@@luckyjasonfan It's even referenced in a pre-crisis comic, that he used to save the day fast enough that no one would see him before he was Supes. I think he even called himself the Blur, but IDK. Look up the comic, "Clark Kent Gives Up Superman."
I know right?! I was like WTF when they started playing! Hearing that intro song by Remy Zero would have been class! Just like when Keanu came out on stage for the CyberPunk 2077 announcement, they should've played "Wake Up" by RATM ffs.
I have to admit, the guy is a great actor. I’d never have imagined him to be charismatic and talkative. He really pushed the “reserved” “conflicted” Clark Kent agenda very well.
he has the very very long journey that no one can ever imagine, like the flash, and maybe at some point he'll lost the way, at that time we all need something to hold on to, something make us.. us, to always remember who we are and what we want to be... when we were a child and even when we grown up still we cant fully understand all this, imagine how hard it would be with the being like him, so it not to much to say that he so deserved the ending like the ending in 'crisis on infinite earth'
Not since Christopher Reeve have I've seen someone that could capture the essence of the Superman character. He was a great man of steel. Can't believe the show has been over for four years now.
I love you Tom Welling. Generations after generations, people will fall in love with your charismatic presence in Smallville. You are my most favourite Superman.
I just watched Smallville again, all 10 seasons... Have forgotten what a good show it was, and still is... CW's new Arrowverse series are good, but when it comes to storyline, romance and how to build a hero, Smallville writers do it better, they know what viewers like to see and they tease and tease for years and then they give it to us. Clark has a support team, but they are not overbearing and he does the thinking and saving himself, unlike Arrowverse's characters, they have even come to the point where they teach the heroes what to do and they do the saving many times... what a trainwreck the shows have become.. Smallville is still the best
In terms of a superhero show Smallville was the pioneer and the best after that they were many good superheros show but none as good as this one with that quality plots for many years of course they had bad seasons like some of the finals but its a show of 10 season what do you expect? Ver few shows could be for ten seasons with that quality
@@JTR253 i wouldn't call it a train wreck if they set the standard for not only superhero shows but even just tv shows in general.. the show was flawed, but it was so good that the flaws were easy to deal with.
+unknown22919 They tried and I think they offered him the brandon routh superman part but he declined it focusing (fortunately) on smallville instead. They definitely didn't consider him at all for Man of Steel as they want to re-imagine him.
I can see where he gets his good looks. His mom is stunning. Best Superman ever. Role was like written for him. He is gorgeous and charismatic, intelligent.
@@eduardoarruda3697 I'm kind of feeling let down. It was great to see him in there but I'd have loved to see him play a larger part. There wouldn't really be an arrow verse without smallville. I hope they use him in the future in some way
I starting watching the complete series Jan 27, 2020. Too long of a tale to tell, but I only saw the first few episodes of the 1st season of Smallville, when they first aired. Currently I'm watching the final episode of season 4. Watching this in binge mode has been interesting, to notice things like 5 second or so clips which are used in more than one episode. Two that come to mind right now are 1) the night-time scene outside the barn loft with the moon in the sky and 2) the storm approaching Smallville - in one episode the storm was something fierce coming and in another episode described as a regular storm. I am obsessed with the loft in the barn, I love that living space. The farm house is nice too. I found the Kent Farm on Google Earth. 49° 0'59.31"N, 122°32'17.60"W If you view this on Google Earth be sure to turn on 3D Buildings! I have a 3 screen computer. I watch the show on one screen, search show info and do other work with the other 2 screens. I challenged myself to find the bridge Clark jumped from onto the moving semi....and I found it! Season 4 Episode 16 (edit: had originally stated this was episode 15), starting at about 30 minutes 55 seconds : The bridge Clark jumps off of. 49° 3'34.95"N, 123° 5'46.80"W
@@adrianlopez8796 With a few google searches I found the Talon Coffee Shop. The Google Earth coords are 49° 6'23.96"N, 122°44'5.45"W. During searching I found a web page that has "all" the filming locations, saves me a lot of time!!! :) Smallville Filming Locations: www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1boJyO8tHWcOTtw5H9IhYeO8FVXA&usp=sharing This is not a complete list though. It doesn't include the bridge I found that Clark jumped off of. So maybe I still have some work ahead of me. :-)
Smallville started it all with the DC shows that are on today Arrow, the Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow but in my opinion Smallville is the best Tom played Clark Kent perfectly wouldnt want it any other way i loved this show so much i have every season on dvd and the way the Kryptonite sounded when clark got near was just absolute awesome reunion anyone dont think it will happen.
This show could've gone on for much longer than it did. Clark is a great character, sensitively portrayed by Tom. The acting was great and it really didn't hurt that Tom is such beautiful eye candy. I hope he lives happily ever after with his wife!
Stephen Amell was just on Seth Meyers and just in January he was on Jimmy Kimmel... Seriously, does someone always have to dis a show they don't like, even though it's popular? Stop the hate. 😒
Good to hear that. Wish him nothing but the best. He was the most perfect young Clark Kent. Been re watching Smallville lately and I still get lost in his beautiful blue eyes!
His parents can be proud of their son he is simply magnificent !!💣💥💥 I enjoyed myself during the confinement I watched the whole series of Smallville that I had bought before ! I became a fan I love this series and I love Clark Kent💗💗 Tom Welling is a bomb in this series💣😍
Wish Smallville had continued on. There was so much more that could have been done. All the old stories of Smallville in the comic books over the years were numerous. I hope one day it may come back in one form or another but it would be hard to ever top this. The greatest show of my life time.
Here’s the thing though: Smallville is a show about Clark Kent’s journey from a high school teen to a reporter/hero and getting his powers. The finale was intended for Clark to become Superman (which made it so awesome because it played the classic Superman theme at the end!). Made me cry with joy even when it was over!
+Christa Pantz i was wondering the same thing , how old was his Smallville character when he started in 2001 ?? maybe he was supposed to be 14 that 1st season so hes just stating the age Clark Kent was supposed to be , either way that's pretty weird , why'd you think he said that ???
He was being sarcastic....his character would have been 24 years old in season 10 so he was making a tongue in cheek response about needing his parents as chaperones at that imaginary age.
wow.. this is actually a great interview. Jimmy is really funny and he's not interrupting Tom when he's telling the story about the party. Now he does that a lot. And both of them seem relaxed and happy. Now the interviews are so.. hmm scripted and sad..
Well, in a a lot of talk shows, interviewees are briefed on what to say, to pull funny anecdotes and stuff like that to keep it entertaining. It's more staged than Pro Wrestling.
After so long in 2022 and watching Smallville again and am on Season 8 Episode 7 and am still enjoying it the same way and happy that I don't remember every detail so some new reflecting surprises 😀 I love it
+TheOMGsee why does he say "at 24 i still need a chaperone" ?? that would mean he was 14 when he started Smallville (which is impossible because you can't work full days on set as a minor , thats why highschool roles are always played by adults) his IMDB says he was born in 1977 , which would make him 34 ... in the film industry embellishing on your age is one thing but by a whole decade ??
I saw some of the episodes back in the day but I wasn't a regular watcher. I just started Season 1 and am really enjoying it---the chemistry between the characters is great.
Best TV actor to have ever lived. I finished watching Smallville last month for a whole month, and it was the best DCTV series to have ever lived. Great storyline, impressive character development. Now, since last month Tom was confirmed as Clark Kent in the Crisis, I really can’t wait to see him as Superman and suiting up. Crisis is gonna be awesome!!!!
+Ronnie Perez Personally, the Supergirl series is inferior to Smallville, although I watch it hoping it gets better. So I hope Tom doesn't feature on it at all, it's not worthy. Were it a better show, I would have loved to see him guest star as a villain; an epic one like Dean Cain's on Smallville.
He was having an affair with his married costar Erica here. You didn't know that he was cheating on his wife and his wife found out and left him and Erica was gonna leave her husband after the show ended and they were gonna be together but Erica flaked out and went back to her husband and left tom heartbroken and this is why he and Erica don't keep in touch and why he never talks or mentions her at comic cons and he has done over 10 comic cons this year and not once he mentioned Erica or Lois lane. So sad this Bitch broke his heart and why he won't do smallville movie or reunion, or supergirl all cuz of her
I am rewatching Smallville with my eight years old son and he loves the show as much as I love. The show can even help to teach good leassons for kids about being a good person, since Superman tries always to be honest and Fair ALL the time. Tom defnitly fits perfectly in the supermans role. Best show ever!
como uma fã brasileira é impossível deixar de reparar que a voz original dele encaixa perfeitamente com a dublada, ficou perfeita!... Smallville marcou a minha infância pra sempre ❤
it's so weird that this isn't in HD hahaha I mean all jimmy fallon clips I randomly see are super clear now. then again I am also unaware the show has been around for so so long.
Ive been a fan of smallville.. had all their dvd season 1 to 10 in my collection.... really miss them.. season 1 is soo sweeeettte.. where clark kent (tom) had a feeling towards lana.. played by kristin kreuk.. very cute couple..
I just finished watching smallville, I can’t believe I never watched it when I was younger. Such a great show now I’m left with nothing to watch and will never see another Superman the same Tom was the best.
Tom welling lives his real life like the Clark Kent he’s such a genuinely nice man. I was smallville through and through back in the day. Like if you’re one of the talkville members 😊
Best show ever! I’m a Superman fan because of Tom Welling. Also the cast and story line was amazing and cannot be topped by any other superhero show In my opinion and it will always be dear to my heart!🙏💪❤️
