It's always so jarring to be reminded that Ef is 18 years old now. The visuals and writing does not reflect that in the slightest which really goes to show how timeless it is!
Congratulations man, you made a video that unironically brought me to tears XD Even ignoring the great love I have for this work, I'm genuinely impressed with how you managed to convey the appeal of this story in a way that doesn't take away from the experience, which is so hard to do. The editing is masterful and smooth, and for those who know, and those who don't yet, this really is a celebration to a truly special story. Reading this put a huge smile on my face and weight off my shoulders. It was a bit more difficult than I first thought, having to skirt around certain lines while alluding to the significance they make have. I was fretting over certain sections wondering how they could be better, but seeing you write this out really puts me at ease. Really hoping this will convice at least a few people to give Ef a chance, as well as see what other thinks of it. Ef truly needs more recognition for the beautiful story that it is. Could not be more honored that this video could evoke that much emotion. Reading this has made it all worthwhile. Thank you!

Ef is a story about people in its brutally honest, yet simultaneously blindingly hopeful form. Everything from the editing of scenes, sprites, and the direction, to the little details you ommitted to make sure the video can be fully enjoyed was so masterfully done!
That makes me happy to hear! It is such a moving story and wanted to convey even a fraction of the emotion it holds. Really glad the time put into the edititing was worth it, and honestly, it was so much easier thanks to you providing the sprites! I don't even want to to think about the time it would have taken to find and painstakingly cut out each one. The ommiting part was definitely the most difficult as there is so many things I wanted to touch on! That's why I want to do another Ef video in the future, to dive a bit deeper. I'm thinking of an analysis on Yuu as he was one of my favorites alongside Yuuko. The more thought put into it, the more I really come to appreciate the characters and how they deliver the story's message!
