This is a collaboration of two German bands: In the first room AnnenMayKantereit are playing and Henning May (deep raspy voice) is their singer. And in the second room Giant Rooks are playing, Frederik Rabe is their singer. A little later AnnenMayKantereit join them. The guys of AnnenMayKantereit are the older ones.. AMK does mostly German songs, Henning can also sing without that rasp, his voice is amazing, but I like Frederiks voice even more. Giant Rooks do English songs, even though they are Germans as well.

Both their voices are very attractive. Though, I lean more toward the 1st guy's voice. They're both awesome singers. I just never expected that voice coming from such a small kid. They're both kids to me.

Henning May is the lead singer for the group The 4 name band. Thd other singer Fredrick is the lead singer for Giant Rook. This cover was recorded in 2019. The band Henning May, the guy with the incredible voice plays several instruments, when he is in concert in Germany they have a large band with quite a lot of horn, sax, and surprisingly quite a few are women. They sing in German, unless they are covering an English song. Henning has been recording some shorts you can find on RU-vid and TicToc which iis lidted under his name not the band and he is usually playing piano. I think he is training to sing more songs in English. The band has recorded a cover og Roxanne by tge Police. They have recorded a few CD's in German. Even though i have no idea what they are singingbit spunds great. I look forward to the group singing an English CD abd touring the US. Giant Rook, they sing in both languages. They did tour the US opening for another band. Fredrick like Henningvplays several instruments, keyboard, drums & guitar.
This is the transition from original 80s analog equalizer every sound pruduced manually to 90s effects and digital transition loopers and beat drums. Then 80s joining back in on the vibe the last part was pure vibing. I grew up in the 80s then went full blast DJ in the 90s man. I felt that transition and sticking to the roots. we lost it come 2k, 2k1,& just degraded in 2k2.
He Annen May raspy voice he is sing in a different key to match the lead sing for Griant Rook. The first room had Mnnen May band and the second is Giant Rook's band. Great collaboration. They are both German bands.i love his voice of Annen May. It's such a unique voice. He can sing without the gravelly voice. It depends on the song. He did Roxanne with another guy and the gravel is much lower. He really has a great voice from a balled to songs like this with power. I seen them in concert and they are a big band. I think they bring in the horns extra. Since I saw the Roxanne cover and it was really nice. And they did it with 5 or 6 guys. I hope they do more songs in English His voice is quite versatile, he plays piano and keyboards. That's is a powerhouse voice, I wish them great success.

Pronounciation of the names: Unnen, My, Kunterite - the nand acutally has 5 members but only three of them appear in the band's name. Maybe you shold listen to their song 'Pocahontas' . 'I'm so sorry, Pocahontas, I hope you know this...'. It's in German, but you can liten to Henning May doing falsetto, too.
I thought the first guys voice goes better with the song lol. That's why music is subjective. In a singing competition, the second guy would win, but it doesn't vibe with the song like the first guy
