OK, fanboy stuff -- let's get it outta the way: you're awesome, love all the videos and insight. Thanks for keeping things fun and for keeping this up for so many years despite the busy schedule. What I really wanted to say is how much I've enjoyed watching the technical evolution of your work, particularly inking. The line weight variation ("eye candy" I think you call it) has become so smooth and effortless now. Your work has always had a good 'bounce' to it but I think the pencils have been polished to the point where the underdrawing is much more lifelike and the finishes still retain that signature Todd Nauck bounce. The inks get cleaner and cleaner and only serve to accent the finished pencils. As much as I enjoy the sketches, you know this now must be the portion of the comment where I clamor for a glimpse into your interior work process! Gimme thumbnails, perspective grids and lots of erasing (or I guess the Lasso tool for the breakdowns now)! Again, appreciate G

You never cease to amaze me! I have a question if you don't mind. I thicken my lines, too, Todd. However, I often wondered if it matters what you thicken them with. I use Copic pens and Micron pens though I don't mix them of course. I wondered if I should thicken lines with the same pen I started with or use a bigger sized pen. What is your opinion?

I can never get his eyes right…

I have never heard the explanation of the Spider webs on the suit or how you colored the eyes ever explained like you did on this piece. Also explaining the orange in Spider-Man's suit was news to me but makes sense. Now why are the webs on the fingers more of them so close to each other rather than more spaced out like the body?

Your rough sketches have always helped me Todd. What I'm learning to do is create are cyborgs. It's difficult but fun. Any advice on making mechanical characters or objects?

What do you do when inking, when you feel you've made a mistake, such as double lines, or hitting one too hard? Any tips or tricks to hide that?
