Land floods you get flooded with insurance ads. You get it. When it floods again you find out there's now a loop hole because you live in a flood prone area, because it flooded once before leading to the ads and now no payout. They did it in Brisbane after 2011 floods

We lost everything in Katrina and I still think Tom is one of the best and his joke IS funny. Sometimes you have to get over shit and just laugh about it for it to “sink” in.

My house got flooded by Katrina, my family and all my neighbors lost so much in that disaster, and I still would have at least chuckled at Tom's joke. It wasn't punching down at the wrong time, it was simply dark observational humor, I can roll with that all day. The only stand up I saw try Katrina humor that actually ticked me off was, believe it or not, on "Mind of Mencia". His main part of his bit was, "Of course you got flooded! You live near, DUH, WA-TERR!" His whole L.A. audience thought it was great. Note, *L.A. AUDIENCE*. I remember just sitting there waiting for the San Andreas fault line to crack open and swallow all those idiots whole, or maybe just a nice rogue Pacific Ocean tidal wave could wash over them. Mencia was punching down and being an oblivious moron about it. That's part of why these 4 guys have careers and Mencia doesn't (well, I don't know about Ari, but still lol).
