife and the pipe would be on his right. He didn't let go of the steering wheel and double punch the windshield with both fists. Even hitting the windshield once wouldn't do that. So how did all the knuckles on both hands get so bruised and busted? That kind of injury comes from repeatedly punching something. Oddly enough there are no impacts to the windshield other than the pipe, an no blood on the windshield from Todd either. His wife on the other hand looks like she was in a fight with Mike Tyson.
His atty trying to make it sound like he "cared" so much about his wife...they counted 21x he wanted to see his wife....well yeah, cuz he wants to make sure she wasn't talking, he didn't know they were going to make him go away! And how the f**k did she get ALL these injuries from a "pipe" going thru the windshield? Wouldn't the pipe still be in her head? And WHY would he move her? "IF" he called 911 ASAP I think they would have said NOT to move her because they would probably think what I was thinking, that this pipe impaled her head. I cannot believe her brother & mother rallied behind him, especially after seeing these autopsy pics!!!
Great point. Todd couldn't leave her because if she comes to, he needs to control the narrative. Also he wanted to make excuses for all the injuries they were finding. That's why he was freaking out not because he cares.
Lower back, arms, groin, legs covered in bruises. Hands with cuts and bruises all over. Fractured nose and busted up face. Neck scrapes, injuries at the back of the head. Skull fracture. Sorry but guilty.
inTruthbyGrace: Strangulation? Beating with fists? Smash in the face with bubba mug? Body dragged roughly from vehicle? Head smashed against rear wheel rim? Defensive scratching and grasping to stay alive? All the above?? One thing’s for sure, they weren’t caused by a pipe stuck in the windshield.
That Poor Woman . I picture her as a Little Kitten trying to defend itself from a Vicious Dog as it is trapped in a box .Little handswiping with tiny nails was all she had
He's cocky and condescending. He treats this EXPERT highly qualified Dr with zero respect and since he's representing a wife-beating-murderer its possible with a *reasonable degree of certainly* he did his client no favor during this period of the trial.
@@BrookeMcLymond Absolutely agree. Whether it is something we like to hear or not, juries absolutely are more inclined to agree with the attorney that they like better and defense counsel did not endear himself to anyone. He was very disrespectful, especially to this woman who is highly trained in her profession, as you pointed out.
I thought he did a great job! He did his job well and raised as much reasonable doubt as he could! That's his job! It's hard defending someone who is guilty, considering the OVERWHELMING amount of evidence against Todd, the defense did everything they could. People always attack defense attorneys but there just doing their job!! Defense attorneys are incredibly important to the justice system, they save innocent people every day! (Todd's not one of the innocent). This attorney did an excellent job considering what he had to work with..
Na i don't think so.. He may have killed her, but I certainly don't get any controlling vibes from this one. If anything it sounds like his wife was a control nut and maybe he finally snapped bc of it. She made the man sit to pee..i think that says it all!!! Also her particularity with ice cubes, water brands and water bottles are all signs that she was the controlling nagging partner. Lastly I love how you people buy w.e is laid out for you without a 2nd thought.. The prosecutors job is to convict whether guilty or innocent they don't care. Its seems like the prosecutor couldn't find any evidence of Todd being abusive or controlling so they take nice gestures that they did as a couple and spun it into "evidence" that he was "controlling. " Driving your spouse to and from work and calling each other on your breaks is normal caring behavior, not control.. You all must have miserable relationships and can't recognize a kind gesture when you see one.
My heart breaks for their kids. Having lost mom to something so horrific, to seeing their dad go to prison for killing his wife. They lost all they knew in one morning. To think of them waking up that morning, starting their normal day and thinking of the get away with family conning up.. Not knowing they were to lose both parents, their home, their life to one they placed full trust and love into. How they can't see how much of a controlling marriage their parents had I'll never understand. I fully believe their was a love they shared but no marriage is perfect, no marriage is spent together as much as they were. I hope for the sake of the kids future marriage and relationships they open their eyes to the truth of what their mother lived daily. Waking up to the truth doesn't negate the love nor support they have for their father but it sure gives their mother the respect of the truth being known, ALL the ugly truth of the lies their parents built to show all but themselves. Nobody ever know what happens in a marriage behind closed doors. All I can say is I fully believe what is hidden in the dark will always come to light and brings with it all the pain the dark lies hide
I agree, you just know those sacred words are coming from the defence, youre not a glass expert, Nor certified glass expert, Neither an expert in biomechanics, nor physics, blah blah blah
She has likely had more contact with the prosecution and has met with them on several occasions prior to giving her testimony. She may also know them not only from this case but from others and they have a business relationship and know each other better.
She must have felt sick thinking he could get away with that without her taking it further. Good on her helping to give Barbara the justice she deserves.
Yes, Mr. Defense Attorney..Barbara SHOOK HANDS with Todd and got a bunch of his SKIN CELLS and DNA UNDER her fingernails. I guess that's how he got all the scratches on his body too? It all happened when they shook hands. Obviously.
The summary here is that defense simply stated the obvious that the ME is not an expert in physics and that she cannot say how specifically were the blunt force injuries inflicted on Barbara which is common sense. It's not her job to know that anyways. In other words - they had nothing short of claiming that the EMT's could've beat her to death on the way to hospital.
She a forensic pathologist. They're trained in trajectory physics. He's an idiot who tried to make her look like a dumb woman when she's smarter than he and that POS he was defending combined.
@@Odette321 it's his job to discredit anything that potentially hurt his client. By your logics, anyone who seems guilty shouldn't hire anyone to defend themselves since any lawyer take that job is a pos.
Wow. According to the defense that pipe went crazy in that vehicle and hit her everywhere on her body. There is just no way the pipe can go that many directions. I believe the husband went crazy and hit her everywhere and in different directions on her body. Why else would his knuckles be so bloody.
I'm a 25 year litigation lawyer. This may be the worst cross I've ever seen of an expert. He spends the first gosh knows how long asking mindless questions about her indisputable qualifications, etc. The FIRST question needs to be one to support the defense: You cannot say with any medical certainty that a pipe dropped from a truck and impacting Mrs. K's car at 45 could not have caused some of these injuries, correct? Why does he spend time lauding her accomplishments and fellowships, etc. Idiotic.
This defense attorney is not very good. He said the damming conclusion in the ME's report. It's like he wants this guy to go to jail. He is totally guilty though
Poor lady. I can't believe her kids were believing his BS. She was beaten over a lengthy attack and her children didn't look at those pictures and see what he did to her and hate his guts.
This pathologist is so experienced, then defence lawyer starts with his B.S. "you're not experienced in" and blah blah blah, as usual tries to make all prosecution witnesses look dumb, Hurely is embarrassing himself! thumbs up for prosecution lawyer.
Pipe: ”I just remember one minute I'm rusting away in a garage & the next thing I know Todd is shoving me in & out, in & out of a windshield!!!! .....Where’s Barb been?”
This defense attorney is dof. He was told specifically by the judge to stay by the microphone but here he is, wandering around the courtroom like a lost sheep in the desert. His questions of the pathologist are unbelievable. Is he trying to convince the jury that his client is guilty? Is he a court appointed lawyer? I find it hard to imagine anyone electing to have him represent them. Even for free he is too expensive. He can't use a laser pointer? Seriously!!! Stupid is not the word.
He's not the worst lawyer I've ever seen, but not sure why he thinks badgering and trying to berate female expert witness that's smarter and better educated than him on the stand is good strategy in a domestic homicide case. 😣 He not only looks like an idiot but looks aggressive/abusive himself!
This pathologist is straight up whack smart. I mean, she makes smart people look dumb. When you major in the history of science as an undergrad while also majoring in molecular biology, you must have impressed your science teachers in high school. Like she's the one sitting next to you in class that has A+ marks on all her quizzes and exams and they always have teacher comments as to how amazing she is.
@@mpalmer7800 she must be smart, very difficult stuff. I think my job requires brainpower but your daughter and the pathologist blow me out of the water
Defense doesn't know how to use a laser pointer? Is told numerous times to use the microphones and just keeps on going without. Let it slide that the injuries on her arms were from knees. Kirk Nurmi could've done a better job and he used the mics properly.
The defense lawyer asked if was possible that the the injuries on Barbara’s forehead and lips was created by her face been forced against the mug at the time of the “accident “ , the pathologist reply’s was yes. Concluding that was no accident, I think Mr. Kendhammer was the one who forced the mug against Barb’s face. I also notice that, in his police interview he took sometime mentioned about Barb’s always bringing a water mug with her. Coincidence????
It should be mandatory that there be a basket of lozenges in every court room, it seems pretty dry or something and I feel like a lot of people cough in courtrooms. That medical examiner's hair is sharp! She carries herself professionally and intelligently. I would trust anything that she says.
My first reaction when seeing something coming towards my car is to brake and turn away,I’ve also seem many new drivers do the exact same thing)I’m a driving instructor).just saying.
Why on all the other ME testimonies they say bruising does not appear for a day or two? Just recently and the Georgia Bureau of Investigations medical examiner testimony in the Rosenbaum trial the death of the two year old foster child trial every medical examiner states that bruising does not occur within several hours. They can tell if a bruise is a week or two old by the coloring. Did he beat Barb for several days before the car accident?.
I'm no ME, but I've had bruises show up as quickly as a couple of hours after impact (legs for me), but also some that showed up after days (feet mainly).
I can’t tolerate the condescending tone of that defense attorney to a highly educated doctor. I am trying to convince myself to watch the rest all the way through but the defense attorney’s stupidity is unbelievable here!
That pipe is too long to be flying around the car and also he admitted pulling it from window so did it go back through the windsheild after beating her? I really wanted to believe him but this is just ridiculous come on man! His hands looked like he was in a fight and the damage to the car was minimal so.... I'm sorry you are guilty sir! Defense att is an as@!
Exactly, he said he pulled it out of the windshield unless it flew around the interior of the car and then logged itself back in the windshield, that statement alone proves his guilt
This idiot is sooooo guilty yet his friends and family are in denial and think he is innocent. He threw away a perfect life for life in prison. All that damage to her body and he sits and says I don’t know - I don’t know - I don’t know how she got those injuries - stranger things have happened he says. Hope he is miserable in Prison!
Yes most Americans would not readily comprehend metric as we use imperial especially when describing dimensions like height weight distance volume etc.
I believe Todd's family knows the truth but decided to stick by him regardless of him beating his wife to her death If for any reason after this trial his family don't believe this was caused from Todd beating his wife they are as sick as Todd
Oh because Todd did them favors and was nice to them! Pay no mind that is exactly what narcissist do to ensure their victim will not be believed, so much that most victims won't even try to tell anyone how it really is. 😢
@@chelleglenney156 yes i have lived it, well said. my question was really about the trial, how do grown folks excuse all the evidence that she was beaten so badly ? thank you and blessings to you
@@chelleglenney156 have you ever seen a man look so happy to go tto prison ? STRANGE DUDE !! on the stand todd reminded me of the keebler elf .....that just burned the last tray of cookies 😅😅😅
Im surprised he isn't sitting there pounding xanax like he was during interrogation. This medical examiner has the patience of a saint. I could hear the gears stopping to a complete halt as to say "dude what"?
Pity you can't here much of what anyone else says other than the witness on the stand. She was brutally beaten, how traumatic her family seeing these autopsy photo's.
I'll settle for a motive ? Or a weapon? To give you an idea why I say that....I was travelling in the same direction of a semi trailer and a wooden block fell off it bounced off the bitumen and smashed through my windscreen. I freaked out but quickly slowed and pulled over. My windscreen was shattered but the block was stuck through the glass. This guy must be a mastermind to kill his wife by bashing her yet there is no crime scene, no motive, no weapon,no dna,no time to meticulously clean up.His first interview was consistent with a guy that was not that smart but at all times refuted he hurt his wife ,while the detectives tried everything for a confession (it was sad really).
russel finch how about him popping a Xanax before the interrogation began? He can’t recall much and talks in circles not saying anything of substance. The interaction was difficult to watch. All the evidence of her injuries made his story out to be nonsensical. He couldn’t answer many questions from the prosecution. I’m surprised he took the stand. This was an easy case for the jury in my opinion
@@enjoyesk8978 he is guilty as sin and a POS murderer but based off your reasoning then everyone who takes a Xanax before interrogation is guilty. If I was innocent I would be popping one too especially if I lost the love of my life that would not make me guilty or look guilty that's illogical. Anxiety would be there during an interrogation with an innocent and guilty person. Even when I know I'm not in trouble I am only taking my prescribed medications but when my job randomly drug tests every employee yearly I am always nervous and shaking so bad.... I don't know why when I've not done anything wrong but I am always like that in situations like that. Even if I'm pulled over for a tail light I think I would be freaking and the always makes a person look guilty even when they aren't. This MF is a MONSTER but the anti anxiety medication is not what makes him look guilty.
I just can't understand the unwavering support from not only her family (Barb's mom even paid for all of Todd's defense) but their friends as well. To believe Todd's completely unbelievable story is hard enough to comprehend but they would also need to truly believe that EMTs, police, investigators, medical professionals, Medical Examiner, witnesses, lawyers, judge are all wrong. That all these professionals would get it so wrong.
I wish Dr. McCubbin could have flipped off the defense attorney as she left the stand... She probably wouldn't (being a professional), but man, I would have loooooved to see it (and the defense attorney's face).
I kinda wish we could see what everyone else is seeing so we can see what she’s referencing. But the key word there is “kinda.” I want to see it but I don’t know if I could deal with seeing a dead body. Although some day I would love to serve on a murder trial. It seems like no one ever wants to go to jury duty. I was called twice, in 2 different states and both times they were able to get all the people they needed before my number was even called. Oh well.
I've seen many. Including a video dining a trial of a man cutting of another man's extremities and then he cut off all the skin covering his chest and stomach exposing everything underneath... Heart lungs, stomach intestines.... He had no skin on his chest and stomach and survived until they pulled his heart out while it was still beating. Jury duty can really vary depending on what case you are called upon to be a jury member. It can be really graphic and sad.
terrible audio! wtf?! why post a video that can barely be heard? the M.E. can be heard while she's on the stand, testifying, but 4get tryna hear attorneys or oth'rs in the courtroom...geez, give 'em a mic already!!! pffftt 🙄
Well it would have to be an over 100k dollar joke from an senior citizen on a fixed income so I don't think so. Makes me sad she spent her retirement for nothing and in fact to help her child's murderer.
OMG, the microphone situation is annoying, they knew the court procedures were going to be filmed, they should have had portable microphones available beforehand....jest saying. FYI, this is the stupidest way to commit homicide and expect everyone to believe this could have been an accident!
Defense attorney: “Isn’t it *possible* that aliens landed their spaceship next to the car and inflicted all the injuries on Ms. Kenhammer using the pipe that crashed through the windshield?” Dr. McCubbin: 👀 👀
Her nails were ripped off working in the cafeteria!? Lol... I'm a chef I own a restaurant, I've worked in industrial kitchens, those hand injuries don't match anything I've ever seen over a 20yr career. I've never received injuries like that or seen anyone I worked with get injuries like that from the kitchen.... The most common injuries for a chef are knife cuts/ slicer injuries to the fingers and oven burns. You can spot a chef by looking at the back of the hands and the top of the forearms, you'll notice multiple burns that are perfectly straight across the top of the forearms and the back of the hands. The burns are from reaching into a large oven to pull something out of the back and accidentally hitting your arm or back of your hand against the hot oven rack... reaching into a large industrial over is like playing the game operation, your trying not to hit your hand on the hot racks above and below you. The safest way to do it is use a long pair of tongs to reach whatever is in the back of the oven but when your in a rush you stick your arm in there. Oven mits usually don't cover all the way to the elbow.. Every chef or kitchen worker has oven burns, next time you see a chef look at their hands and forearms... your not going to see the injuries the defense is claiming!
There's a lot of not lawyers who criticize a lawyer for discrediting the witnesses from the other side, which is their jobs. If the defendant bring in a witness, the other would've done the same. It's there job. In an argument, it's easier to try to discredit the opposition point of view rather than proving your point of view. I guess lawyers supposed to give credits to all the witness regardless of whether it's beneficial for their cases or not. I'm not even a lawyer but these comments kinda get on my nerves. Don't go to the court room and watch trial if you think lawyer should just let the other side bring in witnesses without discrediting them.
Interesting that the juror that said Hello to the Defense atty and got no response is suddenly ill and wants dismissed the same or next day. Just throwing this out there but always wondered if there's ppl who use jury duty as a way to make money using friendly dishonest defense attys willing to buy their vote. The atty was honest, but I bet theres some that'd take a Hello as an invitation to chat. And if you don't complete the case, does the time limit still apply or can you potentially be recalled for duty sooner than 3 years? Just curious.
@@citrusbloom7504 At 1min 36sec into this video, the judge says (to the defense atty) "I excused juror 3292...the one with the cane, not sure if he was the one that said Good Morning" to which the defense atty replies "yes, he was" and the judge says "well, we don't have to worry that then".
