Tom Jones is the definition of Rizz. That Tom Jones version of "Kiss" is fire. But also if you want to see some truly savage dancing in a performance you should react to "Treat Her Right" from the Tom Jones TV Show. The audience is entirely women and they lose their minds watching Jones dance.
I've seen Tom Jones 8xs in concert. He is 83 & still kicking ass. One of the best voices in the business. Elvis was a great friend & asked Tom about for advice regarding playing in Vegas. He ends all his concerts with Kiss. Please do more Tom Jones songs. Live versions if you can He's a powerhouse.
He is a legend and one of the best voices of all time. Listen to “I Who Have Nothing” if you want to be truly stunned and mesmerized. You’ve got to do the live version though. And any of his songs really should be done live. “Kiss” live by him is awesome and you definitely need to check out “Sex Bomb”. He’s STILL got it going on!
Make sure y’all check out Tom and his guest Janis Joplin KILLING it on his show! “ Raise Your Hand”! He’s the Welsh Elvis. Can sing any genre. He had everyone on his show. ❤ His take on Prince’s KISS is phenomenal! Tom has soul! Watch him and Wilson Pickett on his show- Wilson was Tom’s idol.
Delilah- Tom Jones . Gents this may be his biggest hit. The lyrics tell quite a story and it was a huge hit going to #1 in multiple countries in 1967. Love to see you react to it and bet you would like it also. Thanks for this great reaction!
You should check out his live performance of “Treat Her Right”…he gives you the hip action he is well known for, plus he goes into the audience and kisses about 4 or 5 different women on the lips, definitely couldn’t get away with that today 😂
Tom with Jennifer Hudson "Its a man's world" on the VOICE UK, also there is Tom doing the best performances on the Voice Uk is a must see!! yes Tom is still going strong!!
Hey guys, it's about time you all got to Tom Jones, a living legend. Apart from its not unusual and kiss, this guy has a list of hits. You need to check out Delilah and his version of Green Green Grass of Home...fire. As usual I thoroughly enjoyed your reactions and comments. I would love to see olly do the Carlton though
Most kids now days know him from the movies Mars Attacks and The Emperors New Groove. I remember seeing him perform on TV in Vegas and the ladies would be throwing room keys and panties up on stage when Tom came out to sing.
Thanks for another great video and reaction. I love Tom Jones even though he was performing before I was even born. I went and saw him in concert here in New Zealand about 20 years ago and he was awesome. He may have been past his prime/early fame then but was having a resurgence in popularity in the 80s/90s after doing a cover of the Prince song Kiss in collaboration with Art of Noise and he also had a successful covers/duet album with other artists - the album was called Reload. I'm not sure how popular it was in the USA but was very successful in UK/Europe/NZ etc. He still performs today and is one of the coaches on the TV show The Voice (UK version, I think) and still has a great voice and presence. If you wanted to look at some of his earlier hits - Delilah, Help Yourself, She's a lady, Green green grass of home and I'll never fall in love again are all excellent. Later hits besides Kiss include Sex Bomb and Burning down the House (with the Cardigans).
This is so random!! 😆Please do a performance of this or I'll Never Fall in Love Again, from his TV show, This is Tom Jones. Also Tom's version of KISS is a banger.
You started talking about "Kiss" and all I could think was "Think I better dance now!" My brother and I used to bust out with that and crack up laughing for years after that song came out.
Song length was Kind of decided by Radio to allow more time for advertising space. A song had to be under a certain length to be considered "Radio Friendly." It was getting a bit longer in the 60's, in the 50's it was usually 1:30 to 2:00 minutes. and it got longer as the 60's went on. A lot of songs back then were edited down to shorter Radio versions.
You dudes rock !! You covering all the bases. He was considered a crooner. He got all the women! He even dated the smoking hot Mary Wilson from The Supremes! He sang songs that appealed to housewives but he can sing and did a duet with Janis Joplin . Also sang with Crosby, Stills,Nash and Young. Not my type of thing but the dude can sing. He's from the UK , Wales to be exact..A total chick magnet! He's got a bigger panties collection than all the Victoria Secret stores combined!!
@@retha1875 yea he did . His wife knew all about his cheating.she stayed in Wales, never traveled with him. She had agoraphobia barely left the house. So next time before shooting your trap off research it then respond. He was with Mary Wilson after The Supremes split up. 100% fact! Many married men go on dates. Especially rich famous ones.
🤣🤣🤣My folks never missed the TV show and I remember thinking "I want to be that cool 😎😎😎 Tom may have been one of the first to have panties thrown at him on stage 🤔😉😳 Spread the love Brothers 🐶🇺🇸😎 Fenom, I am proud to say I have made it to the "get off my lawn faze" and now I hope to be just like Walter (Jeff Dunham's old man dummy) yeah that's me... and happy as can be doin' it😁
My mom loved Tom Jones. We had to watch his TV show every week. I prefer Tom's cover of Kiss over Prince's, maybe because I heard Tom Jones first. I had to laugh at the "get off my lawn" comment. We used to get yelled at by a neighbor because we were keeping his baby awake. When I had a baby of my own I became that neighbor.
This video is something I've never seen before, and it's truly "unusual ". There's another older video of him performing it on stage, which is a better rendition for the song and his stage presence, star power.
Where on earth did this video come from??? I'm so sad that this is the first one you're seeing of Tom! He's so much more impressive than this! By the way, Tom Jones bent down on stage to kiss my sister at one of his Las Vegas shows in the 1970s. ❤ His Vegas act and TV show years were huge! For an early - but knock you off your feet - Tom Jones experience, look up the 1960s live performance of I'll Never Fall in Love Again. I watched a compilation video of women reacting to that same TV show performance and every one of them was enchanted within 30 seconds. To get his sexy charismatic side, check out the live performance of Treat Her Right from his TV show. Also from that show, his voice will knock you out on the powerful ballad, I Who Have Nothing. Then for pure 1960s joy (also from the TV show), check out Tom performing with various guest artists, like he and Janis Joplin singing Raise Your Hand. There's a great medley with Stevie Wonder that includes both their hits that's also pure delight to experience. And definitely follow up on your idea to watch him in later years on that cover of Prince's song, Kiss! I had the pleasure of seeing him live just once in Baltimore around the late 1990s - decades after his heyday. It was astounding how much energy he generated. Women were still throwing lingere and hotel keys on the stage. Enjoy the adventure ahead! I know many of us will enjoy coming aling for the ride.
OH that was MURRAY THE K the famous WINS 1010 DJ on NYC radio, that ran out there at the end, wearing the hat. I think this was from the TV show "WHERE THE ACTION IS" which I watched all the time back then. Yes I was their age then. I will be 77 in March. You should react to THIS LIVE performance of TOM JONES which shows what he was really like in his shows. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KkKTMoRs-TU.html "TREAT HER RIGHT" You will LOVE THIS ONE! "IT'S NOT UNUSUAL" is longer than what was shown here. Listen to the studio recording of it. Tom Jones is from WALES in the UK.
Interesting tid bit David Bowie Real Name is David Jones So when Bowie broke into the the biz he was told to change his name because of Davey Jones from the Monkees and the confusion it may cause so he changed it to Tom Jones and then boom Tom Jones broke at the same time with this song and it went to number 1. So David Jones management came up with Bowie and David Bowie was born!!
You missed the mark with this video. Weird. Never saw this one. You wanted Live, not with animals lol He does a great song with Janis Joplin that is absolute fire. It's called Raise Your Hand. He also sang for the Queen at her Silver Jubilee and did a song called Sex Pot lol The Queen was a fan.
Fenom makes a good point. How did those free-spirited kids become so curmudgeonly in their older years? TJ wanted to be a soul singer but 'pop star' was his only option for success.
Why on earth did you chose such a crappy video? Tom Jones is fabulous live and he has such fab dance moves yet all we saw was him walking round. Shame on you for not researching him properly and showing a decent video.
It is going back to earliest Tom vs coming years of his US rise and early 70s TV show. I agree that another version from color TV shows is preferred and still can be done for even other songs. Still NEVER seeing this one was interesting and his hair with a bit of the CURLY MULLET from the 80s or a longer back Ducktail from the 50s ..... STILL INTERESTING VIDEO WORTH A LOOK.
