Ahh you never know what to expect from Down the Rabbit Hole. Commercial flights are pressurized, but usually the pressure is around 8,000FT, So it would be like drinking Tomato juice at 8,000FT. I use to skydive a lot, plane is unpressurized, normal jump altitude is 13,500ft, but sadly I never thought of trying tomato juice at that height. Have fun over seas.
Thanks Brandon! So would it taste different at a lower height? Or would the taste be more noticable in an unpressurized cabin? Seems I missed something in this experiment.
@@DowntheRabbitHole0 I think there is only one thing to do, you and I need to go skydiving, and we will bring lots of tomato juice, trying it at 1000ft intervals in the unpressurized cabin up to 14,000ft, and taking notes. Then we jump out. My guess is it would taste a bit ‘muted’ at high altitude. There have been times when circling at 14,000-15,000ft waiting to jump that we get a bit of tunnel vision and colors and get a slight bit desaturated.
I don’t know anything about high altitude affecting your taste buds but I swear drinking alcohol at 36000 feet is like drinking tap water and it’s affect hits me harder once the plane lands! Maybe try that experiment on your return trip Kevin 😅
Wow, the view out the window looks amazing. I've never flown before and I probably never will but sure looks cool. I like how well you managed to sync the audio with the video. I always have a hard time with editing audio stuff like, well done good sir.
Thanks Swifto! Yup it's a loooooong way down. It just made sense to do this as voice over as I was incomprehensible when I spoke. I mean, more incomprehensible than usual that is.
