It's a weird one for me, it ranges in scent from an old ladies purse to rich, seductive honey-choco spice flowers depending on the day. The first time i smelled it I hated it, then I smelled it again years later and absolutely loved it. I wore it a few times and then kinda got away from it. I went back to it and its almost as if the scent character had changed and different notes had come to the forefront. For that reason I have to respect it but I'll usually reach for something else.

I got about 20 deep into my fragrance collection, then bought Black Orchid......I'm like damn! What am I going to do with all my other colognes??...I wear it day, night, rain or shine; its totally "me"...it is the most amazing fragrance I own, and have ever smelled. CHICKS DIG IT! (Why do you wear scents?? I do for the chicks!)......serious as a heart attack, I have attracted no more women, or gotten any more compliments than I have with Black Orchid! Fucking amazing! (but not if you have zero confidence)

Finally decided to pull the trigger on this one because I somehow got selfcouncious about it being a femenine fragance. Truth is I enjoy it and it works on my skin. I layer it with a little Ombre Leather if I'm semi-formal and it works so good, it's ridiculous.

this the first fragrance i ever smelled that transformed to different stages. starts off as a “ floral-esk old lady scent but when that chocolate kicks in it’s amazing “ it’s very “ different you gotta dress a certain way to wear this my supervisor wears this casually and it just doesn’t match him bc he’s wearing a security uniform wearing it

I own a bottle and have to say it’s a weird love hate relationship. The first spray you get this very strong smell that reminds me a lot of old spice after shave or that original shaving cream smell which I really don’t like. But give it half an hour or so to mellow out on your skin, it smells like a dark rainy forest. I really love that earthy, woodsy smell it gives off. Its definitely not my go to but I keep a 50ml bottle on hand and wear it sometimes. I do get compliments from it but idk, I like it some days and hate it others.

This is the one fragrance that evokes so many emotions from me. It reminds me of Halloween. I think because of that "rubbery" smell it maybe makes me think of a mask or those fog machines. I can't quite put my finger on it.

I was interested in buying this after watching Dacre Montgomery. The best description of this I can give is an intense strong mix of Dark sour fruits in a smokey musky blend. When it’s first sprayed, it smells too strong and isn’t very appealing but the longer it sits on your skin and the longer you have it on, it smells better and becomes more tolerable. Definitely recommend it for winter/autumn. It’s strong and warm, the fruity floral notes aren’t sweet and light they’re coarse and strong. I’ve yet to buy a full bottle but I find it’s performance and uniqueness intriguing enough for me to invest in it. As much as it says it’s a unisex scent, it really isn’t, it’s way too coarse and musky.

Great review as always. Have you tried oud 24 similar to black orchid, but not a clone. I think it's better not as floral similar cacao dry down and last for ages. Cost in the UK for oud 24 £12. TF £76+ Check it out if you can Cuba, it's a hidden gem
