Omg this is everything. I had hoped since Tomb Raider Anniversary that the 2nd game would get remade, but then the whole series got completely rebooted and I realized it probably wasn't gonna happen.
This fan remake looks absolutely incredible and I'm so excited to get my hands on the long awaited final version.. It has to be said however, watching whoever was playing in this video was beyond frustrating. Just things like not shaking off the spiders and dying over and over in the same spots.. could have been a 35-40 minute video

Extremely impressive. Even though there are graphical better fan projects of other games, this one is the most graphically consistent I've seen, and seemingly all of the little quirks are there. The sound effects, the camera manipulation, animations, everytthing is clean and consistent. This very well COULD be a legit remake of the game. Excellent work.
Tomb Raider II had the most memorable level designs. Also the only Tomb Raider game I went back on beating multiple times. It was the first game I owned or played with 3D acceleration technology. I owned a good number of Tomb Raider games but they just are not memorable except for Tomb Raider II. This looks fantastic. Like putting the old picture in a new frame.
This is how games look awesome and challenging when they're being developed by passionate developers, immune to any distractions from biggotted corporate bosses to workfield pressures.
I WANT THIS LARA BACK!!! This Lara design is so iconic.. I can’t believe how they have turned Lara into a generic action protagonist removing everything that made her unique.
this is nostalgia + quality packed into a video...the true essence of a Lara explorer/adventurer game that takes u places...not that generic bullcrap in the latest trilogy with that whiny voice actress with too many emotions🙄🙄
Really well done. Would be cooler if they kept the old menu picture and modelled laras face to look like she does in that picture/ the core game cinematics do.
Anniversary had so much potential, but they scaled back all those massive environments and added stupid boss battles. All I want is a reskinned version of the first two games. The best in my opinion.

One person built this game all by himself !! I wish this game be out but that never happen :( unless guy making the game years from now sells it to Sony or xbox then bring it on but I'd say its PC game only or it never look this real.
I like the look but really don't like the mechanics. It's just the same bs crystal dynamics and eidos Montreal gave us the last 15 years. I really want another TR that's challenging in regards of puzzles and platforming. This is just lame action focused jumping with automated grabbing.

I know that people on the internet don't like opinions as soon as they disagree with them, but that will not keep me from telling it. Btw.: I know that a fan made it (based on the updates on the website the development at least is paused). That is a reason to not criticize it? If someone publishes anything, he/she has to live with critics. Positive and negative. Its as simple as that. If you can't handle it, don't publish anything. I also don't see how the gameplay mechanics and the general concept of a game "doesn't matter".
