@@BigBandGuy This podcast and the talkville podcast has been doing consistent numbers for years and lightly glossing over Tom´s health scare is not some scummy clickbait or whatever you mean by your comment. Unless you have some reason to believe that Tom would lie about it. If there are reasons please let me know or do you just think the worst of people?

I always feel like I’m gonna pass out just knowing I have to go to the DMV! For real though, I am so thankful Tom is good and thankful his wife was there to soften the fall and it’s beautiful to witness this friendship between Tom and Michael. These guys are setting an awesome example! ❤️🎁❤️

What happened to Tom was undoubtedly something very serious that kept him unconscious for such a long time that he woke up in hospital and did not understand who and how many people had come to see him, this means that he was sedated or in a confusional state and from what he describes, it could be an epileptic seizure with loss of consciousness. But whatever happened to him and made his parents fly from New York to Los Angeles was definitely something serious and the scary near death title of this clip, says it all. I hope and pray that what happened to him never happens again and that Tom will always enjoy excellent health. Thank you so much for opening up to us Tom❤❤❤. Talking about happens to us, scares us or torments us can make us feel better sometimes and thank you so much Michael for being such a good friend to Tom.❤❤❤

Tom seems to be in a good place. Love from freinds and family and a little perspective from a lifetime of experience helps. I enjoy the authentic conversations they have and their memories making a show I enjoyed as a kid. The behind the scenes is always interesting!

Just finished watching Smallvile after 20 years. @Michael Rosenbaum @Tom Welling. Started watching it in 2004-2005. My then soon to be husband raved about Smallville. Went ahead and started the series. Stopped at season 4. Life began and marriage began. Fast forward to 2023, and began season 5. Fast forward to 2024 and I finally finished it! *finally exhales*.

I really loved watching yall's show when I was just out of high-school. I'm about yalls age but definitely felt like the show was one of the cleanest shows out there and I watch it now with my boys.

My husband had a cardiac arrest in the street outside the British Vets in Abu Dhabi when we lived there. 3 Vets gave him CPR and luckily they had an oxygen cylinder and a dog mask as they were about to operate on a dog....LOL. He survived to tell the tale, my hubby that is, not the dog, but the dog eventually had his operation after the drama! Glad you are well now! xxxx

I Blame the DMV that place is worse than Hell. Its like being stuck in Limbo while all the clerks lalygagging with no sense of urgency or public responsibility. Glad your Ok Tom. Thanks to both of you for the cool yet short disconnects of life with Smallville.

Beautiful how Michael was there for Tom! However this might be a health scare, but it's not a NDE (Near Death Experience), which is when you die and remember seeing the other side, then come back :)

They're just not telling us everything. People don't just faint for no reason. Also, he didn't wake up until he was already hospitalized. That's very unusual. Usually someone is only unconscious for a few seconds before they come around (a few minutes to fully recover). For Tom to be out so long that an ambulance was called, the EMTs arrived and assessed him, transported him to whatever hospital was nearest, then he awoke sometime later is a very long time.

Geez--wuz i blocked? Was gona add thx for sharing. (I had wrote 'God ... was gona be a superman curse story'. Just the tragic irony merited comment. Of course, glad it wasn't. And the happenstance of leaning to a support as fainting is a LIFE HACK for sure. Think i did that when i had the flu once. Caught a bannister, kept me from falling onto a staircase, then fell back onto a wall.)
