Hey Uncle Tom, you’ve inspired me to keep exercising all of my life, from running cross country turkey trot at age 13 to 50 years later! Thanks for being so continuously inspiring to try new things that are a challenge!

I met Tom & his best friend Larry on the last few miles of the Long Beach Half Marathon in 2015. We connected & I was able to help him cross the finish line at one of the hottest races in LB on record. Ever since then Tom has been beyond inspirational! His endurance & zest for life is unmatched. Even with some big obstacles in his way, he manages to push through and complete these races all along with a winning attitude. Not cancer, nor Parkinsons or even age can stop this powerhouse of a man. To say he is our hero is an understatement! Papa Tom is the best & we adore him!!
