In a new series, we replay some of my fav games of the past in 2024. The 2013 Tomb Raider reboot explores the intense and gritty origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a young woman to a hardened survivor. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold.

Thanks for the entertainment and the nostalgia, Angaar. I can't believe this was 11 years ago. It was my first modern game, and I got 100% completion (although I probably was not very efficient). I haven't done the expansion tombs or the other two games in the trilogy yet. Life (and Conan Exiles ;) ) got in the way.

This is a game i always wanted to play. 11 years ago...wow time is moving! Love the Brutality and the Beauty artistic style!

Just an FYI, there is a Lara Croft Way in Derby city center, there is also a Lewis Lane, and my sat nav says Lois Lane, it's awesome

I do love the Tomb Raider series (and Uncharted, as well) but get frustrated if I can't bypass a puzzle that I find difficult. I stopped playing one because I just couldn't swing from vine to vine and the game would not let me progress without it. The story has always been more important to me than the button-mashing, so I love it when my favourite RU-vidrs play the game for me! Keep it up Angaar! Would you consider doing a Twitch stream so that we could all distract you in the comments?? :-)
