I’m typically not a fan of new graphics for Tomb Raider, I will never play anything beyond Angel of Darkness lol. But this was super beautiful and if they gave us a remaster like this, like as colourful as this. It might just be the first one with new graphics that I’d actually play.

It's games like this with environments, sound and music - atmosphere you can get totally lost in... and wish would never end. Remember playing TR whilst in college. Would study a bit or type out senior project then take a break by playing a level of TR. Such memories. Albeit hen there were far fewer worries and loads of time. We need more games like this. Adventure without killing something every 5 seconds. The reimagined TR with Laura swimming in a river of blood - you can f'ing keep that garbage. The latest incarnation of Laura had been rewritten as an object of destruction, always moments away from being assaulted. Just utter garbage. The original trilogy are where the fond memories reside - computer gaming at its finest. This redressing of the original TR2 looks phenomenal. Hope the developers can pull it off. You would not believe how many gamers they would make happy, particularly those that desire games just to get lost in, admire all the scenery. Hope they can add as much detail as feasible and perhaps even weather effects. VR would be simply amazing.

Now this is what tomb Raider should have been as a remaster. I mean we have medievil, crash, Spyro.. only Lara isn't remastered yet. I mean medievil got remastered! Don't get me wrong it's a great game, But lara is way more famous. Get on your balls crystal!

This is unbelievably gorgeous, my childhood thanks you. ❤ Edit: I also wanted to note that most remasters or graphical upgrades usually sacrifice the vibrance of colors to add to the realism. This one manages to maintain the exact same aesthetic while also adding detail. I can't praise you enough for achieving this.

this game wasn't received well but #2 was amazing and the best tomb raider game. it was huge, way more combat, a movie like story and even more hidden stuff and it was hard.
