All TM guns are packaged like that, from the big guns all the way down to the AEP's. Also, TM also makes BB's in Japan, and their BB's in the box are the same and of good quality
While TM is a _spectacular_ company, I want to say that they had to hold back on the cosmetics and mag cap just a little bit since this is the first EAS (I think it sounds better than AES) of its kind. It would be interesting to see what some of the prototypes were like before settling on this design.
Well Tokyo Marui recently announced a gas blowback Saiga 12 and I’m guessing the build quality and internals will be even better because of it being newer.
Somthing wierd about the aa12 in real life is that it is full auto only your trigger finger is your select fire but it makes sense that the airsoft version is select fire because some Fields don't allow full auto.
Nice video, but for all who want this gun, it will die on any battery over 8,4v nmh or 7,4 lipo and if you used an battery over these, you wont get your money back because the manuel says dont use anything more powerful.
I've never been a tri barrel fan even the gas shotguns, I don't like that the barrel are never uniform each barrel kind of does what it wants but the fact that you can tune each hop up you can probably get a nice small consistent spread
That would be pretty nuts. In a good way but I wouldn't want it to be shell ejecting. Not sure why so many people were wishing this would be shell ejecting.
Since this review the SGR-12 has appeared which looks like a gun, not like a plastic box (I know the real AA-12 looks like that too), and I actually like that one, but still, $550 for a shotgun... it's too much for my taste.
I expected a sound which was like "Boom, chu-ka" for any pump shotguns and "Boom, boom, boom" for any semi auto / full automatic shotguns. What I got / heard in reality - "SHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
So far, I'm not too impressed. I have no doubt that it's a decent gun, with it being a TM and all, but for $420+ I was expecting more. I probably wouldn't consider getting this gun until there's a GBB version with a drum mag. It is an AA12 after all.
+The Weak and Pitiful Trixie shell fed green gas/propane shotguns would easily make it through 30 shots in that mag with one charge. The drum mag however would be pretty impractical unless you had a huge gas block to work with.
Realty TM 2016 and your putting plastic sling mounts on high end guns? Come on your supposed to be a premier manufacturer. Do IR properly, he'll make out of stainless like the real gun, while your at it beef up your next gen recoil mech and stick in inside this gun too. Bother you may have something really special.
Bro I know you're mad about the sling mounts but I've saw many people complaining about the polymer body. They don't realize they are from Japan and gun laws are different. They shouldn't have metal bodies or they would look to real for Japan.
+Parker Staten on top op the actual aa12 is not a metal gun and is known for having next to no recoil they are being true to the original gun on top of all of this
very nice and pretty gun and shoots more then one shot which is great but I wish it had kick so it doesn't feel puny cuzz its supposed to be a shotgun but its a great gun
needs a holo sight. I still can't figure out why (in the real world) the military doesn't use these. it runs with hardly any oil, which would be advantageous in dusty climates where most conflict is at the moment.
Still in test phase. Future plans involve having a AA12( gunner) in squads that are going into urban environments, equipped with both frag drums and 12 gauge 00 buckshot loaded straight magazines for room clearing. With the frag drum intended for engaging Opfor in windows or rooms with no clear engagement opportunities. AA12 will be used as a lighter and more adaptable weapon akin to the XM 25 project.
+genogary88 I have a Tokyo marui p226 that I bought in the US and it still had a Japanese instruction manual. these are meant only for Japanese markets so marui doesn't bother making it in English
