He's a very desirable man. He's now 83and I would bring him home with me. I have followed him since I was very young. I married @ 19. My husband was.older than me. He still let me travel to Tom Jones shows .

You're right VJ, this is great even by Tom's high standards. But who's the girl backup? I've heard many girls sing that backup for him and she's better than all, maybe even Torrie Amos who sang it with him on the original track.
I'm a 51-year fan, and I know Jay & Tom were buddies and all...but this is NOT his 'best' performance of this song. It's got great soul but it's a mess technically. He's pitchy in spots and his voice breaks when he tries to reach those high ones. I've seen at least a half dozen of these live versions and in my opinion the only really good one is the one on the studio CD.
