We recently visited Tokyo and decided to stay near Shinjuku instead of in the bustling district itself.
And let me tell you, we loved it!
While Shinjuku is great for shopping, dining, and nightlife, staying nearby allowed us to experience a quieter side of Tokyo.
We were still just a short train ride away from all the action, but we also got to explore charming neighborhoods and local markets that most tourists miss.
Plus, our accommodation was more affordable and spacious compared to what we would have found in Shinjuku.
So, if you're looking for a balance of convenience and tranquility, consider staying near Shinjuku on your next trip to Tokyo.
