Nope its not like that all if it was like that you yourself would be giving yourself a mission and doing your own thing. Instead we the ghost are too awsome for everyone so we have the cia give us a tight leash on us all.
@@enterprisethesylveon5787 heck I am not an ubisoft game designer but if they really wanted to be clever. They would have made the campaign system much more funner in both rewarding and discouraging.
@@enterprisethesylveon5787 like for example if you the player were try to dismantle the cartel security front it would actually show that the cartel would be slow in response to you the player or something. Now if you wanted to discourage the player lets say you were to attack and disable the subblies or whatever without taking out the security. The Cartel boss gets mad and order his security division to start murdering people in villages and now your force to attack this division to stop them from doing that any further.
This trailer was so good that I preordered the game at the time, now years later I’m still rewatching this trailer. Still one of the best open world games I ever played
I never played any Ghost Recon games before. Then I bought Breakpoint and Wildlands in November 2021 because they were on sale. Started with Breakpoint and I liked it a lot. After that I tried Wildlands and damn... It's superior to Breakpoint in every aspect except graphics
"How do you fight an enemy that doesnt fear death?" Also the Santa Blanca: *tells you exactly what you want and gives up their allies after threatening to kill them for 5 seconds*
Think about it, Santa Blanca is dealing with an enemy that despite being only 4 guys, is out matching them battle after battle, killing everybody in their bases without a single word, and they call themselves, Ghosts, in which by definition are: a manifestation of the dead, usually depicted as coming back for the afterlife to haunt, warn, or even kill. of course they'll be scared shitless and give up info when they show up.
I think you don't understand what they said. Cartels (in real life and in this case, in game) don't fear death because they believe they are protected by Santa Muerte. It isn't until they are vulnerable that they fear death because death is front of them.
@@pongsatonrattanapriyanuch7331 Nomad is a major in Wildlands more likely, Cole was with him in service and they both get promoted to lieutenant colonel where they part ways.
I was expecting El Sueno re-started his cartel business chain in other country, and formed a strategic alliance with other cartels/mercenaries to prevent Ghost Recon ruining him again. The story would begin with Bowman trying to get El Sueno with GR again but El Sueno became smarter this time. The strategic alliance of cartel and mercenaries would ambush GR team and kidnap Bowman. Then it turned out the mercenaries were called Wolves lead by Cole Walker, the former ghost. That’s why GR team got ambushed easily and Bowman kidnapped. Because of disappointment, Waker became rogue Ghost turning his back against his once trusted friend, Nomad. Then they could introduce the relationship between Walker and Nomad. Basically the same structure, but only this time there were two bosses, El Sueno and Walker (or make Walker a paid huge DLC with Rainbow and SC co-op). With Bowman MIA, the GR’s temporary handler could be Grim or Sam. And GR could finally put a bullet between El Sueno’s eyes this time. I would totally buy the game.
Best game I’ve ever played. Played duo co-op and years later i still think about how they managed to make such a great story and experience. Wildlands 2 should be a thing
@@onigames6170 AI teammates are fun and powerful. They are also supportive on the highest difficulty (Extreme Difficulty). Just tell them what to do and they will do it. You need to support them at the same time, so they can help you to progress. There's an extra teammate which is the rebel group in the game. If you upgrade their ability to the max, they are the second most efficient teammates you have.
What is it with bad guys ALWAYS leaving flammable barrels in their bases?! Come on, lets have some basic health and safety here guys. I know I certainly wouldn't work for an international criminal syndicate if they didn't have inspectors in regularly to ensure that they're meeting health and safety standards put forward under the Health and Safety at Work act 1974.
Still play it to this day. Easily one of my favorites. The map size is HUGE, & the game can look really nice during the day as an added bonus. When it goes on sale nowadays, it's usually only a few bucks. Would recommend it to everyone.
@@Davidjon1946 So did I, lol. Small world. I just got off of it for tonight, helping a friend with Ghost Mode at the moment. Enjoy the game, man! One of Ubisoft's best.
Hi farhan , I was planning to buy a new game for my xbox one s , i was looking for watch dogs legion but then came accross ghost recon wildlands , So do you think this is a great game to buy? .Lemme know what you think about it
@@syedmubashshir2631 breakpoint had a rough start because of the gear score systems and the bugs. It's good now. But Wildlands is way better. Zero competition
@@farhansadikrownak4474 If i am buying it , i will be buying the CD version , so if i buy breakpoint (cuz its cheaper) it will run perfectly fine right?
+Kinky Raisin You really don't know what 4k is don't you? 4K screens have about 8 million pixels, which is around four times what your current 1080p set can display. Doesn't really seem you use much logic at all...
It's a shame you couldn't choose who to capture or kill in-game, it's sort of the vibe I got from the trailer. Still had a lot of fun with this one, good on Ubisoft for moving forward, even if it cost me my right arm for the game and season pass.
Fixer4U the mission here is completely different to what we actually got instead we had capture some random guy with intel and there were way more guards
@@crappywifi3128 it indeed was but unlike the other ones this one was really fun. Taking out a guy with a unsuppressed sniper from a mountaian was the best feeling I ever had
Actually since the average adults arm cost 100-200 k and the game costed only about 70-150 depending on if you bought the stuff on sale, the price of the game is relative to about 1 g of bone marrow where you still make some profits (iirc)
@@SonOfHubris no wildlands is still superior, Ive been playing breakpoint for a week now and it’s good and in a better place but it can never top exploring the salt flats and jungles of Bolivia.
@@captainstu wildlands has a better environment, but after the updated breakpoint has much better all around gameplay, but I'll still say that wildlands has a feeling that breakpoint could never get.
Ubisoft Please, Please, Please, Please I don't care when the game is coming Just PLEASE take your time to make this game look like the trailer PLEASE!!!!! Even if it takes another 5 years just keep woriking to make the game look like this Rainbow 6 Siege is till now the BEST game ya ever developed make sure this game will beat R6S
are you kidding me ??? the best game they made is Rainbow six siege ??? are you a new gamer or what ?? this game is the shit of the best games they made try something like Far Cry 3 and you will know how ubisoft should develop their new games I don't know how the FUCK does they release 10 games per year if they combined all of the work teams they have and they made them develop one game this game will be in every gamer's house it will be a MASTERPIECE but ubisoft got very selfish in the last years and they will close their studios one by one if they didn't stop that selfishness I hope they realise the big mistake they are making or the consequences will be very bad for them
Do you honestly fucking think theyre not going to downgrade? It took them 4 years with the division and its shitty and downgraded I HIGHLY DOUBT they're not gonna downgrade.
TripleX205 No way in hell they'll pull a Ghost Recon game with this hype. Ubisoft gets a bad rep but you have to admit that they don't mess up on their Tom Clancy games.
Matt Walton +Crash Bandicoot And future soldier dumbed down, dudebro, unoptimized, "You are in a military but you must unlock weapons through challenges because logic"-shitty style game. Then Ghost Recon online which fucked itself over with bad business decisions. Do we doubt it? HAVE YOU FUCKING SEEN UBISOFT IN 2014?
YouJustGotMemed 420 Well, a lot of glitches were fixed, they released pvp, and the npc teammates weren't so bad. I loved that game, and, DLCs included, i'm still playing it.
Andrea Baschieri I admit they have upped their game Ubisoft and the pvp looks decent but when the objective is to not destroy the truck, your teammates shoot at it and destroy it and you have to start the mission all over again
samsutliff for me too, but remember, you can never trust in Ubisoft, now we see The Division has significative downgrade. The good thing is that Rainbow Six Siege still looks awesome
Best trailer for a game. Hands down. It doesn’t try and over deliver. Has the absolute best transition ever at 1:54 and an amazing song choice. Friction is a great song.
+Dustin Martin ha ha HA HA HAHAHAHAHA OH MY GOOD GOD IT'S SO FUCKING FUNNY AND IRONIC "WATCH DOGS"! HA!! IT'S LIKE NO ONE EVER SAID THIS ABOUT UBISOFT A BILLION FUCKING TIMES FOR SHITS AND GIGGLES.
Oldstalk Funny think about "graphic is better on pc" it's a lie ;D for example GTA 5 have better textures on Console's version but problem is 30 FPS ;p About this trailer i can tell only 3 words: Watchdogs trailer =/= gameplay So this game and The Division will sucks, i'm sure. If not i would buy it.
***** GTA5 got better texture capacity on PC. Last-Gen Consoles version is limited to 2K textures with only a bunch of 4K texture now and then for big assets while the PC version got 4K textures capacity. (PS3 and Xbox360 are limited to 1K textures with only some 2K texture now and then). But even with that said, it needs not only a powerful PC to run at max settings, but also the right hardware. Consoles are pretty much "What you get, everyone gets" for between half and a forth of the PC's price (depending on your access to hardware and its related price). As for this video, I agree that we only see a slight part of it and it's mostly a montage to hide the faulty part of the current Pre-Alpha. Cut the hours of bad things and only keep the best minutes in the hours of footage. That's how every gaming company (with some indie devs doing the exception) does since the end of the 90's.
TheMagicalDonutFTW no, just that i can really tell the truth about some famous cities, like Venice, or Rome... have you ever been in one of them? Well i have, and i can say that they are not so good like what you see in the tv or internet. So i can imagine how a country is, even if different from the stereotypes
I can recommend this game to anyone that thinks about buying it. Great story, superb gameplay and I did enjoy the massive map. Also I like the idea of being a special forces operator conducting missions in a third world country. The fact that you can customize your character is also pretty decent. Very nice game, thats for sure. Only thing that annoys me a little bit is that something like Levolution from Battlefield is missing, you can't blow up houses or so, which would be fun and woul perfectly fit in the concept of an open world. But I can live with that.
Customization is the best for me. You can play as whatever, CIA SOG, Green Berets, SEALs, Russian Alpha, SAS, even Colombian Search Bloc (anti-drug unit similar to Unidad) from Narcos (the series depict the unit pretty accurate)
Why is everyone complaining about graphics? It's the gameplay that makes a game good, not the damn graphics. Also this is why I love Tom Clancy games, unlike other games, they take the time to get most things right and to make the game as close to real life as possible, plus dem Tom Clancy bots
What the fuck are you talking about? Have you forgotten The Division or any of the new AC games? Ubisoft doesn't give a shit about quality anymore, they just crave money just as bad as EA.
Again a kid talking about graphics but don't have the pc to run on Ultra. The downgrade is here because they have to make the game for everyone with bad or good pcs. So stop cry about graphics and focus on gameplay. Some still play Counter Strike, and this is not about graphics but about gameplay. That's all.
If they actually made a proper game for once, both good and bad PCs could play it, without either of them having a bad visual experience. Sure, gameplay is a major part in a game, but advertising a game with really good graphics, and then releasing a sub par game graphics wise, is bullshit.
Jordy Calvin Because, it's 2016; developers should be able to make a game that has amazing graphics and incredible gameplay. Only one I've seen do both is Naughty Dog and Rockstar.
Ubisoft Makes great trailers Makes great demos Hype us with unique gameplay AND after we pay a great deal of money for that shit we get a Graphics Downgrade Contents that was promised missing Looks nothing like what the trailer was showing us
Yes that is true for most Ubisoft games but this is Ubisoft Paris making this and they made the advanced warfighter and future soldier games which were great. So wait for the beta and then decide because I have faith in Ubisoft Paris to give us a promised game
I felt Watch Dogs 2 was too easy, you could just take out entire facilities using generators and gas pipes and there was no punishment for killing which made the taser useless compared to a suppressed pistol
Coming back to look at this, I'm honestly surprised that they didn't really misrepresent the game here. It looks quite like it does in the Open beta now. It's not great quality, but it's still consistent to what they showed back then.
Lord Obama riding a unicorn while shooting rainbows out of his hands and shit. I agree that The Witcher 3 looked good... but no way near as good as this.
Watching my country (Bolivia) as the main scenario of this game is amazing! I also liked how they portrayed the street markets and the landscapes. However, I never saw someone here praising La Santa Muerte, that's more from Mexico or Colombia XD
@@andromedagalaxynebula5751 La Santa Muerte is an idol, female deity or folk saint in Mexican and Mexican-American neo-pagan folk Catholicism. That's the deity the Santa Blanca Cartel worship. He was speaking about the deity, not the cartel itself
Also in the game's opening cinematic it is explained that the Santa Blanca Cartel come from Mexico, so them worshiping a Mexican folk deity makes sense.
shame the bolivian government didnt see it like you. because of their uproar ubisoft is too scared to set new games in real locations for fear of upsetting ppl again. hence breakpoints drab map
Plus 1 this so everyone can see: The graphics on PC ended up better than the trailer, and the graphics on Xbox and Playstation got a tiny downgrade to almost nothing at all.
Saw this trailer 8yrs ago....didnt had enough money to buy gaming pc.... But right now I'm in a well condition....so I will definitely going play this masterpiece ❤
The amount of weapons, attachments and everything else. Its just so good. So many features that are all used. The rebel support options, drone, squad options. Loved every part of it.
Ghost Recon looks like it's going back to its tactical roots The new Doom looks awesome Dishonored 2 has been announced A new Deus Ex It's going to be a expensive year.
***** Skyrim's story was pretty basic, and that's pretty important or an RPG. Not to mention the rpg mechanics were watered down to appeal to a wider audience. It's still a good game, and there's a heck of a lot of content, which is always commendable, just not up to the standards I was hoping. I enjoyed it, just not as much as Oblivion. When it comes to Fallout, 3 was good but had at best so-so writing and a story peppered with plotholes. Not to mention somebody thought it a great idea to limit levelling up to level twenty. Being a massive OCD completionist, that really messed with me. Long story short is that I'm afraid that Bethesda are going to do the same to Fallout 4. I expect a great game, just not an incredible one.
sainsburyshopper The obvious response would be that we *need* the level cap to support the *survival theme*. There is no magic in _Fallout_, only powerful guns and other explosives. If a non-armored character gets hit by a bullet there has to be consequences no matter how powerful they are (the Player is still made of flesh and bones). If the levels were to progress increasingly higher but your character can still be decapitated by bullets, as a Player, you would in turn think levels were useless to begin with. I understand your frustration but there are alternative ways at becoming "OverPowered" in _Fallout_ than you would in _The Elder Scrolls_. (Namely, the loot (armor, land mines, etc.) and carefully chosen perks) -In these games story isn't necessarily as important as the side quests and other engagement the game world provides.
I come back to this trailer so often, this is a master class in how to reveal a game and I would say it is probably the greatest reveal trailer ever made
This is the heart of the ghost recon though, the original developers imagined a massive war and your influence on that war as you act as the spear head. Tom Clancy's books weren't about stealth, they were about realism, and this is as real as it gets. Tom Clancy would be more than glad for this modern take on this book, and if you don't think so than you obviously don't really know tom Clancy.
Diego Santos the division isn't even written by tom Clancy. the book nor the game. therefore the only thing that involved him and the book/game was his name. therefore his name isn't "being used in vein" as there was nothing disrespected about him however, the ghost recon games are true to the realism of his books and have been worked on by a separate team. in fact i would argue that the only game with poor quality was the division and noticing how bad they do when they part from the realistic formula i strongly believe that they can only improve from there.
One of the best games I’ve ever played. As I compare it with the latest Tom Clancy, this game, as old as it is, still tops breakpoint. Wildlands is perfect for real life, intense, secretive warfare. It’s for players who look to be realistic and fight in modern environments. Breakpoint is for those who like futuristic fighting, with everything against you at all times. Wildlands is definitely one of the best games made by Ubisoft (Tom Clancy). Perfect open word free roaming, amazing (and simple) customization, and truly an amazing combat experience. An insight into special forces and what they go up against.
MisterRobko it was down graded didnt you see the motorcyclethe running the graphics they clearly took a lot of things off the game dont get me wrong im am an gr wild lands owner its a greta game anyways but theyve downgraded it the motorcycle dosnt sound lije the trailer and doesnt move liie the trailer when they go running down hill in the actual game they dont run lik3 that anywayw im going back to play it now
Why would people compare this to the division. Two very different games. They both rely on strategy, are third-person, and are made by ubisoft. That's it. The ghost recon franchise is mainly single player or co-op.
Because they're both from Ubisoft and they're both tom clancy games. In all seriousness, people really like to assume everything from what little we've seen so far
I've been replaying this recently, and I think the sad thing about this game is that they prioritized scope over depth. The stuff they show in this trailer would have been doable on a smaller scale.
For the guys who says the graphics are gonna be downgraded, the graphics are NOT gonna be downgraded for Wildlands at any point go watch gameplay on pc in ultra it is the SAME graphics than the trailer so stop saying the game is gonna be downgraded AND the final version of the game is not even close to be released and in this time, there can be a lot of amelioration and optimization... just saying
