I have taken many photos and videos in Tsukiji Honganji. You just have to be really quite and not disturb others. Noone said anything to me. I got few stamps too😀 this video refreshed memories
One of my best Uni experiences is at place in Tsukiji market called Unitora Nakadori.... had their sampler dish of 5 types of Uni from different prefectures....hope all these businesses will see through this period

I am so shock & sad to see so few tourists there now, hope the small businesses can survive. We will come visit when we can travel to Japan again. I really love the sushi & seafood there. Tsukiji was so packed for lunch when we were there in 2017 that we have to wait for 20 minutes to be seated. And food there is expensive but very fresh! But still you can find a better restaurant outside Tsukiji with less cost. It's the experience though that we paid for, I think.
I love your honesty and feedback about prices and places. As tourist we never really know if prices are cheap or expensive as most of us overspend in food 🥘 due to the fact that we are in Japan for a short time. I will take all your suggestions in to consideration next time I’m in Tsukiji p.
