I'm not entirely sure but I don't think it needs to be the same save. But remember you can use the level skip cheat to get certain kills aswell.

Nope you can go to any save point and get the death and it registers, I’m doing it atm and so far it goes to the trophy as soon as the passport opens. Hopped from caves for the bats and darts to st Francis folly for the lions, to Atlantis for the winged critters, all counted.

You have to reload saves when you die so it should, also I used level skip cheat to get my last kill. So you can use level skip cheat to skip to any level you want to get certain kills.

I'll have to start a new game and do the level skips to go through the list again. I was bouncing between old saves to get to the levels I needed,@@pyrrhicvictory6978

In going through the list a second time, the trophy popped after dying to a rat. It appears that the rat kill didn't count the first time. My only guess as to why is because my first death to rats was in water, and the rat that popped the trophy was on land.

Maybe you missed one ? I don't know what to say all these deaths gave me the achievement. I wish you good luck with getting the achievement.

Achievements, and for doing everything possible in a game. Just a way to nudge players to as much as they can and get an award for it.

It also makes you explore parts of the game or find out stuff you wouldn't normally know. Like for example the Crane Dive achievement in Tomb Raider 2 I would never of discovered without the trophy.

You get one for the block falling on your head.

You get a trophy for the block falling on your head (it won't damage you) but you need to be killed by the hammer itself
