This is how I remember the Setagaya Line! I lived in Setagaya-ku for most of the 1990's and would use the train when visiting the ward office. I was in Tokyo just a couple of weeks ago and noticed the Setagaya Line cars are now more sleek and modern-looking.
Hi taiwan1895, Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment. I was attracted to this line because it was running older equipment, albeit refurbished. The 70 series cars are from t he 40s, refurbished in the late 80s/early 90s. The 80 series cars are from 1950, also refurbished in the late 80s/early 90s. Japan is great because there are still older trams and trains operating, and without problems. I have published several other Japanese videos which you might find interesting. Cheers, tassiebaz. 😃
