I originally didn't see him as a handsome face. What I found amazing about him is how he is such a wonderfully genuine and gentlemanly person. I haven't seen an actor like him, ever. He was kind and actually well-spoken from what you can obviously see in this video. It was about 1 week later that I started to see how handsome he was but I think a majority of it was because of his wonderful aura and personality. Any female would be attracted to a man who had the same personality as Tom Hiddleston
That's what happened to me. I didn't find him handsome, quite the opposite until I watched him and got a sense of who he is. Now I'm obsessed, he's beautiful 😍
It was exactly the same with me!!! I saw him in a couple of films and was like 'what's the whole fuzz is about?? Yes, he's a wonderful actor but handsome? Nah' and then I occasionally saw him in some talk show and was 'wow! Now I got it!!! He's incredibly naturally charming and genuine!’ Yeh, it's Tom's personality that's so beautiful and that beauty seeps through his physical appearance. Well, yes, he's naturally well built and stuff but it doesn't appeal to me as much as his soft calm voice and boyish laughter do!
I didn't find him attractive at all (at first). Then I saw him dance on a talk show, that got my attention, then somehow I ended up where I am now....miserable and obsessed
I think that the thing I find most impressive about Hiddleston is his ability to dissect the emotion of whatever it is he is acting in. It's almost like he can pick up on exactly where his character is coming from and instantly sympathize with them and in that way build a character that seems very real to the audience. It is truly an admirable talent.
i dont just love his looks, i see a very cheerful, intellectual and smart man also. he has a wonderful sense of humour and i would love the chance to meet him

a handsome man with more than a pretty face, a heart and a mind i'd list the many things but everyone before me has already done so, everything about him is just enchanting, really he's the sort of guy you'd want in your life somewhere as a husband, a lover, or even just a best friend, whomever said there was no one who could reach perfection clearly never met Tom, the world got Loki'd by his existance, and i think we all love him for it :)
He is so cheerful and articulate. Also the kindness in his face is just remarkable. This man appears to have no guile; hes humble, sensitive and intelligent. Just perfect ... if that is even possible.
I absolutely agree. He's such an incredibly talented actor, which is, quite frankly, pretty rare in mainstream films today. Not that there's anything wrong with recognizing how attractive he is...it certainly hasn't escaped my notice. I just think we should celebrate him for both his looks AND his talent.
He's an attractive man, surely, but it's a little sad to think that so many of his fans only see a handsome face. He has such amazing talent and he really seems to be a deep, intellectual man. He also seems to be such a sweetheart. I think it would be amazing to just with with him and talk over coffee.
When I first took interest on Tom is when I saw "The Avengers" in the cinema. And so, I decided to search videos of him here on RU-vid and what I see is not just a guy with a pretty face, but a man that is smart to talk with about other things besides his career and yes, he IS a deep and intellectual man of our decade and that is what makes me fall in love towards Tom.
I love this guy because his personality made me find him attractive. Not many people are that special where they can grow to be beautiful or handsome in one's eyes simply because of how sweet and down to earth they are.
I agree. True, he's very attractive but he's one of those people that if I could just have a conversation over coffee with him, I'd be completely satisfied. He's funny, intelligent, very charismatic and surprisingly humble. Just one conversation with this guy and I will be perfect happy and content with life ^-^

I speak for my own here when I say that I love Tom for his personality. He's always so humble about everything. He always answers his questions in interviews in the utmost intellectual perfection. He's charming, funny, adorable, smart, the list can go on and on. At first, yeah, I thought he was a pretty face. I paid no attention to him. It wasn't until I saw the interviews, got to know a little bit more about him, that I realized the perfection of this man.
Can we look beyond Tom's appearance for a moment and look at his acting ability and the way he talks about his characters making you realize thing that you never have before? He's incredibly talented and should be looked as as such
Everything you just said is exactly how I see him. I'm an 18 year old girl, and while I find him absolutely gorgeous, I love him more for his caring, polite and deep personality. He's magnificently talented and I agree, it's such a shame that many girls my age only like him for his looks. Just chatting to him over coffee, as you said, would indeed be amazing- just to hear all the wonderful things he has to say.
i think that's part of why he is so wonderful. not only his looks but every time he says anything, it's so deep and intellectual. every time he talks about any of his characters you can tell that they have a special place in his heart and career. he puts so much thought into each role he takes on.
I totally agree with you there, he is a marvellous actor, and he always goes in such depth and detail about the characters he plays, and I think that is honestly why Loki is my favourite character ever because the way Tom plays him makes you really feel the emotion, and even though he is incredibly handsome and i do have a crush on him, i would like to be friends more then anything because I believe he could be a great person to hang out with.
I can't help but get angry reading these comments! Every Loki fan I know, genuinely admires Tom, not only for his good looks, but for his personality and talent. Scratch that. We all love Tom, first and foremost, for his personality! Yes, we go up and beyond with the "ovaries" jokes (I'm not a fan of those, myself), but check Tumblr...there are loads and loads of blogs dedicated to Tom based solely on him and his kind, gentle heart. I've never seen an actor so happy and grateful for his job. xx

He's such a sweet and smart man, I would love to meet him. My one fear though, is that if I ever do, I will just stand there blushing and stuttering like a complete idiot. When really there is so much I would love to talk about.
The closed caption is sooooo off. I am POSITIVE of it. I have no sound on my computer,and have to wait for it to be fixed..... BUT I would like to pass on that the closed caption is MASSIVELY INCORRECT. Tom speaks perfectly,& the CLOSED CAPTION is WRONG..(I don't know who does that part on RU-vid) I know what this beautiful creature sounds like & how perfect he talks.

Exactly!! If people just want to look at a sexy/handsome face, there are honestly plenty in The Avengers-move. The thing that really had me hooked on Tom is the gentleness, intelligent and sweetnes that he exudes. Sure, he is handsome, but it's that aura/personality of his that makes him truely attractive to me :)
This might sound like the cheesiest thing ever but oh well. Tom is one of my favorite actors and he has made me remember how much I want to achieve becoming an actress because he is always so happy and gives a spectacular performance. I want to be like that.
