Tom will never know this, but he is responsible for getting families together in New England every Sunday for two decades. He's also responsible for billions of dollars made by New England businesses over that period. And because of him, people, who had not spoken to each other for many years, found their way back to friendship, thanks to his brilliance. There will never ever be another Tom Brady.
Notice how Foxborough was half empty the season Drew Bledsoe took the Pat's to the superbowl? By Bradys second superbowl the bandwagon fans all came out of the woodwork.
People said that if Mahomes wins 8 super bowls, he can surpassed Tom Brady, but the reality for me is that Mahomes will not catch Tom because look at what Tom Brady did as a 199th pick. Mahomes was drafted in the 1st round. More is expected of a1st round QB than someone who was drafted 199th. Another words what Mahomes is doing is not shocking because he has tons of talent. What Tom did is because of his determination, discipline, work ethic and his insane competitive spirit to win games. Thank you GOAT for all you did and the sacrifice you made to be the GOAT.
That’s not a fair argument. All players regardless of draft numbers are expected to win and have talent. To me the best nfl player in history is the best because of just simply being the best. It’s that simple and I personally think Patrick Mahomes is already the best nfl player in history. Tom Brady won 7 super bowls, absolutely awesome but he sucked in the nfl though. He coasted off his elite teammates. Brady had many bad plays by himself.
@@austinshannon4197 But it also true that more is expected of of those players who were drafted in the first day than those drafted in the 2nd day and these players sign more lucrative contracts from the the get go. Most Super Bowls have been won by those QB taken in the first 3 rounds than super bowls won by QB taken in round 4,5,6,7. Don't believe, look it up. If you don't think that Mahomes was born more physically gifted than Tom, you are also fooling yourself. Patrick's dad was a MLB player. The reality is Tom Brady, Brock Purdy, and Kurt Warner were not supposed to make it in the NFL. They were considered very long shots to make it to a super bowl. This year, if Purdy, beats Mahomes in the Super Bowl, which I don't think he will, it will be amazing. Purdy was selected dead last in the draft.
That just pumped me up big time. How id love to turn back the clock and start 23 years all over again. What a ride! I’m 50 years old and no athlete I’ve seen has been quite like Tom. Jordan was close but IMO Brady has raised the bar. Montana, Rice, Bird, Magic…Brady outshined them all.
Thanks Tom for all the years . Sundays will never be the same. Got to see him play several times twice on my birthday. Favorite game was playoff game against the Colts 2005. The snow ,the crowed. Awesome defense and beating Payton again. The best. Thanks for the memories.
The perfect song for his career. He came in as a back up and leaves as the GOAT. He is not close to perfect but he is closer to legend than just being great. Even if you don't believe he is the GOAT, even if you hated him, you have to admit that he is incredible and that his passion will be forever unbeatable by anyone before and after his retirement. Tom Brady is him and he did it his way.
When i read the news about Brady’s retirement the first thing that came to my mind was this song. He is my sports idol and he is the reason why I love the NFL so much. I am from Brazil and it was pretty hard to watch the NFL down here. The first game I watched was Patriots vs Eagles in 2005 and since then i never missed a single Brady game. I grew up watching him play and the nights I spent cheering for him in my parents house and in the end in my own house will never be forgotten. Thank you for everything Tom! For the the sweetest memories you have left us, for the victorious feeling that you made us feel (like we have won by your side) and for inspiring us, showing that with the mind and the heart in the right place, we can achieve everything. I am glad i had the joy to see you play. The NFL won’t be the same without you
@@margaret3458 this is my first comment lol and im just saying facts or you will say im wrong? Werent miami, bills and jets trash teams? Yes they were so pats would always make the playoffs easily with no injuries and difficulties
@@panditas7679 😋😋 I’m just messing with ya! I don’t take social media too seriously, definitely not want to go back-and-forth. I truly hated the patriots lol I just have an appreciation for quarterbacks and there was a time that I couldn’t stand Tom Brady, but that kind of changed either way I think he’s a good dude and now that he’s retired, we’ll see how football changes now that he’s out of the game😋
@@marcusq832: It took 65 years for a QB to tie the great "Automatic Otto" Graham's 7 Rings. TB12 did it! You will never see another like TB12 in our lifetime. No way!
@@marcusq832: Trust me dude! No QB will ever top TB12's achievements. Let's look at just "some" of TB12's achievements: 7 X World Champion, 5 X World Champion MVP, 3 X NFL MVP, 15 X Pro Bowler, and he owns most NFL QB records. He's also won World Championships in both the AFC and NFC. That's never been done before. Until another QB tops TB12, (which I don't think will happen) he'll remain the GOAT QB, hands down.
@@MGB18 See that’s the thing. He’s the G.O.A.T. I’ll say that, but I can’t say no one will ever top him. Look @ Patrick Mahomes he’s got that potential. Caleb Williams looks dangerous in college so I wonder what he’ll do in the NFL if & when he makes it. I respect your take though big baw.
This goes way beyond, something I have ever ♥ heard. TOM, you are the very best!!! We miss you already!!!!! Frank tells it all, the record show's, I did it my way... 💪💪💪👏👏👏👍👍🏈🏈🎉🎉🎉🎉!!!!!!!
Very touching. Ive been a Brady fan his entire collegiate and pro career. Sunday's will never be the same. Thank you Tom, for so many years of great football. I pray God's blessings for you on the next chapter of your life,
As a grown man I watch this with tears in my eyes. Not because I'm sad because because I'm so fortunate to have seen his whole career. Some of my favorite sports memories are his comebacks and super bowls. I shed a tear that we will never see his like again, thank you Tom Brady now enjoy your life and family.
Well done Mr. Nugget I've been a pats fan all my life through the lean years too and I'm 73 so you know I've seen a lot. We have been so blessed to have Tom as our quarter back for all these years . I watched all the Tampa games too always be a Brady fan no matter what. No hard feelings that he went to Tampa at all , lets go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This dude has accomplished more in his 45 years than most people do in a lifetime, coming from a lifelong Bronco fan here, I can admire what he has done and we will NEVER see anybody go to 10 Superbowls or win 7 ever again in my lifetime. Tom had a brilliant career and he in my opinion is the GOAT of GOATS. Go relax now Tom you've earned it!!!!!
@@polpol1005: The majority is against you, and the other totally ignorant and salty "so called" experts and fans. lol. That's never been done before. lol. I know it hurts your feelings, but TB12 is most definitely the GOAT QB. To think otherwise is totally ignorant.
I smiled through the entirety of this. What a ride. I love football because of Tom Brady. It sucks that we won’t get to see him play anymore.. but the memories remain. Forever grateful!
You killed me with this! Been a major Brady Homer ever since I realized how wrong I was after saying we were done when Drew went down. Spent 20+ years sucking it up as a Patriots fan, then I got Tom and had 18 years (he was out one) of the best I could've reasonably hoped for. If we had the ball, less than 2 minutes to go, down 7 or less, it was either a win or overtime. Never experienced that kind of confidence in any QB. I will miss you Tom!!!
Being an Eagles fan I was scared shitless that he had the ball for the last 9 seconds of Super Bowl 52 when we were up by 8 and he has basically at the 30-40 yard line and I was like “oh know I’ve seen this before”, but that was the one time we got lucky. Congrats on the greatest career of all time in any sport Tom, you deserve it. No matter what the haters say REAL football fans cannot deny that.
Being from R.I.and a lifelong Pat's fan, in my 65 yrs of life I couldn't have wished for a better 23 yrs of football....and no other franchise will ever have the success of the N.E. patriots....Thank you so much Tom. It went by TO damn fast.!!
Cool 👍. I only got to see him live once. Last year in Munich. It was his first game and now also the last in Germany. This memory will always remain. Thank you Tom Brady. ❤️🇩🇪👍🙋♀️
Brady's story is unlike any other. No one ever wanted him, at Michigan he had to fight to start, in the NFL he was drafted 199th. He was an underdog that became the GOAT by sheer will. How is that not the ultimate American story? This man had no family lineage in the NFL and just made his dreams happen through will and hard work.
Outstanding!! I smiled throughout the entire tribute to the one and only GREATEST OF ALL TIME. It has been a pleasure to watch Tom throughout his illustrious career.

Beautifully done. A multi-generational inspirational icon! In person I saw the GOAT put together his 58th and final come from behind victory Christmas night!
This man is not just awesome as a player, he's amazing, he's the GOAT in American football and nobody can denied! Thanks kid for always doing your job 23 seasons of joy! I'm PATRIOT for ever and Brady fan always!
This is the blueprint God put up when he was designing the ultimate man and human being. On the build sheet is passion, competitiveness, leadership, drive, resiliency, vision, intelligence, accuracy, determination, and most importantly: the heart of a champion. A man that will stop at nothing to achieve what he sets out to do. If Tom Brady decided today he would sign with another team and win yet another championship I would bet my life he could accomplish that.
As a patriots fan, it was fun having Brady and I think most of us will miss him, after 23 years showing that he’s the goat and no one can outshine what he has done or even acomplish
Wow! Great tribute to an amazing career. Tommy’s work ethic and discipline were incomparable to any other. As a Patriot fan, I’m thankful for your time there. Consummate professional. ❤
I’m an honors film major from UCSC and this is one of the finest most emotion invoking pieces of football editing I’ve ever seen. And in that particular category, trust me I’ve seen a lot.
I am a die hard Dolphins fan who watched Miami from a very young age with my father, Brady was THE arch nemesis for so many years. The ultimate bad guy. However, in later years, Miami did seem to have New England's number in Miami, but more importantly, I grew to really respect Brady as the GOAT & even followed/cheered for him in Tampa. I wish he was staying in the league, but it looks like that decision costed him his marriage last year, so I get it. Hopefully, we'll see him around doing commentary. The NFL will miss Brady.
There will NEVER be anyone like him. Watching him play and being a fan cannot be described. The intensity. highs and lows are memories that will always be there. Thank you Tom Brady, there will NEVER be another like you ❤.
