The car sounds good! But be careful with the heat wrap on the headers, since they’re mounted under the motor it might get some oil on it and you don’t want it to combust.
Car sounds rad! If you liked how it sounded before the headers but you want it louder you can also just do equal length headers. If you want the rumble then yeah definitely a resonated front pipe ideally the stock one if you’re not gonna go forced induction anytime soon. Stock because it just cleans the rasp so well, you can also de cat it and it’ll be a bit louder too
ive been on e85 for a few months and the power difference is so worth it. on 91 i was getting 27mpg combined and now im getting 26mpg with e85. saving $2 per gallon
@@romeocano1919 now my cars average is like 16.3-4 cant remember lol. On par with an LS v8 lmao. But it sees the track. I’ve always had 3 maps. I had to use fuel economy map once in my life coming home from the track, I was averaging 36+mpg for at least 15-20 miles. Car barely makes 200wheel I’m always stepping on it lol

I have a BRZ with catless header and front pipe, I tried a full resonated front pipe thinking it would significantly help quieting the noise down and it didn't. Wouldn't recommend doing that.
Oof that Cold start up! It sounds kinda like a scat pack with pops. The fact that it throws flames too. Also I think it sounds to raspy. Personally in my opinion I don’t t like
I run tomei catless UEL with oem front and over pipe with trd quad tip cat back. I think it’s the perfect balance for sound, not too loud, doesn’t drone.
Awesome indepth install. Feel a little more confident trying this on my own now. Also, smart call on using the floor jack to help with the leverage installing the new headers 👍🏽
As soon as you said leaking air I knew exactly what was wrong. Sorry to hear it. Have cracked my fair share of barrels being stanced. PSA do not get it welded, just get a whole new barrel and rebuild the wheel! 🤝🤝🤝
@@chinosaki8067 she can but it's not safe, I've seen wheels break apart from a weld because the wheel is already weak and loses its strength. This can also lead to more cracks or a wheel exploding from hitting a pot hole or anything hard.

I love your KNPs! I have a pair aswell in a 22 offset and it's an awesome looking wheel. They look really good in white too you got me wanting to change the color of mine from gunmetal. You 86 sounds amazing love this set up.
Alex try getting a bottle of soapy water and spray it on the tire tread and the valve stem if you see bubbles that’s your leak, nice video sounds sooo good 🔥
These headers are amazing, but exactly what you said is true (it happen to me). Because you are catless that is why it gets too raspy. Either put a muffler on and leave it catless or put the cat back on or put a res on it. My set up is these exact headers, no cats or res, but I put cherrybomb mufflers on it and it sounds deep almost like a Mustang 5.0 V8... Almost not quite like it but damn close to one.
nice video Alex , just be careful with the cops i had the same headers on mine with the crackle pop tune and i got defected for noise pollution then i had to pass the car at inspection station, i hope this doesnt happen to you, be safe cant wait til you do your next mod seeyaaa :)
To get better grip just use nitrile gloves and people think their gonna save money by switching to e85 but it burns 20-30% faster so you're really not saving much
Looks like your very mechanically inclined so I'll suggest putting on a muffler and a cat that's not that loud kind of low tone and gives your car a nice little decent rumble not something so exaggerated like the one you were testing. You're right about it being raspy, sounding like a tractor and that's really for on the track . Will hen you're riding in the neighborhood you're going to wake up neighbors but if you put something low toned very low something that gives you a nice little satisfying rumble but in the low tone, I think you'll be pretty happy with it.
I just got my tomei uel headers on like a few days ago as well and I have a tomei 80r catback and it is loud! 😂 sounds good though now I have that subi rumble
You answered on of my questions I have had for awhile... I have mbrp axelback exhaust and wanna get Tomei headers girl lol I do not want my car to sound as loud as yours..do I need to keep my front pipe stock?
car sounds good, try out the 1320 dual resonated front pipe or JDL, the HKS DR FP tends to break on the welds, my cousin's did after 3yrs lol my exhaust set up consists of (stock headers+stock overpipe+ 1320 DRFP+ resonated delete Ividia N1), imo ill probably find another Invidia to get that resonator back or weld the stock one on lmao. Keep up the great content!
Also i dont recommend running E85 permanently. It will be better to do flex fuel or at least switch between full E85 and 91s. E85 are very corrosive and when it sits for too long, your rubber seals and stuff and start corrode away.
